Droppoff service.
Phone service during trek, because of some minor errors on the dashboard and because we got stuck halfway up on a 13% hill

really nice rental company, enjoyed every bit of our time using their rental car, and we got to travel the whole southern coast of Iceland, which I think is very impressive 😃🇮🇸. overall no problems with their car and had a comfortable cozy (and most importantly warm, cos its dead cold outside) ride with their car😃. would recommend, for their ease of business, booking, getting the car, returning it and all the packages that they offer to make sure we are safe during our rental period. their cars are nice too 👍🏼😃 totally recommended🇮🇸

Convenient service for comparing prices, confirmation comes instantly. Excellent customer service, we made a mistake in the date when booking and they changed the date to the correct one without any problems. The rental went without any issues, all the indicated services were included. We are very satisfied!

Everything was excellent.
The car was like we expected.
The shuttle service to pick up us and drop of at the airport was accurate and punctual.

We got stuck on the way to return the vehicle, and needed a tow truck to get free. Which should have been on our bill, but the company decided to give us a late christmas present, and fixed everything themselves completely free of charge, so that we didnt miss our flight.

Excellent service from Northbound, always answered my questions, rearranged bookings because we kept having to cancel because of covid and then when we were to eventually fly there was a 2 day delay due to Kevlavik being snowed in! Cannot fault and would definitely use again.

The 2022 Toyota RAV4 was an awesome car and a joy to drive in Iceland. We drove to many places in the South and had no issues at all. The cost of rental was reasonable even with the additional insurance coverage. Pickup of the car could be improved. I had to find the car in the carpark. Would have been better if the staff showed me the car and went through some key functions. Would also be good for the staff and I to visually confirm the condition of the car prior to signing off on the rental. Overall, it was a good experience and would rent again if I visited Iceland again. Cheers.

The experience was increddible. The vecicle was in good condition and we didn't face any problem in all of the Ring Road we made even though the snow on the road in the most of our journey. Special thanks to the first and last communication ladies, Camila and Iris.

Overall I was very happy with the car, it served me well and was a great little car. The collection was great, even though I arrived an hour earlier than expected the guys had the car ready and after a brief chat about the roads and conditions in Iceland I was on my way. Very happy with the service, I just wish I'd known the collection point was a 5 minute walk from the terminal. I ended up getting the bus but it would have been quicker for me to just walk over but this is no way is the fault of Go Rental as it was only when I dropped the car back off again I realised how close it was. I probably wouldn't have found the collection point if I had just walked from the airport but it is a very short distance.

Vehicle collected at tip top condition, handover was smooth and MYCAR team has been really responsive. The rental was the best we could found too. We had fun, smooth and memorable trips with this Toyota Proace Verso across the south island, it fits comfortably for 6 adults full of big luggage and huge jackets.

Northbound is an excellent rental car company operating in Iceland. If you have the opportunity to come to Iceland don't hesitate to choose it. I have rented the 2022 Toyota Yaris Automatic and it was the best option for the Ring Road: comfortable, excellent driving experience and low fuel consumption (4,2 L /100km). The customer support was also fantastic: fast reception in the airport and the same for the return. Thank you for making my 9 days in Iceland a great experience. I would recommend it to everyone. 100/100 🇮🇸✨

I am very happy with all aspects of this booking.
The staff at MyCar were amazing, when it became apparent that our luggage and wheelchair were not going to fit in the RAV4, they upgraded us to a Landcruiser at no extra cost! I also witnessed some very patient customer service with another customer who was being quite awkward and picky.
The vehicle was clean, well maintained and performed perfectly throughout the trip. Airport pick up and drop off were prompt and efficient too. All in all, excellent!

I rented a car in website of Northbound with a full coverage insurance; however when my husband and I came to Iceland, I had to buy another insurance of the rental car company with a really ridiculous reason that the insurance of Northbound wasn’t accepted. I had to buy another insurance or I had to deposit with the amount of €2500. We didn’t understand why the rental car company and the Northbound had no link or connection together. We didn’t know whether we had been cheated by 2 seperate companies or not.
What an unpleasant experience!!!

Everything worked out great. We were actually a large group of 20 and we have rented 5 vehicles from your company, and we got icked up at the airport and brought to your rental location in timely manner. What made the experience even better was that when we have arrived there were 5 red Subarus waiting there for us. That was a nice touch and it made it easier for us to follow each other to and from our visiting destinations. Great service even better staff.

We had a fairly good experience. The pickup process is a little confusing with the crowd of people standing at the entrance to the terminal. We rented a Yaris but through some mistake they had us signed up for a Toyota Land Cruiser. We decided to accept the change which was problematic because of the narrow roads and cramped parking spaces at hotels and tourist sites in Iceland. The vehicle they provided had obviously not been detailed following the prior rental. There were dirty floor mats and clumps of dirt on the carpet in the cargo area. The wind shield was also poorly cleaned with excessive streaking on the inside and a difficult to remove hard water like stains covering the outside surface. Made for difficult driving when driving into the sun. Once I was able to clean the windshield, the vehicle ran well and provided comfortable touring of the island.

We used northbound.is to compare many rental sites and make our decision for our campervan in Iceland. It was a very helpful and useful tool. Their customer service is excellent as well.
