I wasn't expecting this poor service…

I wasn't expecting such poor service from the repair service provided by amazon.uk, I'm completely disappointed, I sent my GIGABYTE RTX 4090 for repair and they sent it back with a paper saying it's been repaired 8 minutes later after it was received and without any explanation of what exactly had been done, I still have the HDMI not working, they haven't repaired a 💩. They broke the original box and sent it to me without any wrapping and with the repair plastic envelope, Royal mail sticker and repair sticker on the original box, ruining the box. I can't recommend to use this repair service at all.

I returned my Philips sonic toothbrush…

I returned my Philips sonic toothbrush as it was the 4th that had stopped charging and I was fed up replacing them. As I didn’t know whether it was the charger or the toothbrush I returned both. After two weeks they sent a new toothbrush but no charger. I have chased this twice since august and still no charger. The first young man, Luke, said he’d do it that day. Then on 26th September Philippa apologised and again promised to send it that day. Guess what? Still no charger. However, Luke has said he will send it out today. Is there light at the end of the tunnel?

This company lose your stuff

My PS5 console was sent to them for repair via amazon on the 31st August 2023, they then emailed amazon to notify them that it could not be repaired on the 4th sept, then again on the 18th sept, on the 18th sept I was told it was sat on a returns pallet waiting to be returned to amazon so I could get a full refund, then today the 22nd Sept 2023 I get told by olympic shavers that they have sent my unfixable console to sony to bin rather than send it back to amazon so I could get my refund. I am now 539.99 out of pocket because of this shoddy company and their lies. Full chat with them below :

They mended my Braun electronic…

They mended my Braun electronic toothbrush. I was instructed to send everything except the toothbrush head. They returned my toothbrush but not the charger wire that you could attach to a 3 point plug (I cannot plug it into my bathroom). They sent me the wire for the bathroom and when I rang the ignorant women who answered the telephone said she did not know what I was on about and I would have to buy the wire. You did not return the wire so why should I buy another one?? Send them only what is broken nothing else. I have now emailed Braun asking them to send me the missing part. The Shaver Centre replace your receptionist!!!!

Sent an Expensive Garmin watch for…

Sent an Expensive Garmin watch for repair via Amazon, was given a time frame of 14 days. No communication from Amazon or repair centre I have been without my product for over 6 weeks. All calls to customer service are met with a referral to the repair team a wait of 2 days followed by the same generic email stating its still within the time frame please allow another 5 working days. Never ending cycle with no help or resolution.

Item was expensive so consider this poor service from Olympic Shaver, Amazon and Microsoft for that matter. Why are a shaver company repairing High end tablet PCs anyway? Not good enough.

SHOCKING

SHOCKING! I returned a Gigabyte RTX Graphics card to these guys for a repair via Amazon, it took some time but the card was replaced unfortunately the card failed again after 3 weeks. I contacted Olympic to hopefully get a quicker turn around for yet another repair. I sent the card back to them via DHL so had confirmation of delivery plus a photo. Weeks go by and no card, so I contacted Olympic by phone only to be told they have not recieved it, I informed them that they had and supplied them with the evidence including the item in the entrance of their unit. So they informed me they would have to find it! After several emails nothing. Fianlly I'd had enough and informed them I would simply make a court claim against them for the value of the card (£1250) plus interest.

It was found the next day.

Finally it was being forwarded to Gigabyte and would be back to me between 10-14 days...it's now 3 weeks, in total that's nearly 2 months! I use the card for work.

If you have an item under warranty that you need to be repaired DON'T send it to Olympic, ask, no demand an alternative vendor if you value your time and your item.

I brought a GIGABYTE MOTHERBOARD from Amazon (23/11/22) I sent to Olympic shavers for repair in a sealed envelope with all parts as requested on 18/2/2023 (received 20/2/23) this was returned Thursday 2/3/23 with the address label stuck onto the GIGABYTE MOTHERBOARD carton unsealed so anything could have gone missing inside was my proof of punches and a unable to repair slip.

I brought a laptop from Amazon and after a month it broke I trusted Amazon and sent it to shaver to be fixed, it wasn’t until after I sent it off that I decided to look at the reviews for this place, they really worried me I read so many bad reviews that I thought I was never going to receive my laptop back let alone it be fixed so I was really happy when after about 2 weeks I received my laptop back all fixed so very happy the only thing I would moan about is that I sent it off in the original box but they didn’t send it back but I am just grateful I have the working laptop.

Incompetence at its best !

I had to send my phone away to be repaired after a software update left some of the functions not working. This was through Amazon and should have been completed in 14 days. After contacting Amazon numerous times and nobody having a clue what was going on after 1 month I contacted Amazon again and this time said that I wanted it sorted out as all of the previous time's I had called nobody had got back to me including this company who had been instructed to by Amazon. On checking the system I was told that the repairer's had lost the phone so was given a refund.
I wasn't refunded for the case and screen protectors so am still out of pocket and have to find another phone now.
DO NOT under any circumstances let Amazon send your item to this company unless you want a lot of aggravation and eventually a refund once it's been lost !!!
My phone had the barcode slip inside the box and my return address on the label so I have no idea how this company has managed to lose it but having now looked at other reviews on here it appears to be a common occurrence.
What an absolute joke of a company !

Outstanding service - can’t praise enough

Outstanding service - had to send my wife’s expensive IPL device back under Braun warranty. No quibble or hassle through Amazon and Olympic returned a brand new device pretty much immediately. Cannot praise enough for the service I received.

Bad Customer Sevice

They repaired my Braun series 9 Shaver under warranty 2019. Same problem now. I knew I would have to pay this time so just called the number lady answered the phone told me I would have to send it in. When I asked for a price as it was the same as previous fault she said send it in. When I asked her to please check previous repair. Big big sigh as if too much trouble. She did it reluctantly and at end came up with same answer send it in prices will have gone up.
This is customer service??

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Sent some Airpods bought from Amazon here for repair as instructed by Amazon. Never heard from them for 3 weeks so Amazon sent brand new ones. Just had repair centre send some different Airpods back as they couldn't fix the originals. One of the ear pieces is full of ear wax - that is someone elses ear wax. How disgusting is that?!

DO NOT SEND ANYTHING TO THEM!

You have been warned - read the reviews. Do not send anything to them for repair - you will never see it again! Sent a laptop two months ago on instructions of Amazon. Haven't seen it again. Was sent replacement by Amazon (who then came asking for me to send back original, which I don't have). Told them to investigate their repair agent. The police should really be involved in looking into these frauds.

Horrendous Service

Horrendous service from the start and e-mail/phone support couldn't care less.
Phone was sent off for repair for a small crack in the screen at the start of October and tracking shows it was received by them the next working day - I was advised a 2 week repair time. One month later I chase an update to be told that they only received it a few days ago. They then alleged that it had to be sent to a second warehouse for repair. So I contact 3 weeks later and I'm told it's still to be fixed, but are unable to provide any update/status.
Requested it to be returned to me immediately still broken and was told it would be 8-14 days. Still have not received the phone.
Requests for updates from both myself and Amazon have been ignored. Please do yourself a favour and request another repair service from Amazon if they advise to send your item to this company.

Item sent back to be repaired under…

Item sent back to be repaired under warranty (only 6 months old) on an Amazon purchase. The repair team, dragonised it with a chargeable repair and then decided to lump up the work by adding fictional faults that would have been repaired under warranty and did not need doing. I know Covid hit us all hard but don`t loose face with your customers. I was quoted a sum that was almost half of what I paid for the item new in the first place.

I would give a minus 1 for the service

I would give a minus 1 for the service. Completely unreliable and untrustworthy! After buying a laptop at amazon for 1300 we found that a few buttons are not working. It was sent to this centre to be repaired TWICE and both times it said "repaired" but the 4 buttons on keyboard weren't working! Whoever signed off the laptop as repaired didn't even care to actually press on the buttons to test if it actually been fixed. In addition to that, they took the original box and never returned in. Instead it was returned in some poor quality box! I don't understand how Amazon can ruin their reputation by using such shady service provider... Totally incompetent!
