Nu Aqua Lifetime warranty!
Nu Aqua is the best! I'm super happy with my 7-stage platinum series. It was super easy to install, and I love my clean water. The filter club is great too! This company is amazing, with a lifetime warranty! Couldn't be happier!
Company relies on theft to survive
This company’s business model is to charge for a complete order and then “partially delivered” the order and not send the balance of the order. Twice I have had filter orders partially delivered and had to contact them more than a month after the initial delivery for the balance. On my most recent order they refuse to send the balance even though their shipping site only lists one tracking number (for the delivered portion of the order) and no tracking order for the “second” which they say they shipped. should be easy to solve - send me the tracking number, but they refuse. This is a company built on theft. Don’t order from them. they are at best incompetent but more likely thieves. They will only respond to one email from yo, then ghost you considering the issue solved. STAY AWAY
NU Aqua SCAM? $420 Filter Died in a Month - No Refund, No Help!
I bought the NU Aqua 4-Stage Countertop Reverse Osmosis System for $420. After just one month, it completely stopped working. I contacted customer support, and that turned into a frustrating circus. They demanded photos and videos, which I sent, and I carefully followed all their instructions. The filter is completely dead.
They refused to give me a refund, even though their website claims a 120-day full money-back guarantee, even if you just don’t like the product. In my case, it’s not that I didn’t like it — it simply does not work.
They promised to send me a replacement block, but it’s been 10 days, and I’m still waiting for the return shipping label. When I followed up, they just told me to go back and reread our previous messages
Sent a returned RO system, missing parts, bad quality, and the GAC filters aren't fully packed
The title refers to my entire purchase from Nu Aqua, which was for a check valve and the 100 GPD 5 stage RO system. I bought it directly from their website, but they quickly removed the reviews posted on their website without explanation, so I am posting one here. Notice that on their website there are no negative reviews, while on Amazon there are quite a few on their products.
I have installed RO systems from three different brands, and Nu Aqua is by far the worst I could imagine being possible. The quality is so bad I would call it defective, the customer service is slow and ridiculous, and they try to screw the customer.
Nu Aqua sent me a shipping carton which had marks from having been shipped several times. Every box and bag inside had been opened and the check valve part was missing or never added to the box.
They claimed the check valve had been sent with the RO system, and told me that I would need to send them a picture of the check valve in order for them to confirm that it wasn't in the box.
Of course, I'm sure you had the same reaction to that as I did. Take a picture of what, nothing?????
The RO system itself was obviously a used return. However, the GAC (granular activated carbon) filters had plastic wrap on them, so I'd expect them to have been new. But these filters had so much void space in them that you could hear the carbon rustling around the interior if you shook them lightly. The carbon needs to be packed in the filter, or the water just flows through the void space, especially since these filters can be installed horizontally or vertically.
They suggest their RO membrane should be replaced in eight months of use, and should be compared to a quality brand like Dow Filmtec which lasts FIVE YEARS.
Overall, the company is very shady, is refusing to process a refund on the item they didn't send, refusing to refund the used RO system unless I accept to pay for return shipping and take a 15% restocking fee, and is sending used and defective parts/systems to customers as brand new products.
