Has anyone ordered the portabello chaise sofa from Sofology? Does it have a seam going across the seat?
I can't recall the showroom one having a seam across the seat. It doesn't look right and makes it more prone wear and tear faster. Are they all made this way. They sent a replacement seat cover after I queried it and the replacement has the same issue. Thank you

I had a mixed experience with Portabello. While the quality and style of their furniture impressed me, along with a timely delivery that actually arrived a week earlier than expected, there were some communication hiccups. Initially, I faced some challenges getting the right item and reaching out, as the wrong item was delivered, but to their credit, the company resolved the issue swiftly with a replacement cushion within three days. Despite these minor setbacks, their product quality stood out, and I’m pleased with my purchase. Overall, I would recommend Portabello, especially if you can deal directly with them for better service.
Never received my sofa
Never received my sofa, they didn’t contact me or tell me about my order. I ended up having to go to the bank to claim my money back. Shocking company
Short changed
Ordered a 1694 chair to match the sofa I had purchased in January/February, as I was extremely happy with the sofa and general service. Unfortunately, the chair delivered was not the correct size as advertised (2 inches shorter in both height and depth) so I requested a replacement. The company promised me they would send a replacement by the end of July but as yet they have still not replaced it and are now avoiding any communication. I've been forced to contact the credit card company to request a full refund.
Quality of products is outstanding
Quality of furniture is superb, hand made, excellent customer service, delivery driver amazing, would thoroughly recommend and have bought from Portabello twice now

I am absolutely disgusted & would definitely not recommend this company!!! My dad passed away but he stated in his will for me to buy the settees of my dreams which was a chesterfield so I went to Portabello for a bespoke settee!! It came the wrong colour as I was sent the wrong sample also the beading was wrong & also the feet!!! So all in all a complete shambles. I paid my money and now I’m getting no response so looks like this will be going legal!!!!! Very Unhappy & major let down :(

I ordered a Milano Chesterfield sofa in bolero brown leather. The quality is fantastic and I will be ordering a matching chair soon.

The contact number given by the sales doesn't exist. So you cannt contact anyone about the update. I am just praying that my soda actually arrives, which I doubt it will.
This company is not worth buying anything at all, it will just cause panick and lot of headache. I wish I purchased the sofa from somewhere else.

I bought a 3 seater Milano sofa over a year ago and it's still in great shape! The mrs wanted velvet and to be fair even with this material it's stood up to a busy household with plenty of visitors. Looks just as good today as when we first bought it. Would highly recommend this company

Sofa is lovely quality but delivery was terrible. They didn't give any notice they were coming ad were really rude and unhelpful.
BEWARE of the small print when dealing with Portabello
Chesterfield arrived and had been made incorrectly which the company admitted and offered a replacement which we refused and requested a refund which the company refused. They also refused to collect the faulty sofa. Subsequently found out that because Portabello use a payment aggregator (STRIPE) that American Express wouldn’t cover the cost, we gave the sofa to charity and lost £902.

Great quality sofa
Great quality sofa. I love it. The website is very professional and the quality is fab. However, communication wasn't great. Customer Service after the delivery date had been and done with no delivery in sight was unapologetic - to the point where they refused to apologise saying instead that 'words don't really mean anything' I think his name was Gary or Gavin? The delivery team were even worse trying to charge me extra for having to take it around the back. This is such a shame because those aspects let down my experience.

I am really pleased with my sofa! I love the fabric, colour and shape, and it feels premium!
We made sure to order a fabric sample first, having struggled to find the right combination of colour and fabric quality/durability with other brands we had looked at. This one really works, the fabric feels pleasant and we love the colour.
It's comfortable!
Delivery was a couple of weeks later than originally anticipated and communication about this was not proactive but Adam was responsive to emails which was reassuring.

Ordered a 3 seater sofa - absolutely delighted with it. Fabric, quality of build etc all excellent. Good timely communication from company when I queried delivery to. Would recommend.

Very happy with product (ottoman) but it arrived later than expected and first delivery date was missed. Good company that is producing good products but needs to sort out their terrible delivery company. I’ve ordered twice now and both times the product was good but the delivery service terrible,
