I hate everything about their customer portal. unfortunately my company used their platform and Im stuck with them.
Even for simple domain renewal you need to go through multiple steps and then the text gets super tiny and their web app is veery buggy.

OVH made a programming mistake that led to my PayPal details being used on another account for years.
When I finally found out and asked for my money back, they said I was the one who had set up my payment method on that account (I had not) and that they would further not remove it from that account for GDPR reasons, despite the paypal account being mine.
While that ticket was still open, they managed to bill me one more time, with the support of PayPal, despite me having cancelled all automated payments towards OVH.

I warn against this hosting. For someone who is dependent on a hosting it can be fatal!
This hosting is cheaper, but you can repay for it like we did. As I can see by the reviews here (I find that Trustpilot trustworthy) almost all the others have a similar experience as us:
OVH is great for hackers and anyone who wants to harm others. It is enough to write to OVH claiming there’s something wrong with someones website, and OVH, without any verification of whether it’s true or not, will shut down all the services without any prior warning. That's what happened to us.
When we requested proof of the existence of malicious code, an analysis, or any evidence showing how they believe or verified the claim, we received only a clearly generic email response completely unrelated to our query, like “we’re talking about one thing, and they’re replying with something entirely different.”
If you find this hard to believe, here’s a quote from the email telling us they're shutting us down:
*"It has been brought to our attention that you're hosting a phishing webpage on your service ns3192371[.]ip-135-125-189[.]eu.
Regarding the abuse (Phishing) reported to you on your service ns3192371[.]ip-135-125-189[.]eu, we are forced to put your service offline to stop the abuse."*
...they mentioned one url of our web.
There is no malicious code on our website. We’re a reliable online store (20 year history, 1700 reviews on Trustpilot with rating 4,7), and we thoroughly checked the entire site, especially the specific page mentioned. Nothing suspicious was found. OVH provided no specific details and kept repeating the same nonsense, essentially saying: “Someone said there’s something wrong with your website, so we shut it down.”
OVH is essentially a perfect support system for hackers—a method for taking down someone’s website and putting it out of operation. All you need to do is send them some made-up nonsense, and they’ll shut down the target website.
We have pay for the hosting **€3,000**! Imagine that—a cheaper hosting service must be even worse....while anything worse is hard to imagine.
Of course, we’ve switched our hosting elsewhere.
We’ve suffered a big loss because our online store was hosted on this service, and we will sue OVH for the lost revenue and the damages and expenses caused by this.

We have sent SEVERAL emails to OVH emails and links. We were asking for datails, any informations but we only have received "automated and "formal" answers from OVH. Out ticket ID: Ticket #ABUSE_ZJGTNDKRMV), which we have written into the email subject and we sent it to: ZJGTNDKRMV.6920@abus.... (emails are not allowed to enter here]
We got any answer which answer the basic question where OVH abuse team sees some non-compliant code. Because there is nothing like that as far as we analyzed. We also informed OVH about the damages and losts caused to us. Although we sent several requests, we did not receive any answer except some automatically generated general answers (with no information value).
how suprising is that the only normal non-automated response we received from OVH is here on this review!
We are already solving the case with the help of our lawyer, who accurately calculates the damages and losts.

Technische Leistung und Personal sind sicher sehr gut, aber die Benutzeroberfläche ist kompliziert und was mich umhaut: Um ein nicht mehr benötigtes Kundenkonto zu löschen, muss man per DATENSCHUTZFORMULAR die Löschung des Kontos verlangen und bekommt dann die Standardantwort des Datenschutzbeauftragten, dass das bis zu einem Monat dauern kann!!!

I purchased a dedicated server after waiting patiently for its availability, even accepting an initial delivery estimate of 120 seconds. However, after 24 hours without delivery, I contacted support and was told it would take up to a week. While not ideal, I agreed to wait. Yet, days later, my order was abruptly canceled, and I was instructed to place a new one on your website—only to find that the server I needed is no longer available. This lack of coordination and clarity has caused significant disruption to my business operations.
To make matters worse, your support team has been unhelpful and dismissive, failing to understand the critical impact of this decision on my company. My team had already decommissioned our previous server in anticipation of the new one, as per the updated timeline provided by OVH. Now, we are left scrambling to find a similar server, with no success so far. This entire experience has been deeply frustrating and has disrupted our technical operations, effectively ruining my month.

I tried to order product and always been declined say that "Based on an analysis of your order and account data, we believe that these do not provide all the necessary guarantees in terms of transaction security. To process your order, pay for it and execute the contract, OVHcloud invites you to renew your purchase using another payment method."
But I tried multiple payment method including PayPal and 2 credit cards and still get same error
Terrible payment system and truly disaster.
