customer service none existent ordered last thursday , guidelines are processing 1-3 days delivery 2-5 days delivery however it’s now friday and not heard nothing contact through instagram multiple times and just read messages with no reply

I tried buying a set of plates from Pl8 Lab for my daughters 18th birthday in plenty of time (4 weeks prior) having already purchased and received retention certificate.
I ordered an oversized rear plate. I have previously bought a plate from them with no issue so was happy to be a returning customer.
Sadly, how mistaken was I to think I'd get a good service the second time around.
They say the plate should arrive in 5 working days which would've been great however, after 14 days I'd not received anything or heard off them. I emailed them (no phone number available which is a red flag). Heard nothing. Emailed again and again and on the third time of trying to contact them they replied. They told me that the oversized plates were out of stock and would be in between Wed and Fri of that week (this reply was on the Mon) and it would be made and guaranteed it would be posted by that weekend (I have the emails to prove this).
The following Mon came and I'd not received anything, then Tue and still nothing. I contacted them again only to be told that my plates had not been made (even though prior to the weekend I was promised different) and they would be done in the next few days.
This wasn't good enough!!! My daughters most special birthday was a few days away and I'd had nothing to give her. I explained to them that even if it was sent out that day, I'd not get them in time for her birthday so they have ruined my plans.
4 and a half weeks after I made the purchase and a week after my daughters birthday I received a package from them. To add insult to injury it was just a rear plate when I ordered and paid for a pair!!!!
After 6-8 more emails and being completely ignored, I was lucky enough to have made the purchase through PayPal.
I got PayPal involved as I was being ignored. They contacted PL8 Lab who agreed to give me a full refund if I sent them the rear plate back. I did this and had to pay the cost of the postage (so i lost that amount instantly). When the courier delivered it, it was refused at the return address and sent back to my home address and no refund was given.
I contacted a supervisor in PayPal who said it was terrible how I'd been dealt with and instantly gave me a full refund (postage included) and said I'd have nothing more to do and they would reclaim the cost backs from PL8 Lab.
So firstly, they entrapped me with my purchase as they didn't advertise the oversized plates as out of stock and neither was I told when making the purchase (if I knew they were out of stock I'd have gone elsewhere to purchase them or even purchase a different size so i had them in time for my daughters birthday) I had to find out 14 days later. They answered 3 of my 15 emails over the course of a 3 week period and then was ignored. I then received a delivery from them 4 and a half weeks after initial purchase and then the delivery was incorrect.
The company is a joke and I would advise any of you prospective customers to make your purchase from any other company than PL8 Lab where I'm sure you will be treated far better.

Ordered a set of plates yesterday and haven’t received any confirmation of the order which is quite worrying…

Looking at previous reviews, I’m not feeling too confident. Do I wait a while or just get a refund - I don’t know!

Edit: very quickly rectified my issue after threatening to open a PayPal case and leave a bad review, new plates sent to me 2 days later

ORDERED OVER 7 TIMES WITH THEM WILL NEVER AGAIN

Sent me incorrectly spaced plates and stated if I want the right plates remade I have to destroy the plates they sent me and send me a photo.

I asked if they wanted me to return the incorrect item and they said they would just bin it if I did.

So I said I would keep the plates as a spare - they told me if I want to do that I won’t get the replacement for the correct item.

Makes no sense. I’ve ordered from them over 7 times yet they can’t resolve one small issue. Awful company

Ordered gel number plates from Pl8lab on their easy to use website. Followed up quickly from the company with a confirmation of the order. Plates arrived quickly and to my absolute delight I realised the plates were pressed aluminium with gel letters and numbers. The plates look amazing and are really good quality. Brilliant service from these guys. I ordered 2 sets of plates instead of one and within half an hour of sending the guys a message they had gave me my refund of the extra set i ordered. Plates arrived in a few days and were excellent. Definitely would shop here and recommend
