Practice Portuguese is a great, effective resource for learning Portuguese. It has great resources available and very helpful and professional support staff. The mix of content, including the grammatical and linguistic content, the exercises and the short stories are very effective in helping the learner to better understand the subject. Highly recommended.

An excellent website — on all platforms — To learn European Portuguese. I’ve tried a few and they don’t compare. Really well structured, amazingly responsive with questions, with all sorts of different devices to help you understand, remember and practice. Fun, too!

Really comprenhensive and fun app / website for learning EU Portuguese. I'd done a course of in person group lessons in PT as well as tried Duolingo before coming across PP and have to say I much prefer PP. It's easy to work through and the smart reviews are really effective. I love that it's a small company with a responsive team and the podcasts with the founders are super fun and engaging. It's also priced really competitively. I've just finished A1 and will be continuing hopefully to B2!

The app has helped me tremendously in my Portuguese studies and the support team has been incredibly responsible and helpful every time I've had a question.

I am enjoying learning Portuguese but writing and grammar are a little beyond my requirments.

Brilliant site, Portuguese from Portugal. Try a lesson every morning at breakfast, it is fun and instructive. Returning to the Algarve every January I am looking forward to trying my new skill and greeting Portuguese friends. Having lived in the Algarve over fifty years ago after many happy return visits I am delighted at finding this excellent aide for renewing my lost language

The best resource for learning European Portuguese that exists out there! I'm a big fan of learning languages, so I've used a lot of books, websites, apps, and other resources to study and this is by far the best one. I love its logical structure and flexibility for choosing any lesson of any level without the need to complete all the previous units before. Flash cards are a fantastic feature that helped me so much to memorize all those new words, also shorties, and grammar explanations are super useful. And all this for a very reasonable price! Greatly recommend!

PP is brilliant; very comprehensive, lots of varied examples, audio and video, and offers sentences and not only collections of words. There are also explanations, and mostly their Review engine is essential for memorising the language

Similar to the bird-themed language app, but better! The focus on a single language and very nice language notes bring this app to a much higher level. Clearly a labor of love.

This site is fun, organized and encouraging for all levels of learners. I am married to a Portuguese husband for 22 years and visit there yearly. When I met my hubby there was no opportunity to learn Euro Portuguese. I took Brazilian Portuguese since that was the only option in Los Angeles at the time. When I went to Portugal for the first time my husband's family barley understood me, but thought the effort was cute. I still wanted to learn, so over the years I just tried my best to learn when around people who spoke. The result was not solid. A new friend who loves to learn languages just shared PracticePortuguese.com. OMG!!!!!!!! I'm so happy to have this resource to take me to the next level of fluid learning. We will retire there in about 8 years, so I'm Super excited to be able to become fluent as I practice here in Los Angeles with all the great resources this site and app have to offer. The only thing will be now to get Portuguese natives to speak to me in Portuguese , since they all love to practice English.

If you have already picked up some Portuguese this is a good program for reviewing your knowledge. If you haven't picked up any this is a good place to start. The program is well organized and has helpful tips throughout. The only negative part is that it takes a long time to get your membership. Hopefully that will change

Excelent website with lots of ways to learn and improve. You hear different people speaking Potuguese which is more realistic than always having the same voice. It has a good mix of grammar and regular practice. It has vídeos for different levels of knowlege and much more. I wish I had spent my first 6 months with this site, even though you have to pay instead of using a free app.
