Paid for nothing- dodgy company

As with all the genuine reviewers below, this company basically charge you for their “emergency response and diagnosis” in our case a faulty boiler, and the you don’t actually get it fixed and are left, £175 lighter. Their engineers diagnosis / recommendation was that the boiler needed servicing, it was still broken. The customer service woman was aggressive and wouldn’t budge. I will be pursuing a claim against them to get my money back. And the “5 star” reviews that miraculously cropped up in the last 24 hours, I do not believe to be genuine

Edit: this company have responded with an apology and an offer of discount, 4 years after scamming me and while contesting my review 3 times via trustpilot- my review was upheld based on evidence supplied to trustpilot. As I said 4 years ago (!) avoid like the plague. They keep changing their company name and I have reported them again to trustpilot today.

Avoid at all costs , use local contractor

We are a local contractor, we received a call by best technician to attend a job near our office, we were told to charge customer £60 + vat call out charge and then a minimum of £140 + vat on top for Labour for 1st hour!! Best technician take 50% of any money received from Customer as a charge back from contractor.

Avoid at all cost and call a bonafide local contractor , this company takes full advantage of the desperate situation you are in

Do not use these people

Do not use these people - even in an emergency. It just cost us £365 to be told it was a faulty socket - they didn’t even replace the socket.

DO NOT USE!!!!

Poor service and no accountability

We had no hot water so phoned this company on a Sunday. They only told me on the phone that there will be £60 call out charge. When the technician turned up at our house, he said it was £150h + VAT so ended up costing us £252 for less than an hours work and he didn’t even fix the problem. He stated we would need to get a part changed and that he couldn’t do anything further. When we had another gas engineer to look into it, they could fix the problem within 30mins without having to change any parts. Have tried to complain to this company but they take no responsibility for the poor service provided. We feel utterly ripped off and disappointed! DO NOT USE!!
