The company did not communicate the pickup day or time with either of us each end. I happened to phone up 9am Monday 11th because we hadnt heard anything. The man said that the collection team were only 1.5hrs away from the lady who I had bought wheelchair off! She had to cancel her hair appointment which was non-refundable costing her £125. This was really not on at all. She should be reimbursed. I plan to complain further about this.

Bought a bike on eBay which was miles away from home, it turned out to be easier to get these guys to collect and deliver the same day. collected on time, and got an SMS to let me know all was good.

I managed to get Shehzad at very short notice having been totally let down by Anyvan who did not tell me that they had no driver. He was prompt and communication was excellent. Helped with unloading too. Price was amazing given the short notice.

I would have given 5 stars if the delivery tracking was a bit more efficient. However package was still traceable by contacting the delivery driver.

The pick up was late but I appreciated that the courier worked until very late to carry out the job. Communication was excellent!

More expensive (with all the add-ons) than some other sites/service providers but communication was good, they were keen to assist and be flexible so it was worth paying extra.

This was a prompt service. The driver was courteous, arranged pick up and delivery times in a timely manner and also kept us informed of any changes to the route. Overall excellent experience. Would definitely use this service again and highly recommend it,

Was easy to set up and arrange. Organised collection and delivery times on the same day :) my motorcycle was collected from 167 miles away. No damage and securely stored.

The website was so easy to navigate when booking the return of an unused bath tub. This was the largest item I have had to arrange a return and pay for myself.

My allocated moving partner collected the item on the agreed date/time and confirmation of the delivery was sent on the same day with a photograph. My refund has been processed from the online retailer the bath was being returned to.

I would have no hesitation using Porta Delivery again and would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience using Porta. I received live updates on whatsapp for the collection and delivery. I bought an item on Facebook marketplace and the app even had the option to pay card and the couriers to pay the cash on collection (which I did not need to use but is a fantastic idea). In terms of timing, they were comfortably within the scheduled window, and delivered the item to me far ahead of the agreed schedule.

I will definitely be using them again.

I booked these guys to collect a van towbar from Southampton and bring it to me near Bristol. I wanted to keep the cost down, so gave them a 2 week window - they collected the next morning, then delivered it to me a couple of days later when they were heading in this direction. Fully insured service cost me £75 which, considering it was 30kg of awkward shaped load, I thought was very fair.
The courier was extremely polite, friendly, kept me up to date with progress so I knew exactly what time to expect him - he wasn't even phased by being stuck behind the binmen on our narrow road for 10 mins before he could get to my house.
If I'd paid twice the price I genuinely don't think I could have had a better service. I've saved the Porta app in my phone as my new go-to for awkward size and larger item deliveries.
