Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the staff, frequently describing them as rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. This negative sentiment extended to the overall service and customer service, with numerous accounts of unpleasant interactions and a lack of basic manners from employees. People often encountered issues when trying to send or collect parcels, with staff sometimes refusing service or making the process difficult. However, some people also felt that the delivery service was ambiguous, with mixed experiences reported. Title: Accused of Theft without Cause - One Stop Thinking Fail

Review:

I had the most bewildering experience at One Stop Thinking. I walked in with the intention of browsing and potentially purchasing a few items, but what I received instead was an unwarranted accusation of theft. From the moment I entered, I was shadowed by an overzealous staff member who seemed convinced I was there to commit a crime.

As I perused the aisles, I noticed the staff member's suspicious glances, which made me increasingly uncomfortable. Despite the fact that I had no intention of stealing, I found myself feeling like a criminal under surveillance. The worst part came when I decided to leave the store empty-handed, only to be stopped at the exit and interrogated about my intentions.

The humiliation and frustration of being falsely accused of theft in front of other customers is something I never thought I would experience. It's appalling that One Stop Thinking's staff would jump to such conclusions without any evidence.

i apologised for the incidence and they were adamant that i was there to cause a crime and they came up with the most elaborate story.

Inadequate staffing and training at Sherfield Road, Bramley, Hampshire.

You are not automatically given a till receipt; you have to ask for it. I always do because of the number of times I've been over-charged for items. Today it was a 120g bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk Wholenut which was priced on the shelf as £1.65.
On two other shelves were 180g bars "on offer" at £1.80. My receipt told me I'd been charged £1.80 for the smaller bar so I pointed this out to the assistant who seemed disinclined to believe me. I asked her to come and see the shelf. When she saw the lower price she removed that label and said the price had changed! I explained that the prices were different for each size, and took a photo of each shelf. She refunded the 15p overcharge very ungraciously. I think the alteration of prices on the electronic tills vis-a-vis the labels on the shelves needs looking into. Customers are reluctant to ask questions because they feel uncomfortable holding other people up. The Post Office is only open artbitrarily, causing inconvenience to the queues forming both there and at the tills, very often with only one member of staff dealing with both.

Goosewell Road Plymouth

Goosewell Road Plymouth - please put your staff through a customer service training course. Been going in for years and service is so poor. A good morning, or hello, would you like a bag. The younger staff are lovely but the older staff clearly don't want to be there.

Burley Road Leeds LS4 2PX

Came in this morning to grab some lunch before work, went to the checkout to see the lady moaning and yelling at a disabled gentleman on self checkout telling him to wait, by the time I was ready to be served she was telling me to use the self checkout. When I asked her why she yelled to someone to tell them I was angry, very poor customer service skills from somebody that's there to serve customers. Seems like she'd rather just stand about talk to staff.
The store manager was laughing and encouraging her behaviour, which I did raise as this wasn’t professional for such a huge establishment. She said she didn’t care, as it wasn’t her store or staff and they should be grateful she’s helping look over the store, and that it doesn’t belong to her, and she doesn’t care what the staff do, So she encouraged this behaviour, than to do the job she's paid to do, she then told her assistant if a complaint came in they would deny everything, act oblivious and defend one another. If I had time to wait I'd have wanted to speak to the manager who oversee the shops, and report the staff. As you can’t treat your customers like this especially myself and the disabled gentleman.
Will not be using this Onestop again.

Customer service appalling

Customer service appalling, Gateford road, Worksop.
Stand at counter waiting for them to finish what they are doing despite seeing you are stood waiting, parcel collection machine turned off an hour and 10 minutes before published closure time, try to send parcels got no stickers left, go back to collect parcel again - you can’t machine switched off 35 minutes before published closing time, then decide to tell me close 30 minutes earlier than published online by themselves and yodel. The attitude is we don’t care and won’t help. Expected to search through parcels to find what you’re looking for.
Either update times or don’t offer the service.

Maylands Av, Hemelhempstead: Review 'Use by Date' on products.

So while the shop was clean, the staff friendly enough, the manager needs to review store policy on selling food that is on its used by date.

I say this because Im on the tail-end of food piosening (where I vomited every half hour over 10hrs) from a ruslters chicken sub I bought from them to eat on the same day.

And there is no email address to send a complaint to www(dot)onestop(dot)co(dot)uk/contact-us/

One Stop on Ripon Road

One Stop on Ripon Road, Bournemouth should not be open. There is a sewage leak in the ceiling and the shop stinks of raw sewage! How can you allow a food shop to be open in this condition?! The poor staff, who are great, are subjected to standing in that stench for all of their shift. Not good enough!
Shop should be closed and the pipes need fixing and cleaning!

First time using Evri Parcel Shop here

I went in this morning to use the Evri Parcel Drop off for a return from Amazon and found the staff really helpful and friendly. As it was my first time using the service June showed me where the machine was located in the shop, how to use it and how to print. My experience couldn’t have been better. I would definitely recommend.

Staff need to do better

Good stock and variety of products but really miserable and unfriendly staff. No smiles or anything. Another time I tried to use the postoffice and it was painful. The lady didn't understand what I was saying and I gave up and left.
