What made this great for me as a first time buyer was straight after placing an order that would have been a costly error of judgement of internet buying if for some reason I lost my money (over £800 hundred pounds), as soon as my order was placed I was contacted by the company to tell me that the free item that was offered with the purchase was unavailable as they had run out of stock of the free item included in the deal. I replied I was not bothered about the free offer as the price of the item also meant a saving of £300 at least of the current market value. this also felt reassuring that this was not an online scam and very friendly response from (Ross) the company. having established this they were then happy to conclude the sale conscientiously themselves, a first rate service that still had the "human" element often lacking in online shopping, Thank you very much to Oakleys Garden Machinery from a very satisfied happy customer.

I ordered 2 parts that were marked in stock on their website as I knew there was a shortage elsewhere from main suppliers with one of the parts. Was told by them when I hadn't received them that they don't keep stock but order in for a 10 day delivery once someone has paid. After the 10 days I contacted them again and sure enough they could not get one! Why say in stock when it isn't?

One of the few companies that had the item in stock. 10 days from order to delivery hence only 4 stars.
