Went to post a Yodel parcel in One Stop…
Went to post a Yodel parcel in One Stop Hereford, not the first time I’ve done this. Every time I asked to send off or collect a parcel, I’m met with a groan, as if it’s an inconvenience to the staff.
This time was no different, a member of staff asked me to wait at the other till even though no one was waiting to be served at hers. I waited for another member of staff to come & do it, he stood over me & didn’t bother going around to the other side of the counter. They continued to talk whilst I was just stood there waiting for confirmation. The guy just carried on talking & I walked off saying thanks. I don’t understand why they work in a shop if they don’t like customers, literally so rude every time I go in! I never leave bad reviews, I’ve just had enough of the staff there after months of this.
Worst company and waste of time
Worst company and waste of time. You wait a month for delivery and then they just cancel it. Do not use
Worst customer service
Only fair to share my google review on here for one stop billesley lane Moseley, Birmingham.
Extremely rude and lazy staff whenever I need help with the Evri printer getting jammed they huff and puff and roll their eyes like I’m asking for the world. For a few months the Evri machine has an “out of order” sign on it I believe they put it there deliberately so that they don’t have to deal with the returns as part of their commitment to lazy and poor customer service. Not a single pleasant or helpful person working at this shop and I’ve been coming here for 7 years I get better customer service from the bins outside.

TL;DR: Staff refused to sell me literal pieces of cardboard because of an expired BRP—despite the UK government switching to e-visas. I’ve been to this store over two dozen times with no issues before.
I’ve shopped here for months, spending well over a thousand pounds, but last night, my experience was ridiculous. The taller, big-boned “gentleman” (who, judging by one other negative review, already has a reputation for poor customer service) refused my sale because my BRP was expired—something completely out of my control since the UK government discontinued them in favor of e-visas.
Look, I understand why age-restricted products—including rolling tips—require valid ID in an official capacity. Fine. But my BRP didn’t expire due to my negligence—it expired because the UK government decided to phase out physical BRPs entirely. What am I supposed to do in that situation? How else am I meant to prove my age when it only expired two months ago?
To make it worse, a different staff member—who has ID’d me only once before but has always remembered me—suddenly acted like he didn’t know me. Literally, last week I was asked for ID but didn’t have my wallet on me (the only ever time), so then I went up to him and he tells the other staff member to clear me. Suspiciously, it seemed like he was afraid or something of the “gentleman” and changed his stance after glancing at him.
This whole situation meant I had to walk back home, get my passport, and come back—just to buy cardboard—while my food got cold. Completely unnecessary.
No rolling paper, no tobacco, no alcohol, literally only the cardboard rolling tips.
On a positive note, there’s one younger staff member who is genuinely one of the most respectable people I’ve met in the UK. I wish him all the best.
Lastly, this store is already absurdly overpriced. It’s actually cheaper to order from a farther grocery store on Deliveroo—including delivery fees—than to shop here. If this is the level of service I’m getting, I might as well take my business elsewhere.

Great customer service from Kirsty and Kerry in the One Stop Moston Lane today! There was a mix up with yodel delivering my parcel. They were both really helpful with trying to resolve the problem and as it was not able to be resolved immediately they took my number and called me once the issue had been resolved.

Crawcrook Ryton shop is dirty and the stock of questionable quality.
The shop advertises 6:30am - 8:30pm but because the manager works the morning shift the staff close the shop before 8pm :(
The staff are lazy, abusive thieves who will try to short-change about ten customers per day an extra £2 or so.
Extra £20 per shift for their evening drinks I suppose!
Really brings the area down, although it may keep a certain 'demographic' out of the higher-quality (priced-matched) local competitor store's :)
The worst company I have ever worked…
The worst company I have ever worked for. They will employ anyone as they are desperate for staff. That includes some decent hard-working conscientious people and quite a few lazy useless slobs who spend their shifts vaping in the toilet, lots of smoke breaks outside at the front door and back door in full view of customers in the queue, playing games on their phones, following horse racing after placing bets, bullying and scruffy regional managers without any management skills except for maximising their expense accounts. I am sixty three years old and was often booked in for forty hours plus a week with little notice. They also got you into a WhatsApp group where the regional manager would bully and coerce people to do extra shifts to cover for people who had resigned, couldn't be bothered to turn up or had walked out. Eight hour plus shifts on your feet with a twenty minute break, minimum wage, so glad I got out.

Short change me , never again
Never had a problem using this store, until now, (Stevenage store next to the bike shop) lady was to busy looking at the cameras to count what money I gave her . one stop ✋️ I'd rather no stop and use another store absolutely child's play maths and still could give me correct change.. cheerio
Gave us only 1 out of 5 things we ordered on every item.
Ordered 5 of everything I ordered. They thought about money over anything and thought "well, they won't notice if we give them 4x less things [as in they only gave us 1 out of 5 things compared to what we ordered and I happened on every item] no wonder there is pretty much none of them about anymore.
Friendly staff and helpful
Friendly staff and helpful. Usually well stocked unless fridges or freezer not working. 4th Avenue. York
Grandstand Rd Hereford awful attitude.
I have never found any shop assistant so rude as the one in Grandstand Rd Hereford. I will NEVER use them again. If they don’t like their job then leave.
Shocking customer service.
Shocking. 14:55 10/01/2025 walked to counter to pay for my products, only to be told - I’m not serving anymore, someone will be out soon - as she walked off with her coffee mug; to leave the till area unattended.
Company doesn't care about staff
Once again, the Onestop on Newborough in Scarborough is freezing cold, the staff have to dress up like eskimos.
This company does not care about its staff.
