Easy to understand for someone not used to doing things online

Jeremy Goodchild was a very nice chap and not pushy that my wife and I liked. He also came across as knowledgeable and we are seriously considering appointing Octopus on the back of Jeremy’s advice pending our benchmarking costs.

I was very impressed by the service I was given by Jack when he called at my home to start the process of making my Last Will & Testament. Jack took the time to explain the process and after the meeting advised me via email that my information had been passed to the drafting department. Excellent service Jack!
That was on the 5th June 2026 and here we are on the 18th July 2026 and I am still waiting for my amended draft which was promised for the 17th July 2026.
I have contacted the company via telephone on two occasions, the first time to inform of the missing 2 words in the draft and a week later to enquire when could I expect the amended draft.
I was advised on the second call that I should have been advised it would take 10 working days before I would receive the amended draft but I should receive it by the 17th July.
On both calls the representatives answering my call were quite abrupt and due to both of their accents I am convinced the Call Centre is not in the UK. I have no problem with the location, provided I receive the standard of service expected, I feel that I have not, on this occasion received a quality service that deserves recommendation to my friends and others!
I will not use Octopus-Legacy again, not even for the storage of my important documents!

Abosulutely appalling service since Octopus took over New Law. With New Law emails were replied quickly and nice friendly service. 20 plus calls today all going to message.
