Beautiful Location.
The funeral was very well managed throughout. The chapel was welcoming and comfortable and the service was handled respectfully by the Celebrant. We were very happy about how everything was presented.

Our only concerns were, and this might be due to the present situation with COVID, that there was no waiting room for the family to gather in before the service. However, there was a place to sit whilst waiting for the coffin so we were warm and dry.

We had family driving from Devon and so it was difficult to be accurate regarding their arrival time. The notice requesting no entry to the car park until ten minutes before the service was therefore a little disconcerting as there is no nearby place to park and wait.

A sad day but helped along by the staff at the crematorium.

Professional, personal service throughout the proceedings.
Whilst a minor comment - the photograph displayed on the wall above the coffin is very difficult to see, as it is too high on the wall.
Would recommend for anyone that requires a dignified, peaceful service.

Having only said goodbye to my Dad a year previously my Mum had expressed it was her wish that she also have her service at North Herts Memorial. It is a lovely venue and provides a wonderful place to pay your last respects to a loved one. Thank you.

Every family member and friend who attended were made to feel special on the day and the care to attention is a credit to all of the staff at the North Herts Memorial. The picture tribute is something I highly recommend. A truly wonderful caring experience on such a sad occasion. It is such a beautiful venue and a perfect one to say goodbye to a loved one.

Beautiful setting and respectable staff from the funeral personal to the caretakers of the grounds at such a hard time to lose my love one I can only recommend Holwell cremation.

North Herts Memorial Park is in a lovely setting surrounded by open countryside with good facilities.
The quality of the screens in the chapel was very good for showing both video and photograph tributes, the quality of music was excellent too.
In these Covid 19 times Government restrictions would allow only 30 people to attend but on the day the social distancing was well managed. A significant bonus was the ability to have a live webcast of the service so people could log in, we had people from Zimbabwe, Tasmania and various parts of the UK join in, their feedback of the quality of the webcast was EXCELLENT.

Easy to find and good parking

I was very happy with the service provided at North Herts Crematorium. The grounds are beautiful, the facilities are excellent. The sound and technical set up was very good. I can't fault the service they provide and would highly recommend the facility.

One of the saddest days we all have to bear at some point.
Outside there is plenty of space for people to gather before the service
The chapel was light and bright with plenty of space.
The chapel has lovely big windows to one side that look over the open country side where i was able to gaze across and take myself away and think of my mum in happier times.
Every one there was caring and helpful from the start of the service to the end.

Sadly, my husband passed away recently and in a time that was difficult anyway, the funeral was something I wanted to be remembered with love and pride. I have to say that the setting for the crematorium was in beautiful surroundings, the service was a beautiful celebration of my husband's life and was live streamed for family and friends who weren't able to attend. I will always have fond memories that we did my husband proud and gave him a good send off.

Our son was fabulous and we requested a fabulous service and not the normal service You would expect and Holwell crematorium and all the staff did not let us down. Absolutely amazing in every way.

We would like to thank the staff for the dignified and respectful care we received. The crematorium and grounds are restful and beautiful. The webcast was really appreciated as it allowed those who were unable to attend the funeral due to Covid-19 restrictions to view the service.

Following the service for our mother Elizabeth Holcombe on the 2nd of September. We would like to thank all the staff for the excellent care we received. The crematorium is a lovely place to say our goodbye, calming and peaceful both out side and in. The staff who were on hand to guide us through the process were kind and professional. The current restrictions were up held in such a way they didn’t effect or impact too much on our experience. The. Video link proved to be a great way for friends and family who were not able to attend to be part of the service and the feed back I have received from them has been excellent. They have told me the quality of both the sound and visual were excellent.
We can’t thank you all enough.

Beautiful place, everything went very smoothly, the people who were outside due to restrictions were allowed in at the end to pay their respects

I was very pleased with the organisation and planning for my husband's funeral on the 18th.of August.Every safety precautions was undertaken to ensure the funeral party adhered to to the covid policy -safe distancing and the wearing of masks.The environment was warm and the Vickar and the funeral directors made us welcome. I was very happy the service and the visuals displays of my husband.The venue was beautiful and I would recommend the Northhertsmemorail to anyone for the final service of a loved one

A welcoming place, beautifully clean. The service went very well, the webcast was great allowing my family to view the funeral from overseas, they were so thankful to be part of dads farewell...

We were greeted by an amazing rainbow when we left the crematorium, just wonderful, then Onto release a dove in the well kept gardens.

very pleased with venue ,plenty of parking closeby .pleasant pond area ,even with covid restictions pleased with arrangments

The reason one visits a crematorium are never pleasant, however considering the circumstance the environment seemed clean, presentable, airy and as one would expect. Parking was plentiful and the audio was sufficiently loud enough so everybody there could hear.

The crematorium and grounds are just beautiful. The Chapple has lots of light and its modern, clean and personal. The venue offers a conservatory which is available for meeting and thanking etc immediately after the services. The flowers are set out in this conservatory on a table. The service and surroundings were just beautiful, could not have asked for a better send off for our loved one.

A beautiful restful place - every thing was perfect.
