I am not living in a shelter but still selling on eBay. and eBay hates them as well. That's right folks. eBay is divorcing PayPal. Was told this today by a representative.

Terrible experiences are endless and constant. Regularly hold my money for reasons that have no basis in reality and even eBay agrees they are completely full of $h!t. Last month they kept $1900 and I could not pay my rent.

causing the downfall of paypal is my new hobby, which I quite enjoy. so there is a silver lining to your corrupt business practices. I love sharing this video on more and more eBay listings and plan to make an improved version next week just google

Purchased a $50 egift card. Went to use it and it had a $3.20 balance. Contacted PayPal and they said the gift cards have no purchase protection. They offered nothing. The website doesn't state anywhere that gift card purchases are not protected purchases. I've screen shot all of them. PayPal knows they have a scam/fraud issue and they've done nothing to protect the consumer.

Paypal facilitated the theft of a large sum of money from my account. When called up to investigate the matter, a person by the name of Darren Hogan from Executive Escalations responded having given the matter, at best, a cursory glance. Complaints about his conduct in investigating the matter were investigated by Darren Hogan, whose conduct was the subject of the complaint. The company has shown nothing but contempt for me as a now ex-customer and has no concern over the conduct of its staff that facilitated the theft. Staff gave details allowing a third party to access my account and to make purchases. Disgraceful customer service from a company that clearly does not care;

I didn't even set up an account with paypal, yet I still get emails from them, about purchase is being being made and when I I called to try to access the account they could not help me whatsoever and told me to just open a new account with a new email. Which is absolute Ludacris being that someone clearly is using my name to spend money. So don't usePaypal. Their customer service is non-existent and the fact that they can't help you reset a passcode is also BS.

Bought a $30 Spotify gift card and mistyped the recipient's email address. Paypal did not help send it to the correct address, and did not return my money.

Paypal Digital Gifts stole our money. Bought a $100 Apple gift card from Paypal Digital Gifts for $85, we never received the emailed gift card. Contacted them and they said they would email the gift card again. Received the gift card this time, however, when I tried to use it the website stated the gift card had a zero balance. Sent several emails to Paypal with no resolution. Will never buy another gift card from them.

Do not purchase a digital gift card from PayPal. The gift card is not available digitally or instantly as it implies. If you purchase the gift card directly from the desired company site or even in a store it will be available instantly to use. With paypal digital gift cards you are instantly charged and the funds are withdrawn from your account, but you will not recieve the digital gift card to,your email for up to 24 hours. I called customer service and was further informed that since it was my first time purchasing a gift card, mine had been put on hold for the additional time, even though they had already received the money. And it was only for $10. It was purchased for a kid to use a game and I didnt expect the wait, so I asked for,a refund and planned to just go to Google play and purchase it for instant use. But i was also denied a refund from PayPal. Ive had a paypal account for several years and have been sending money through them with no issues. But i will never purchase a digital gift card again it was too much of a hassle.

Horrible customer service and possible a scam?? My husband purchased a $100 sunglass hut gift card for me for Mother’s Day. About a week and a half after receiving the email, I could no longer find the email in my inbox. My husband tried to contact them to resend the email. He still had the email receipt showing he had purchased the gift card. My husband attempted to call three seoerate time never speaking to anyone and being left on hold between 30-60 minutes each time! My husband finally left an email and it showed that it was being reviewed for over 2 weeks! Then all of a sudden the email said it was resolved without us even talking to one person! When my husband responded back by email it said they could not resend the email or even cancel it and send another! So we were out the $100 gift card! Never use this company!!!!

Ordered a gift card and never received the activation pin. Opened a case with PayPal and there decision was that even missing the pin the card was as described avoid using unless you don't mind throwing money away.

Absolutely horrific service, selling unusable gift card codes and refusing refunds. AVOID at all costs.
