Can't fault this company, applied for loan, got details quickly about requirements, id needed and as quick as i was sending them they were just as quick processing, loan was complete within 3 days. Very happy with service and responses to emails i had sent and would highly recommend them.

Very disappointing
Very disappointing - flagged as approved on a loan search. 8 days to set up on the system, after a number of chases, including providing access to bank account. Credit check passed then failed on affordability- as others have pointed out why do a hard credit search when you have all the information prior to a credit check to make a decision on affordability? Also as others have ponted out the loan would have provided a monthly saving (for me £350+) so very affordable!

Made a withdrawal today at 11am way before there our dated time of 2pm it says it’s been complete however still hasn’t went into my bank this is my money they gets payed into my save that is now missing and shock they are closed till the morning now, they have slowly went down hill I will be closing my account permanently soon

I was a member of Harlow save credit…
I was a member of Harlow save credit union for several years and have had many same day loans borrowing against my savings and never any questions asked. The loans were cheap, affordable loans and I have never missed a payment. However, they changed their name to plain saver and the last loan I took out, for £1,900 and over a year gone by and I'm still not even half way. They have charged £760 on top in interest. They have also charged service fees. For what, I don't know and some dividend I know nothing about. This is supposed to be a non profit making company. Is that a joke? That amount of interest is extortion. In the past few months, I applied for another loan and to consolidate my debts but every time I have applied, I have been turned down. So now have nothing anywhere that even comes close to the credit union. I am going to pay off the loan and withdraw all my savings as there is no comparison between plain saver to the credit union. It seems that anything useful for people in less fortunate criteria, is made even more unfortunate by having no access to anything that can better gained for them. Making people even more miserable than they are because they can't get loans.

Poor customer service and poor decision making
Nearly a week went by asking all sorts of questions, completed all necessary links etc. To be then declined stated due to affordability which made no sense as the loan was saving me nearly £250 a month.
Yet they completed a hard search on my credit file which was not needed if this was down to affordability. Appealed and declined very very poor customer service. If you can I would shop elsewhere for a loan and avoid this company

Shockingly poor service
Shockingly poor service. I had been a member of Harlowsave for 20+ years and it really helped me turn my finances around to the extent where we were able to save up for a deposit and move out of private renting. However, Harlowsave were taken over by Planesaver (i even voted for it in the members meeting). I applied for a loan to replace a bathroom suite. They replied quickly and asked if i wished to consolidate other borrowing. I thought i'll see what you can offer because i could pay down debt more quickly and increase my savings. What a mistake, it was a long drawn out process in which i had to give access to my bank accounts, was asked to upload information to links that weren't provided and then came back with an offer that was higher APR than existing debt. i told them i wasn't interested in consolidating but was still interested in a quote for my home improvement loan. After all that rigmarole they declined. The email contained facile advice about maximising income/managing debt etc. I've never been so insulted. What a joke. i could have gotten the home improvement loan in a few clicks online with guaranteed acceptance instead of being messed around for days. I am withdrawing my savings and you have lost a customer

Added stress and little to show
Recently applied for a debt consolidation loan from these guys and while they are generally professional it still took around a week and half for a crushing decline. If you're going to say no anyway why even provisionally say yes?
I accept my scores are fair rather then good but when told I can't afford to pay a debt consolidation loan that would likely have been lower then what I have been paying is galling.
In this regard I can only consider my time used in my application as a waste and while seemingly boilerplate the offer to join anyway seems like an unfortunately timed slap in the face for who would ever take up such an offer?

Absolutely appalling service!
Absolutely apalling customer service!! The worst company ever! After getting access to my bank account and doing a hard search they let me know i have passed affordability test then wanting to know exactly what I was paying off and asking for account numbers and personal details of the loans I was paying back. Then i sent the requested documents and information and they have now declined!! Really regret dealing with this ridiculous company! It took them almost a month to do this.

My best option to save money
Since the first time I got in contact with Plane Saver, got a very kind and professional approach that at that time was to ask for a loan for tens of thousands, which I got without hesitation after submitting my application form, at the end, did not need the money and returned, now I am opening a Platinum account, which I think will suit perfectly to my interests
Your service is outstanding and the interest rate is much better that the one from the banks
