Impossible to update
I've been on the phone all morning trying to update my address. The number they provide on their website doesn't work. The automated call is lengthy and randomly cuts out. They've hung up on me three times so far. They've also told me that my broadband will be doubling in price after the move.
I was told my broadband would go live on the 6th. As of the 18th, I still have no internet and I can't get through to anyone on the phone.
Avoid NOWTV at all costs. It's not worth it.

Trying to cancel my old broadband as I got a better deal from HyperOptic was a right pain. The automated bot struggled to take my voice inputs and the wait to get somebody on the phone was quite long. I got cut off mid queueing and you can't go straight to the option you know you need until you've heard all options.
It's also not possible to cancel the broadband subscription via the website, which would have saved me all of this pain. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but it sucks.
I will admin that the bot struggling to understand me might have been my poor 5g. If I hear a robot tell me "sorry I didn't catch that" again to the word yes I might just top myself.
The prices when relating to broadband speed were really poor which was my reason for moving.

2 GP weekends in a row the tv guide has wrongly been advertised, meaning instead of it being the ‘Qualifying’ it was actually broadcasting the ‘Sprint’ race.
Last GP weekend the race was wrongly advertised and I turned it on half way through.
Tried online chat - which is so laughable. Disconnected everyone before I can even explain the issue, so in a loop of asking for account details and being disconnected.
Stick to watching F1 on Channel4.

NowTV makes it stupidly hard to leave
EASY to join, hard to leave- you can add TV packages that cost extra money, all online, easy-peasy. But trying to cancel my membership means paying money to call a Premium phone number and spending 5 minutes on the phone. All at my cost. Pity the "trap the users" policy is in place, otherwise was reasonably satisfied with NowTV broadband except for the last couple of weeks of intermittent/slow services. But this sort of "making life hard for the customer" makes me angry. So there goes your rating. Want better ratings? Don't be so predatory in your business practices.

What a drama!!!!! I tried to cancel after free trial- impossible!! no phone assistance so contacted my bank to block future payments. Bank informed me they would,so I forgot all about it. Next thing they were still taking out £9:99 twice even though it was unauthorised! Tried online chat- they had no record of me! They could not identify me by sort code, email nor last 4 digits of card number!!But still took out my money! I spent whole day for them to identify me, at last they did… saying i should have cancelled at checkout????? What?????? They have promised no further payments for NOW membership and i must say one customer agent called Brachy did solve issue( the only one), was very helpful. We will see. Oh by the way my bank has blocked my card as all this is suspicious fraud. My blood pressure’s through the roof. Avoid,avoid, avoid. Scammers!!!!!!
Don't try nowtv sport.
I purchased nowtv sport on 8th March 2024 for £34.9 for the express purpose of watching Indian Wells tennis matches. But I am very unhappy as this service does not allow me to watch the match of my choice even though it is a live match at the very time I am watching. Example. Wednesday 13/3/24 I am the only able watch the women's match between Sabalenko & Novarro. When the match Rudd v Monfils is live on another court. Massive disappointment & not what the advert inferred. Massive overcharging for 1 months tv. I will never use now again.
The most helpful person I've ever come across
My Now TV remote had stopped working for some reason, not sure why but went onto the now tv chat room for help. Brachy managed to not only help me with my problem but also did it in such a way that I fully understood the issue. The customer service that they gave me was top quality and anyone would be lucky to have them help. If someone at NowTV is reading this I would 100% advise to keep Brachy at all cost. They make the difference.
Vile service for the 24hr sport pass for £12
24hr sport pass for £12 - terrible quality, smeary and low frame rates, absolutely awful value. I even took the ridiculously priced ‘upgrade’ for higher quality streams that made no difference whatsoever. Shame it’s simply a monopoly with no other option on certain sporting events otherwise these guys would simply not exist.
(Gigabit connection that streams 4k hdr no problem, so don’t even begin to think it’s you)

Big scam company they advertise there broadband cheap to get you to sign up but then they dont supply the said speeds or service, in fact from day one my internet did not work at all. I tried to phone Now but it is impossible to get through to a real person everything is just automated. I then tried to email them but again just got automated replies non of which helped. I then tried the live chat on there website but turns out its not live at all its just a computer. The problem was at there end not mine and because i could not get hold of a real person to explain the situation i could not try and sort the problem out so in the end i had no choice but to cancel the payments at my bank as i was paying for something that i never got or had. Now i am getting emails and letters demanding money for charges for leaving early. Mybe if they had proper customer services where you can actually talk to a real person then mybe i wouldnt of had to cancel at my bank and leave early. Now breaks there own contracts and terms by not supplying the promised service, they take money from your bank for something they never gave and when you dare to cancel they will take no responsibilily and blame everything on you and add charges and threaten you with legal action. I am taking this to watchdog as i am pretty sure its illegal to offer a service then not give it but still take money and add charges when they havent even supplied the service in the first place, just think of the world we would live in if everyone did that. Avoid this company like the plague there scam artists.

Proper Scam
I signed up with an offer that was 5.99 a month for 6 months. It came with 1 month "gift" for 2 packages, one was Movies, the other one no idea what it was. After a month, I got charged 11.99, so after ages trying to contact them, I finally found their Customer Service chat, and after another 15 minutes waiting on the chat I spoke to someone that didn't really speak English and instead of answering my questions just kept copypasting the Terms of the 5.99/month for 6 months offer on the chat. There is NO 5.99 a month for 6 months, since you can't opt out of the "gifts" they give you when you sign in, and since you got the "gifts" you actually have to pay 11.99+5+5.99, so a whooping total of 23.98 a month, so 17 euro more than advertised. This is the definition of a scam. Luckily I used Paypal so I can dispute the charge but what a crappy experience this was. Also, the Customer Service person was asking me for my Bank Card details, which I didn't provide, but seriously bad feelings being asked for my Bank Card when I paid with Paypal. Stay away from them

I have a pay monthly broadband contract with NowTV since 2019. NowTV without any notification or justification increased my monthly payment by over 50%. When I called customer service they were not very helpful and bullies. Please be very careful using NowTV and watch your direct debits very carefully. It took me two months to realise I had been effectively robbed. I though I could complain to Ofcom, but no, apparently Ofcom do....NOTHING to help consumers.

Signed up to a 12 month contract and moved home half way through, was never advised there would be charges and was grossly overcharged for the next 2 months (£28 over). I called to rectify and was advised that it would be adjusted in the next bill. When I was charged again they only credited by £6 so I've had to contact them again! They have also increased my bill because apparently that offer is no longer available even though I am only 7 months into a 12 month contract! Why is it a contract if they can just change the cost half way through! AVOID AVOID AVOID. Nothing but aggravation from them!

Total rubbish of a company. Signed up to broadband and was given a go live date for me to receive a text saying to call them something wrong. Rang them was told go live delayed by 48 hours. 2 days befor go live date I ring as no modem arrived told order was cancelled when they when had already taken money off me, no correspondence was sent whatsoever and they said they could transfer me to sales to rejoin. Said NO!!! Fraudulent company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
