Very disappointing

Very disappointed in dress. It arrived smelling strongly of cigarette smoke and a button fell off as soon as I opened the package. The dress had a high split that was not shown in photos and I had to return. It’s now been over a week since i returned the dress and i have not received any update or response from them. Very disappointing I was excited to try this company

Horrendous service and customer service follow

This is what the customer service rep sent me as a reply
"Thank you for contacting Porterist!

I regret to inform you that there has been a delay in the production of your order. I understand how disappointing and frustrating it can be to wait for something you were eagerly looking forward to. I apologize for the inconvenience you caused! Your order will be shipping out tomorrow, December 12th.

1. Order was placed on Nov 29th and 7 while business days elapse until I emailed them for a status update which they then stated there was a production delay. Would they have been proactive and follow up with me if I hadn't inquired after the 7 business days?
2. They're apologizing for the inconvenience that I caused?! That's how they respond to they're customers? Wow!
3. They state the the order will ship tomorrow on December 12th, but they sent me the reply on December 9th. How's that supposed to work? I don't get it.

Just a fair warning to others who are thinking of ordering from them and lack of customer focus and attention to detail.

Great Customer Service

I mistakenly ordered 2 of the same dress and customer service took care of it right away. The selection, price, shipping, and service were awesome. The product came in a couple of days and the tracking information was updated regularly.

It’s a very difficult return policy

It’s a very difficult return policy. Getting in touch with a separate email, asking for a return, being sent a return code, returning the item and waiting 2-3 weeks for your money back. Not ideal at all.
