I recently did a foraging day with my husband. Both Graham and Natalie are wonderful teachers with such a depth of knowledge. I have already started to look at the hedgerows differently and tempted to book another in the autumn when the foliage is different.

A truly amazing experience, I learned so much from Graham over the weekend, new skills and an increased curiosity for our natural world! Which had me passing on my new found wisdom to friends and family with child like excitement.
Graham is extremely passionate and knowledgeable! It was just awesome 😎

This course is absolutely amazing! Graham is extremely knowledgeable and his camp has everything you need to learn in a comfortable, ‘outdoorsy’ environment. I recently attended the Advanced Bushcraft & Survival Course and I highly recommend it.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Day sat round an open fire under a parachute with a friendly group learning something new and appreciating the craft of wood carving, Did I manage to make a spoon like the others - not really but what I do have is my piece of birch art that makes me smile. Thank you Graham, great day and wild garlic scones very nice too.

I did the Axe Skills + Best Practice day on 5th March.
It was a great day - I was new to using an axe and learned a lot. Graham's skills, knowledge and experience are second to none, and were passed on to the group in a clear and accessible way. Came away feeling much more competent and confident as a result! Would definitely recommend.

Being in the beautiful woodland seeing the specimens of trees beats any text book or app!! The pre & post text of knowledge is teatime to the teaching method as Graham’s knowledge is vast & always interesting. The camp fire is a great place to meet, greet & get your know other like minded people.
Looking forward to my 4th visit in the Autumn!

Graham is hugely knowledgeable in all areas of bushcraft. While walking amongst the ancient forest of his training camp he incorporates interests historical facts alongside modern uses for trees, animals and plant life while teaching features to enable easy i.d.ing. This was the second course I've done with Graham and I have another booked in for later this year.

Me and my wife went for a Bow making weekend and it was amazing. We got lucky with the weather, had a great time in the woods, and ended building two really nice bow that we then learned to shoot.
Graham was an amazing instructor, very funny and always able to provide answers to all our questions. Definitely recommend and would do again.
Had a great day getting dirty and at one with nature. Graham is a fountain of knowledge. We ran over the course time by 1 1/2 hours but he was unfazed. Value for money without a doubt. Will be booking other courses 100%

Third course I’ve attended with Graham (Polaris Wilderness). All of them were excellent - wood carving, fire lighting, axe skills (most recently). Graham is very knowledgeable and friendly, with a clear passion for bushcraft. I highly recommend his courses.

Fabulous weekend for my husband and son (7). Lots of things like fire lighting and den building that they wouldn’t normally get the chance to do in a safe environment. Having never camped before we were lent a tent and stove and so able to participate in an amazing experience. Thank you guys.

This was a great experience one I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to trying carving. The instructor (Graham) made you welcome , relaxed and explained clearly about wood, and the safe use (with timely reminders) of the tools were using to carve with. The people around you will also be like minded, and a friendly bunch. Attend you will have a great day.

Absolutely brilliant day. I have zero interest in the outdoors and only came as my 9 y/o wanted to, but I found it that interesting that I could’ve stayed the whole weekend. My son loved it so much he wanted to stay forever! He learnt more in a 7 hour course than he has from a couple of years reading his survival books and watching YouTube videos. Graham is a top guy and great teacher. We highly recommend Polaris to anyone. 10/10 day. Thanks!

A fantastic experience and I learned a great deal. Graham has extensive knowledge in all things Bushcraft. From making an emergency shelter, tree identifications , animal tracks, and much much more.
What I realised about myself is that when in a wood or forest, I look around, but don’t see much. This course has changed that.
