Credit card networks like Visa and Mastercard allow disputes under categories like "Not as Described or Defective Merchandise/Services" (Visa reason code 13.3) or similar for Mastercard. This covers cases where:

Goods/services don't match the description (e.g., hot, fresh food as expected from a takeaway/delivery).
The product is defective or poor quality (stone cold after excessive delay qualifies as not fit for purpose).

Freezing Cold

Whenever a problem its always everyone elses fault.
Tonight the food was absolutely freezing cold took well over an hour . The delivery guy was not the normal person and I'm fed up that I haven't even bothered to tell them. I will never order from them again unless I get a full refund .

Wrong order with Paya Cuisine

Disappointed with Paya Cuisine.
Several items were wrong and the vegetarian Pad Thai was substituted for Chicken!!!
2 items missing which came to £17.
Emailed 3 times. Phoned several times. No answer.
No refund!
Therefore: No more orders from us.
No Stars would be more suitable.

Long wait times and unhelpful staff.

We have used Paya for a long time - as the food and portion size has always been good. However our last few orders have been extremely late arriving - this last time it was 2 hours late and I had to call to chase it 3 times! Not good at all - hence the poor review - when you call the staff always seem to be too busy to speak and do not seem to want to take orders. I think that - if the restaurant is busy - they should stop taking orders and wait for it to calm down - rather than leaving people who have ordered to be delivered 2+ hours. We have made the decision that we will not be using Paya again.

Will never order from Paya Radlet again.

After waiting for 1 hour and 10 minutes for our food to arrive we had high expectations wrongly thinking that Paya would have been beavering away cooking our food from scratch. How disappointed we were. My wife ordered Peppercorn Salt Tofu and I had it with chicken. Both were re-fried and dried out layered in almost raw onions and carrots. I had the Chicken in Black Bean Sauce which was tasteless and gloopy, like they had just thickened a watery sauce with cornflower. My wife’s Szechuan Stir Fry Tofu was again tasteless and floating in almost raw vegetables as was her Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables. Now, I’m no Ken Hom but believe me I know how few ingredients go into making a takeaway Chow Mein Chicken. In my 60 years on this planet I had never had a bad Chow Mein until last night. Raw carrots, raw onions, tasteless and a pointless game of spot the chicken. My Pork Ribs in Sweet Peking Sauce were small, bite size lumps of gristle that resembled ribs in the same way a pebble resembles the white cliffs of Dover. In fact the only two edible items on our £70+ bill were the Crispy Vegetable Rolls and the Egg Fried Rice. In the past we’ve always received a bag of prawn crackers but not this time. We have been ordering from Paya for almost 10 years but will never do so again.

Ordered at 6:40 through Deliveroo

Ordered at 6:40 through Deliveroo. Was told 7:20 delivery
Had to phone at 7:40 and promised 10 mins and then again at 8pm, delivery turned up at 8:20pm
Further insult was that the food was Luke warm like it had been standing around for 30 mins!
It is not cheap and I expect more if you are charging top dollar in an area like Radlett. Won’t go back there again.

Bad.

1st time we ordered was really nice and tasty. 2nd time they forgot a dish and it turned up over and hour later. And the food was nowhere near as good as before. Just when we thought we had found our new takeaway...sadly not and will no longer use them.

I dont appreciate the change from…

I dont appreciate the change from traditional pork ribs to lamb. Im assuming its to keep muslim & jewish customers happy. Youve lost my whole families custom by doing this. Id rather eat tinned food than order for Paya again. You neglect the diversity of your customers in favour for what you believe is trending. I don't eat halal & i don't eat lamb. i don't allow companies to force a product on me just because they don't cater to my needs. I am not alone in this opinion.

I ordered a take away on Saturday at 16.00 and asked for delivery at 19.00 only to be told that this might not be possible as they get busy at that time. To be fair the food did arrive on time but it was awful. The sesame toast was burnt and the rest of the food was so dry it was almost inedible. I will not be using paya again
