Our initial in store visit and planning/measuring consultation by Karl was excellent he was so knowledgeable and honest about the type of carpet we should choose. Then today's fitting team of Stuart, Paul and Will were an absolute pleasure they explained every step of the fit in detail and their quality and skills of carpet fitting were the best we have every experienced. We will be using Ponsfords for any future carpets without a doubt. Thank you all we are delighted!

We fell in love with a table and chairs as we walked through the door but we toured the showrooms and seriously looked at other options. Bilal was great at giving us all the details of the alternative option.
Gavin and Luwam were great at answering all our questions and taking the order.

Graeme, Stuart and Will fitted my lounge carpet and l am delighted. Ponsfords never fail, top quality carpet, very professional service from the team in store and the fitters. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family, friends and colleagues.

The lads were straight into the job, moved all the furniture out of the bedroom & fitted the bedroom & stair carpet with in no time at all.

Ponsford has a large and very well-appointed showroom over 3 floors. There are staff around but there is no pressure to buy, just a polite greeting and offer of help if needed.
I had visited 3 days ago to enquire about sofas suitable for smaller people with short legs and Sarah was extremely helpful. She took me up to the top floor where there were examples of suitable sofas and I sat on a few. Sarah spent time giving me information explaining about fabric options. I left with a brochure and returned with my husband today.
The showroom is very pleasant away from the Christmas crowds, there is a cafe and there are staff available to answer any queries. Andrew was contacted to come and help us and we had a very satisfactory experience, He was friendly, knowledgeable and had plenty of time to show us the options and talk us through the costs, treatment of fabrics, delivery etc. We decided to buy one sofa and order another then Andrew took us to the accounts section to pay a deposit.
We would thoroughly recommend visiting Ponsfords for a pleasant and rewarding experience.

The staff always display an extensive knowledge of their products and Hakima did not disappoint. She was extremely patient and helpful as she gently nudged us towards a decision.

Graeme was prompt, efficient and very hard working. He set about his task in a very workman like fashion, did a brilliant job and left the rooms he had recarpeted (stairs, landing and hall) very clean after finishing the carpet fitting. Highly recommended

The whole Ponsford team were superb. Firstly with the expert advice and recommendations from Karl, and then the care and attention to detail from Graeme, Stuart and Will. They went above and beyond and even trimmed an adjacent stair carpet that they noticed wasn’t correct. Super tidy and polite. Couldn’t recommend them more. Well done.

Having had numerous carpets fitted over the years by the Ponsford team, I’ve never looked elsewhere due to the exceptional service from start to finish. The fitting team are always punctual, courteous and pay close attention to every detail. Highly recommended.

Graeme and Stuart fitted our carpet today with great attention to detail and amazing customer service. It looks fantastic! Both lovely people.

Excellent service from the carpet department. Karl and Andrew have a great deal of experience, and gave us good advice that was much appreciated. Also like to thank them for their patience.

Carpet fitters Graeme, Stuart, and Will did a very neat job coping well with some uneven borders and the carpets look great. They kept us informed with fitting options and arrived on time. Friendly and extremely hard working.

Another great job by Will, Stuart and Graham that’s bedrooms and living room done so far by these lads each room perfect still got hall and stairs to come Can’t go wrong when choosing Ponsfords. All the best to Graham for is upcoming retirement at Christmas

Purchased a 3 piece suite from Ponsford
and took delivery today. I was notified of ETA and contacted regularly. Steve and Tom were very polite, friendly and respected my property and furniture throughout the delivery placing dust sheets where necessary on my carpet and over the suite as they carried it from the van to my home. My old suite was taken away and the new one positioned where I requested. Thank you to you both and to salesperson Caroline along with staff at Ponsford who I have spoken to on the telephone throughout the process, all very pleasant and helpful.

Always end up spending more than I intended.
Got a good deal on a Tempur bed and mattress but then got drawn to a display settee and two seater chair which were also on a good deal, so bought them as well!

From Carl, in the Carpet Department, to Graeme and Stuart, who came to fit our bedroom carpet, the service we received from Ponsfords was excellent. Carl went out of his way to ensure our carpet was fitted around the timings for decorators, wardrobe fitting etc. He always had time to talk through carpet choice and how it should be fitted and has a great attention to detail. Graeme and Stuart courteously phoned ahead to check it was ok to fit the carpet, they worked very hard and diligently and kindly cleared up after themselves even vacuuming the carpet for us.
