ONP solicitors have made the whole process extremely easy with their fast responses and detailed messages and letters keeping you up to date with what’s going on. The steps to completion system was very useful and made you feel you were moving closer to getting the keys. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable solicitors.

Fast response, good service overall.

The slowest solicitors I’ve ever dealt with. I’m currently going through a remortgage process and dealing with a case manager called Bradley C. If you’re able to, I’d avoid at all cost. There’s little to no communication, every time I call he’s unavailable. I’m told he has 24 hours to call me back and it’s been over a week despite daily chasers. There’s never a clear update on my case and every person I speak to tells me a different story. Frustrating is an understatement.

A reasonable experience overall. I will just highlight a few of the frustrations to be aware of! In the main it was a good experience. The online portal was a useful way of keeping up to date with the progress of the case, but too often the human case manager wasn't contactable by phone... with both the seller and the buyer on this purchase both pushing for a quick transaction, there was a lot of unnecessary delay and there being no underlying reason for this ever discovered! Just volume of cases per Case Manager I guess. The Case Manager had 'IT' issues on the exchange of contracts day meaning exchange wasn't achieved very frustratingly, meaning a bank holiday weekend was wasted on the sellers point of view. However once the IT issues were resolved it all went through fine, during the next week. I appreciate the attempt to automate the process, but ultimately there should always be someone who you can pick up the phone to, that can access the case information and give accurate updates on the progress.. often not the case. Perhaps a by-product of ONP being a big national company! I would probably go with a smaller local solicitor next time, that is easier to contact.

My conveyancer was always on the ball and at the other end of the phone if I had a question, very practive, I highly recommend ONP.
