Dominic was very helpful from the 1st viewing that we did. A little bit of confusion on a legal bit but we got there in the end. Very quick in trying to get a query resolved quick so that we could complete fairly quickly.

I have been renting my properties through Oscar James many years now and I can’t recommend Vicki Becks and her Letting team enough. Their communication is excellent, whenever a tenant raises an issue, they reach out to me first and quickly arrange for a tradesperson to sort it out. They genuinely prioritise tenant’s satisfaction, which benefits to both tenant and landlord. Happy tenant means fewer problems for the landlord. I also like their quarterly inspections, they help keep everything in top shape. As a landlord, I appreciate their transparency when it comes to maintenance/repair quotes. They provide clear quotes and even allow direct communication with tradespeople if needed. Their professionalism and attention to detail make the entire process seamless. Without a doubt, I highly recommend their services to both tenants and landlords.

Horrendous Company - Do Not Use them You Will Regret It. We left our rental property in immaculate condition and they have been attempting as many ludicrous ways possible to try to stop us getting our deposit back. We got the place professionally cleaned Twice before we moved out and they have been stalling giving it back, saying they are waiting on receiving a cleaning "quote" which has taken them over a week to get... I'd love to be able to upload their checkout inventory, it was the most absurd list I've ever heard. I've rented for over 13 years with many estate agents and these are the worst of them all. They enter your home when you're not in, we caught them once entering our property without our permission. They also entered with random people, nothing to do with their company. We caught them on our Ring DoorBell. We also get a patio done, which we agreed to pay half on the promise we'd get it back when we've checked out. It's been over 2 weeks and still nothing and they're trying to link this to the property. We will be taking them to court if our deposit and payment on the patio is not returned. Stay well clear.

We used Oscar James Kettering to sell our house and buy our new one, and we’re so glad we did! Anele, Sarah, Chloe, Dom & the team were absolutely fantastic and made our moving experience so seamless. From our initial meeting with Anele to completion day we were kept updated with the whole process and no query was ever too much for them. When our first buyer pulled out, they got our house straight back on the market and we had another offer in no time. We can’t recommend them enough and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!

Praise for pulling out all the stops this week and for selling our beautiful family home in preparation for our forever home.

I had seen H House for sale and I kept being drawn back to it as we love the road and being in the village is priority for us. We were not planning on moving as we never imagined we'd find the right house in the village and be able to afford what we wanted. I was really honest upfront about our situation as we were not on the market and not in a position to offer. Despite this Danielle talked it through with me and explained if it was something we wanted to pursue after viewing she would do all she could to secure it for us. 

After viewing the house only a week ago I fell in love with it and subsequently N my husband and our 4&5 year old children loved it too when we viewed it for the second time. I contacted Danielle to explain we loved it and she instantly reassured me it was hers and Ed's personal mission to sell our house and get us in a position to officially offer on H House.

Danielle, Ed, the photographers and all the team are to be commended on their dedication, efficiency and genuine care for our family and our dream of securing H House. Our house was photographed on Monday (just gone) and the experience felt slick, respectful and very professional. We went live on rightmove on Tuesday and the house looks beautiful with a heartfelt and really positive description which Danielle had drafted on Monday ready for going live on rightmove. 

Ed and Danielle kept us informed of viewings and not only effectively communicated with us, but with one another in order not to duplicate information or confuse the process. I was home during one of the viewings and was so impressed with Danielle's warm, open but very honest manner and professional approach. Danielle had researched about Davison's buildings and the personal touches such as access to the garage and the space, storage and little quirks like a radiator in the airing cupboard. Danielle knew about the village and the community and what it could offer for the buyers. Danielle de-briefed with me after each viewing but never over promised on anything but continually reassured us that she and Ed were doing everything to sell our house. 

Incredibly, after 3 days of being the market we had an offer on our house. Ed dealt with this viewing and process. He had pre-empted my thoughts before I shared them and understood we needed to sell no lower than a certain price and he went back to the buyer, both holding our nerve which resulted in an offer we were really happy with. It was fair and realistic. Danielle had reassured me the price we set on rightmove would draw in interest and I trusted her judgements and advice because in every communication she is so genuine, caring and clearly takes pride in her work. 

On Friday Danielle called (whilst on annual leave no less) to share that our offer had been secured and that both H House and our house would be taken off the market and listed as sold STC. This was instantly followed up. I also understand that Danielle went over to the lady who currently lives at H House to share the updates and some biscuits and a cuppa as she had built a really good relationship with J. Danielle not only authentically represented us, but J the vendor of H House through her own personal journey of living in the house for 47 years, which understandably brings all the emotions. Danielle was so kind and trauma informed. She understood J’s motivations for selling the house and needing a family who would love and treasure it as she and her recently bereaved husband had done. This is a unique quality to put personal gain aside and not just sell the home to anyone, but think of the individual needs of the buyers and vendor and ensure a good match was made. From one Mum to another, Danielle understood our needs and completely got our family dynamic.

So in conclusion, a week on from us saying we wanted H House, our house was sold and we have secured H House! An amazing feat from the team, and in the words of Ed and Danielle "the stars aligned" 

Whatever the future holds, we feel really happy and confident with the service we received. We would recommend Oscar James to anyone who needed an estate agent and we can't thank you enough for your very hard work over the last week. 

Looking forward to continuing the process ready for moving, all being well.

Recently sold our house through Oscar James and I can’t thank and refer them enough! Dom F took on the sale of our property and was very professional and communicated really well.
