Awful sandwich combo
As always, absolutely great attentive staff, a first class bunch who need a bonus. My gripe is about the most ridiculous sandwich combo. The butty in question is the Beechwood Ham, Egg and Chips. Who on earth authorised this abomination of a sandwich needs their head wobbling, and all the others who agreed, a ham and egg sandwich with fry style chips, we all like a crisp butty, but on opening the fries looked like aged grated cheese, I didn't know what I was letting my self into, absolute rubbish sandwich and someone needs to be fired, I like butties so I need to be hired.
Being attacked by staff and banned from their store unreasonably with my little child in pushchair ! Complaint on One Stop Store on 137-139 Breckfield north road L5 4QY. Liverpool, UK
Complaint on One Stop Store on Breckfield north road Address: 137–139 Breckfield Road North, Anfield, Liverpool
Postcode: L5 4QY :
Recently I've just had a terrible experience in this shop being with my little child.
Staff not trained in customer service and conflict handling.
They where shouting on me , with no reason.
While I visited this store intending to drop off my small parcel with relay shopping provider.
I came one day earlier to send a little parcel with relay and asked politely with respectful friendly attitude another woman staff simple question "do you know why some of my parcels getting missed, lost by relay ?"
puzzled maybe they will give me some information as another people might complained on relay provider and probably is not reliable enough or it happened something else.
As she has printed the yellow label, I've looked into my bag and said that unfortunately I had forgotten the parcel at home, after a label had been printed already.
I said to her that I'll take that label home and will stick it on my parcel and will bring it to their shop to drop it off (as I know that second time won't be able to scan again the same barcode to print a label for my parcel to be sent and won't be possible to send it).
Next day I came to send my small parcel with the yellow relay label printed in their shop and put it in the relay drop off bag.
One of the staff ladies is nice, has lovely attitude.
But 2 others manifested rudeness.
I said I didn't accuse anybody personal, I've only asked a question .
Manager came and said "You not bother coming anymore in my shop to pick up any of your parcels because we cancel all of them ".
I was shocked by their attitude because it wasn't reason for this.
And where shouting on me that I am banned from their store.
As the conflict where created by them, escalated unnecessarily I picked up the parcel from relay bag, start recording video and I have audio recording as well of all these scene as a proof how it was.
Why I was told I am banned from the store?
I felt intimidated, uncomfortable, experiencing emotional distress because of their unfounded rudeness.
I was concerned their attitude might affect negatively my little child in pushchair might be affected emotionally and being traumatized.
It shouldn't be like this.
They need to apologize for this and to be accountable for their behavior, reconsider their behaviour

Northampton Road, Wellingborough
Went to one stop on Northampton Road, Wellingborough as I needed a replacement electric key, was told by the assistant that "we dont sell them" i explained to her that i was told by my energy company that if a shop has paypoint or payzone then they should stock the keys, she just "no its your energy companies problem" and that she "hasnt got time for this" Her attitude was appalling, no customer service at all. Head Office needs to look at the comments and train staff on customer service,
Following the recent change in staff and management
Following the recent change in management and staff the store is no longer the friendly local shop it was, it’s unorganised and quickly becoming scruffy.

An Unreliable and Expensive Shop
This review is based on my experiences over the past week at the Durleston Drive branch in Bognor. Unfortunately there are too many issues to write a review for each one. Therefore, I've numbered them below.
1. Short staffing. Twice in the last week the shop has been closed in the morning due to low staffing levels. This is not a one off event.
2. Door locked until 07.30. The shop opens at 06.00 (in theory), but the door remains locked for the first 1-2 hours. I have waited for up to 5 mins knocking at the door before someone lets me in. Often people give up and walk away.
3. Empty shelves. Stock levels are always poor - particularly dairy products.
4. Lack of service. Often one member of staff has to serve at the main counter and the post office.
5. Rude staff. To be fair, this doesn't apply to all the staff. About half the workforce are friendly and helpful, but the others are either nonchalant or downright rude.
I hate giving reviews like this, but having experienced these issues for several months now, it's time to say it as it is. Easily the worst retail experience I've had in many years.
Stewart on the Welwyn Garden City
Stewart on the Welwyn Garden City, Peartree lane, was extremely rude not only to me but one of his young colleagues. This is not what I expect in any store I visit. This ‘man’ has no idea of customer service and needs retraining in being useful. Because of his attitude I will think twice before going in again. There are better convenience stores locally with 5 star customer service. I am very, very unhappy with this service and know that better service is available elsewhere.
Rude customer service
£2.55 for a uncooked croissant
Tachbrook Road Leamington spa £2.55 for a uncooked croissant, unfriendly service
Terrible service
It's bad enough when someone talks with a mouth full when they're eating and you know them, but this is the first time I've been served in a shop by someone calling me 'bruva' with a biscuit literally chewed up half hanging out of their mouth

Walked a mile to drop off an Evri parcel only to be told no parcels accepted until after 2.30 pm!!!! It was 12 noon. Shop totally empty!!!! Another very angry mile walk home. Pathetic that these shops are creating their own policies and neglecting to inform the customer. Absolutely ridiculous.
Today at about 10.30am ‘ish
Today at about 10.30am ‘ish, I visited the store at Marsh view Court, Vange. On entering the store a large goods cage was blocking the aisle and a member of staff was in that aisle stocking shelves.
I asked the staff member if he could move the cage for me, politely, to which he replied No, walk all the way around! No apology or reason why he couldn’t, just no, not to my face but as he turned and walked away from me. The store had about 4 or five people waiting at the tills which partially blocked that way as well. I’m not adverse to walking but I am disabled and dodging items or people make it that little bit trickier, especially as I rely on the crutch to move about. The member of staff was completely oblivious to my situation even though he had looked me up and down whilst I spoke to him.
Maybe I’m old fashioned but I’m sure that the packet of whatever he had in his hand would have survived an extra minute not being on the shelf whilst he helped me. Oh well, a shop I shall not be using anymore!

I have had multiple issues with my parcels with this store. They offer a service but seem incapable of providing it. On one occasion the cashier had a go at me for dropping off parcels saying that there were too many and didnt I know there were other shops I could use ! I felt really uncomfortable. She also told me that I didnt even buy any items from the shop and she didnt like this ! Im sure the store makes commission on the parcels or why would then provide the service? One parcel i dropped off caused me hassle as they accepted the parcel but failed to print the address sticker. This caused me to have to contact the company and wait 48 hours to re do the address code.
I went to collect anothet one and was told they hadn't scanned it in properly and I had to contact the seller. I could see my parcel but they wouldnt let me have it. I am busy working I arrange parcel collection because I cant be at home. They have made me feel so bad that I wont use them again. I wont even go in the shop. Rude. Incompetent and incapable of offering a service they provide. How come other shops are not having all these issues ?
So one stop shop giving parking fine to Terminally ill disabled people who forget to display blue badge
So one stop shop on weston Road Stoke-on-Trent. Have now put camera out side the shop.
To catch anyone in the disabled bay who ate not displaying a blue badge.
Unfortunately I was caught not displaying mine when in a rush.
So this is one shop I'll not be using again.
Somebody wrote a letter concerning the…
Somebody wrote a letter concerning the shop in New Moston one stop about viewing older people and those with impairments badly I can totally endorse that ,they look down at you are supercilious and moan about the workload of parcels they have to deal with they called me a cow outside the shop of which I spend alot and constantly won’t look for your parcels so they are returned to sender and you lose money they back each other up in what I call a bullying technique ,if Tesco owns part of the shop why do they charge more on an item that’s in Tesco itself older people dont always grasp things quickly so I try to go at less busy times but they still gang together and laugh behind your back which is upsetting and I know impaired people feel threatened.A wonderful English Asian man said they shouldn’t treat customers differently but they do and it’s a shame that Tesco who have equal rights are not aware of all this happening, especially the parcels they cannot be bothered to look for, as one of them said ,who had been there for eight years ,do you know how many parcels we have? Sorry that’s not my job no other shop has this ethic then he asks me to apologise parcels had been left in the back and they do laugh behind your back mine and others back how do I know ?they told me in the local park about one stop shop one to avoid folks spending money elsewhere don’t need the abuse.
Rude and unhelpful.
I went into the local branch of One Stop in Dinnington, South Yorkshire this morning to return an Amazon package.
The label printer wasn't accepting my QR code, so I asked if it was an issue to be rudely informed that it was a problem with my code by the genuinely unpleasant individual working behind the counter.
This proved to be 100% INCORRECT as I returned my parcel with no issues at all at a different Evri location.
This isn't the first time dealing with this ill mannered individual and the experience is akin to eating a pickled wasp sandwich.
Thankfully my past interactions have been thankfully brief.
I would say perhaps it was a case of having a bad day, but taking into account they have a face like a smacked bum, seemingly, 24/7, 365 days a year I surmise it is highly doubtful.
I suggest this person either attends a Customer Service training course or seeks employment in a less taxing environment where interaction with other people and the general public is at a minimum.
Inpost agents
I went to collect my parcel delivered to the shop in Chesterton Newcastle u Lyme.
The staff would not hand it to me and wanted ID which I didn't have.
If you have the InPost App you don't to produce ID. It clearly states this in the App.
The accepted this but said it was 'company policy' so I had to go all the way home again.
I've informed Inpost about this too.
