Marino and Craig delivered my sofas today. They were great.

The whole experience from start to finish was stress free calming & supportive. The two delivery personnel, Marino & Craig were very personable, careful & competent, very impressed 👌

Just taken delivery of a 3 and 2 seat sofa, with the old one taken away. Marino and Craig were fab - ensuring everything was carried out safely and easily. They even put up with my very chatty 3 year old's distractions! Thanks, Ponsford, for a smooth process from the showroom to our living room. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I was particularly grateful for the accurate 2 hour delivery window.

I purchased a leather Himolla 3 piece suite In Nov.2013,form Ponfords very helpful salesman,Gavin,delivered to Gibraltar,excellent service in every way.I recently damaged the settee arm.Ylanda of Ponsfords organised some leather from the manufacturer which is now in my possession awaiting the upholsterer.Completely satisfied with Ponsford's After Sales Service

Our discussion regarding carpet options with Carl at the store was very helpful. He listened and understood what we were looking for. He was able to offer excellent advice about the products available, showing us samples leading to a complete change in what we expected to purchase. Instead of wool we went for a faux option, looks like sisal but much more practical. The taped edge on the stair runner gives a contemporary feel to an otherwise Edwardian hallway. The fitting team Graeme, Paul and Will did a great job, taking trouble to ensure solutions for any minor issues.
We are very happy with the service and how our carpet looks and feels.

Craigo and Marino delivered our chair on time and were very efficient and friendly.

Returning again to PONSFORDS this time ordering dining suite, sideboard unit and garden furniture. Suraj as always, was there to guide, advise and support our purchases. We were offered complimentary drinks by Suraj so that he could check that all the items we were ordering were available. Unfortunately the Cafe (on the top floor - you need to visit next time!) had actually just closed. Regardless, Denise, the lovely lady working in the Cafe reopened and immediately served us two hot drinks with a smile and a lovely chat. Denise is an absolute credit to this fabulous business and made our shopping experience even more special. She went above and beyond to help us and offered us exemplary customer service! Thank you Denise. I do hope you receive some well deserved recognition for your act of kindness on Thursday 20th February!

Della and Georgia were really helpful when we were choosing our sofas. Their knowledge of the products was second to non which helped us in choosing the right sofas for us to suit our lifestyle.

Just had 3 bedroom carpets fitted. Purchased from Ponsfords who couldn’t have been more helpful and informative.
Graeme and Will were the fitters. They were brilliant, did a fantastic job and went above and beyond to make sure they did a perfect job.
More than happy with both Ponsfords and the fitters.
Wouldn't go anywhere else for future carpets and furniture.

Great service in store from Mary, & the delivery team of Rob and Marino were careful, courteous and friendly when they brought our Stressless chair into our home today.

Unfortunately we had issues with a Stressless sofa bought directly from Ponsford. We couldn't have received better customer care than what we received from Ylanda at Ponsford. Her responses were always prompt and informative, we were always kept in the loop. We are now the owners of a new sofa, all sorted out by Ylanda. Can't recommend Ponsford enough!

Gavin made buying a settee an enjoyable experience.
Knew the answer to all the most obscure questions and dealt with the whole purchasing experience in the most professional manner.

Amazing choice of carpets! Carl at Ponsfords was really helpful, pointing out choices we would never have considered. He came out to measure, and the fitters were fantastic. Not one of our walls is straight, so it was a complex job. The team were so professional. Would recommend unreservedly!

We were overawed by the range and variety of styles of sofas and chairs, but had an idea of some criteria for our needs. We were guided by Suraj, who helped us find exactly what we were looking for, and then rested with a cuppa in the cafe while Jonathan and Suraj put together our order. We were extremely well looked after and recommend the service at Ponsford very highly.

I suppose this review is more about service than a place. Ponsfords is a large and really diverse (styles) furniture store in Sheffield. Located on a busy main road but with a small amount of of street parking it is easily accessible.
All the furniture is well presented and is "zoned"into genre or makes.
The newer building has the modern styles in and is really accessible. The older building feels smaller (cosier?) due to the age of the building and the lighting.
Our experience and decision to buy was down to the service from a guy called Gavin. Polite, patient, personable, understanding but also accepted some honest feedback about our experience. There were certain frustrations with interruptions, possibly me being not the most tolerant....
Would I buy from there again. Yes if they had what I was looking for.
(Just had the sofa and chair delivered and the delivery guys couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful.)
