Great service and product at a really good price.

13/5/2022:
Used this company last year (2021) when new glasses were needed after a cataract operation. I went for a reglaze on my varifocals once my eye had recovered enough (8 weeks). The online ordering is quite straight forward. I sent my prescription with my glasses and about 10 days later the reglazed glasses arraived. Exactly want I wanted and at a really great saving, but no loss in quality of product. I checked against Specsaver prices and saved at least £60.
I had my other eye cataract done in February 2022. Still a great saving and new glasses with me in about 10 days.
I do recommend this company to friends for their price and service, but, you have to get the form filled and make the lens choices yourself which means spending some time on searching the internet for the right ones for you. There is some information about which lenses and coatings etc when you fill in the form but it isn't very detailed. As at April 2022 I wasn't able to phone them I assume for Covid reasons, which I thought was a shame.
Still would use them again though.

Great product and service once again…

Great product and service once again from OneStop, going the extra mile with a special delivery to make sure I got my glasses before my travel deadline.
Very happy with my new Superlites with hinged arms this time... Perfect.

Excellent service
I made a mistake entering my prescription online,
They quickly sorted out a replacement at no cost.
I live quite close to their shop in Darwin and called in to explain.
They couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant.

Great service

Great service, there was a problem with my order, but Nathan contacted me and couldn't do more to help, and I love my new glasses. I've already recommended One Stop Glasses to my family - can't say more than that!

Feedback about this company on Trustpilot is very positive so it seems I was maybe unlucky. I ordered some glasses and they arrived with the arms badly misaligned. They were not fit for purpose and so I returned them to be repaired. The company suggested they must have been damaged in transit which I challenged as the packaging was pristine, and in my view it was obvious that the fault was with how the arms were attached to the frameless glass. The company said they were offended that I had challenged their explanation, and so refunded my payment but declined to replace them. They said that they would have replaced them but for the fact of me challenging their explanation. To be fair they communicated quickly and politely and did provide a refund without argument. However, 9 days after ordering them I do not have the glasses I ordered, and need to find another company to provide them.

EDIT:
I'm not going to get into an argument but do not accept my emails were caustic, and I stand by my review. In the first reply I was told 'If you send them back to us i will get them adjusted and will send them back out to you in a tough case'. I replied: 'I am not at all convinced that it will be possible to adjust them, but I accept that you are the expert in that regard and I am not.' The fact that they were not adjusted and returned suggests I may have been right.

Hi there,
You opened your 'complaint' with an email that was in part mildly caustic and accusatory, but we hoped that your tone would change when you had experienced our usually great customer service.
We are a small firm, I know who assembled the glasses, I know who packed them and when I asked if there was any chance the glasses had left us in the condition you alleged to have received them the answer was as I expected, 'no'.
We (in fact, the person who packed them) emailed you back promptly and offered to rectify the situation and issued you a returns label along with an explanation intended to put your mind at rest that this isn't how we send glasses so there must have been an issue in transit.
Rather than accept this you chose, in another email that we didn't really appreciate the tone of, to 'absolutely dispute' our reasoning and chose to adopt the idea that there was 'an obvious fault in the manufacturing'.
At this point I decided to refund and hoped that would be the end of the matter but in contacting us again to question this we ended up again going over the same ground where you would, for reasons I cannot fathom, rather argue the point that it was a failing on our part and that my taking offence to this was poor customer service!
I felt that refunding was the sensible thing to given given the way this relationship had started despite the risk of the above review, which I had expected.

Thanks - lots of comms and glasses arrived safely and look good quality. Not quite the clear long distance vision I expected but I'm not sure if it was the prescription I supplied, so I'll have to check before I raise anything with you guys.

Brilliant!

Really easy to choose and order specs from this online Optititions. Reasonable choice of frames and very efficient service. Forget the rest and look good in the best !!!!
