Amazing service

A professional and quality service from…

A professional and quality service from start to finish. Our boiler needed replacing and Aurimas explained the options very clearly. He arrived as arranged and completed the task in the promised time scale leaving the place spotless. I can highly recommend the company to anyone needing plumbing or heating services...thanks Aurimas for the great job..

Top guys! Saved us from our broken 25yr boiler.

Brilliant service. Removed my old dirty boiler with the dirty tank in the loft. Installed zone valves with Hive, heating upstairs and downstairs in separate zones.

No overcharge on labour, no overcharge on materials. Spot on. Power flushed my system with well-branded chemicals.

Central heating flushing

These guys absolutely brilliant.

Quick, professional and effective, the central heating works like a dream now. Even the 1 rooms we couldn't get warm are hot now.

Stay away from Serve my home limited

Stay away from Serve my home limited. We got our power flush done from them few weeks ago. They appear to be cheapest online but when they actually get the job done, they are expensive. On the day of service, firstly charged additional fees saying boiler is conventional and needs extra work but technically just worked for 5 extra minutes in the loft.

Secondly, the plumber called Aurimas Baciulis is very tricky person. He uninstalled our zone valve saying it's faulty and dangerous. We had no choice than to believe him. When I called my insurance company to look at it, the engineer said Aurimas Baciulis removed it for his own benefits and he shouldn't have uninstalled it completely. My home insurance company refused my claim as its handled by third party and classified as third party interference. I ended paying for the zone valve and labour, so it worked out more expensive.

I called Serve my home again with a hope that they can replace it. I was ready to bare the valve cost too but I was advised additional £130 for it.

Than I understood why this was removed at the first place for their own benifits. As a professional plumber , Aurimas was aware that no insurance company will touch it and he will earn another few couple of hundred pounds.

I got it fixed with a local plumber and the part was not faulty at all.

So lesson learnt, stay away from #Serve my home limited.

Let me explain from my point to make it clear for all our customers.
On the day power flushing we founded different system what we quoted you on our website. You been told is extra cost £60 or we can cancel job and you get full refund for reservation Fee. You agree! Tank needed capping and cleaning so is ready for flushing so it take around 1 extra hour to get ready for flushing.
So before start job we always check system before start. Founded 4 faults on you heating system. 1. Thermostat not operating correctly and wires is exposed 240 Volt! 2. Pump do not operate 3. Motor zone valve making sparking noise 4. Hot water cylinder is leaking.
So we point you all faults before we start the job and recommended to disconnect motor zone valve as it makes sparking noise and get you house maybe on fire who know as all house was having some issues with electric. You give us permission to disconnect faulty zone valve. After power flushing you system up and running! Pump cleaned and fixed free of charge! But recommended to replace as is very old and replace motorize zone valve. We do not offer for you any extra job like replacing valves or any thing like that. So on that day you been happy with all work is done. After 2 days we receive call saying insurance refuse to repair you valve. I was talking to engineer saying is motor zone valve above you connect it back on you responsibility if you liked but is faulty and to make it save I disconnected. It takes only 1min to reconnect. You insurance was saying we touched and they do not fix. But how we can flush you system with out touching? Pump was faulty we fixed and insurance company changed to new one for you, but we touched pump?
After this all work was done you keep calling us with threats give us negative feedback if we do not come back and change to new zone valve free of charge!
Our answer was no is not our fault and we can replace for you for extra £130 inc parts and labour (normally charge more) but we recommend to found local plumber it maybe cost you cheaper us we miles away from you. To go and back is about 2.5 hour driving 1 hour to replace zone valve us we offer all body not motor only, needs draining all system plus zone valve £60 and cost fuel yep it was our plan to make it extra £10 :) ! Just trying to be honest is not point over charge you! Motor was faulty and dangerous to keep on and disconnected with you permission. We do not offer for you to replace as you have insurance cover!

Had a engineer booked for 10am and…

Had a engineer booked for 10am and arrived slightly after at about 10.20 which was expected as was told had to come from London. Engineer had a look at all the radiators and informed me that powerflush will be done from 1 point to flush all radiators. radiators were not working downstairs but were fine upstairs. The day the engineer turned up put on the heating to find out the full heating system was working fine. So asked engineer do you think I need a powerflush as I had read reviews stating some engineer would tell you if it was actually needed or not. The engineer said it was not his job to say if it was needed or not! His job is to simply do a powerflush and leave. If the system work/does not work after flush is not his responsibility. I was abit concerned as most reviews I had read were positive. I understand that the engineer has travelled to the property for which he has already charged me £60 but he shouldnt be telling me I have wasted 20 minutes of his time for him explaining exactly what is covered and what he is able to do. I think if he cant check if job needs doing as a plumber its not good customer service.

You feedback have misleading information. You been told British Gas engineer system needs power flushing. If system needs flushing or not you insurance company all ready told you. Power flushing setup was all most ready then you asked do I need to pay if system is clean after power flushing? Answer was YES. You change you mind do not flush system and keep argue. You book power flushing, but not to check you system is two different services and charges. If you change you mind you needed to let us know before day engineer arrive not then is was ready to flush you system. Engineer travel time was 3 hours go and come back. Please respect engineers time if you need checking system please call local gas engineer. We can`t over write you insurance company if they tell you system needs flushing, because they repairing you boiler not us. We simple do power flushing and if needs repairing we can repair for additional charge or you insurance company after power flushing is completed.

A Top & Trusted Engineer with Values

The engineer arrived spot on time and from that moment he was so professional, he kept me informed fo the process and stage we were at of the flushing.

We had a few issues of blocked air and sludge build up but he continued and rectified the problems.

If only all engineers were as trusting and committed as him.

Worth every penny.

So the boiler was overheating and switching off. Rads had cold spots, had too balance the rads to get enough heat downstairs. Heating went off when water came on. Lots of noise from the boiler. Thought I would try flushing and get a new boiler.
As all the problems have been solved with the flush, I have decided too keep my boiler. The fitter wouldn't leave till the job was done properly.

Honest and very friendly.

We thought we needed a power flush it turned out it was just the temp on the tank was set to low. He could have easily done the flush and said that was the issue and charged for that, but instead he was honest with us sorted the problem within minutes saving us about £300. Thanks and I would 100% use again.

I was informed when arrival would be and again when closer to house. In fact he arrived early which suited us, and completed work in good time with a most satisfactory result. I would recommend this company for their excellent service from initial call to finish.

Having no heating or hot water and…

Having no heating or hot water and being told it couldnt be fixed until the system was power flushed I was desperate. The first company didnt turn up stating the receptionist didnt realise it would take a full day, then saying they couldnt do it. After a few desperate phone calls I found `serve my home`.
Right from the beginning they were helpful and curteous. Despite me being outside their normal area, they turned up on time and the price quoted was the price paid despite it being an extreemly dirty system. Thay even advised me and helped me in another boiler related issue. Above and beyond they say.
The price paid was nearly half of what the first company quoted. The house was left clean and tidy.. What more can I say.... Ohhh, the boiler engineer came a said it was a really good job and the boiler was working fine and didnt need repairing...... Result! Highly recommended.
