All the paperwork Premier supplied…
All the paperwork Premier supplied stated Premier Kitchen and Bedrooms so I am posting here even though it was my bathroom!
My advice stay clear. The design meant I couldn't open the vanity unit drawers, and they wanted to charge me extra to move it where it would be usable I was told I had signed off on design, after all I contracted Premier to Design, supply and fit, They are allegedly the experts, but if a Premier designer and 2 Premier Surveyor didn't realise, is it fair I should have?, The vanity was eventually moved, without further payment and fitted under a window but annoyingly off centre Withing a few hours of my full payment they postponed the installation day for a week. For the first week 4 out of the 5 days were no shows without notice,.and when they finally came they removed the old bathroom suit and I never saw them again for 4 days. Plasterboard was used for the floor although half has now been replaced it still remains under the bath which sinks under the weight . The light supplied to go over bath was only IP20. The extractor fan was moved by the fitter and is not fit for use, The mirror is permanently steamed up and the steam sets off the smoke alarm if you do not shut the door quickly upon leaving. The extractor fan was originally left for 10 days venting into my roof space when fitted by the electrician. The door did not fit in the frame and Premiers remedy was to pack out the hinges. The door furniture I supplied went missing and replacements are badly fitted. The wall tiles are wonky and the sealant all round the bath is so uneven and it pulls away further when you half fill the bath .the shower was installed upside down, They left me with a leaking radiator. Paint was taken from my shed and used.,screws keep popping out of the ceiling and need repair/repainting. After 6 weeks of a 6 day installation the fitter quit stating he wasn't being paid.. 3 more months down the line I am waiting for them to replace the sealant.It was the single biggest cost in my new home and supposed to have the Wow factor instead I spend as little time in there as possible.
Refurb of kitchen
Refurb of kitchen - replacement of doors and drawer frontage. Extremely helpful in deciding format of changes to kitchen. Looked at various virtual options before deciding on the final configuration. All staff, from design staff who happily changed configuration to joiners who actually did the job were highly professional. Can't believe how the kitchen has been transformed. Many thanks. Much appreciated.

Whilst the quality of products seems…
Whilst the quality of products seems good (albeit at the higher end of the prices out there) the installation team was not undertaken by Premier employees. This was one of many reasons why we had numerous issues and problems along with the original sales advisor incorrectly advising us we could have what we wished for when indeed that wasn’t possible.
Lots of the issues could have been simply rectified but the customer service support is very poor resulting in many calls and emails made by myself some of which were ignored I tried to follow the complaints procedure but the emails to the person and also the managing director were ignored. It has taken over 5 months to get issues resolved and that’s only because of my constant contact with them. At no point have we had an apology or acknowledgement of our request for compensation My advice would be to AVOID using Premier at all costs if you want a stressfree new kitchen or bathroom installed

Really poor Customer Service
Really really poor service in particular Customer Service Team in Peterborough.
We visited the Wellingborough Showroom in October 2018 for a new kitchen and were informed it could be ready for Christmas 2018. We decided for the works to commence on 31 December and all works were not completed until May 2019!
Numerous problems, incorrect door delivery, damage doors, no one seemed to know about the boiler doors which we were quoted for. On one occasion we demanded someone from Premier visit the premises to have a look to see what needed doing as Customer Services seemed incapable of understanding/rectifying this for us. A gentleman turned up and when we asked his role/job title was unable to answer. His visit proved to be a waste of time as he was asking us what we were going to do about the covering for the soil pipe and boiler covering and generally walking around the kitchen rubbing his chin! We asked what are Premier going to do! Eventually things got rectified some weeks later when Premier eventually hired a project manager who came out and managed to get things sorted!
Other major problems which occurred and were a constant battle with Customer Service to resolve:
Worktop not drilled for waste disposal;
the glass splash was measured incorrectly so had to go back to the factory for a new one, we then got a call about 3 to 4 weeks later saying it would be fitted the following week, only to then receive a call the day before saying they had lost it! We asked how can they lose a 2.5 metre long piece of glass? Eventually it was found and were asked by Customer Services if we could help fit it, because there was only one fitter! At this point we complained and they managed to find someone help the fitter;
On one occasion we had a contractor ringing us to ask if we were happy with the work he carried out as Premier were refusing to pay him so we got onto Customer Service as to why they would not pay him for the work he undertook? This should never have been an issue as we had paid upfront in full (to value of just over £25,000) and the rude lady in Customer Service said she could not discuss it with us. We said when you have contractors ringing you it is her job to address us in a professional manner;
Customer Services make/cancel appointments without consulting us. We cannot count how many occasions we were in waiting for workmen fitters only to find they had been cancelled without no one informing us;
We have lost numerous days from work because of Customer Service inabilities to inform and keep us updated;
The only positive is the good quality materials and the fitters were absolutely outstanding.
The CEO of Premier Kitchens and Bedrooms needs to send the Customer Services Team on extensive training as their attitudes of putting phones down, their rude tones, sarcasm, don’t care attitude, general lack of understanding contract works are not good for business.
Poor, very very poor Customer Services Team

A big thank you for all team
A big thank you for all team.
The fitters Steve, Jake and Beccy were very quick on assembling all the furniture and did a excellent job. We are very pleased with the end result, it is exactly as we vision.
We were able to create a big wardrobe with lots of storage and cover the boiler, all designed so it can be serviced.
Overall a good experience and would recommend to anyone who wants to create there own wardrobe.

Work excellent; scheduling delay disappointing
The tradesmen were good and the resulting kitchen is excellent. However, minor snags delayed completion till after we were away for a week, and getting the schedule restarted took longer than we expected, which was a bit disappointing.

The alarm bell should have rung when…
The alarm bell should have rung when the contract required full payment before installation. After agreeing an installation date they were unable to perform part of the pre-installation work that had been agreed but they merely pressurised me not to have the work done. I had some stressful days finding my own contractor to do the pre-installation work so it was possible to meet the date.
Something came up that mean that I was going to have an unavoidable commitment during the installation but they would not change the date and so I had to be out on one of the installation days. When I came home I discovered that the wrong worktops had been installed, which I could have spotted if I had been there. Their first approach was to try to get me to accept the wrong worktops, but when I would not do so they conceded that they had to replace the wrong ones.
The subcontract fitter then had a row with Premier and nearly walked off the job because they wanted him to pay for the replacement worktops (his contract meant he had to pay for any mistakes). They had delivered the wrong item which he had dutifully installed.
What I did not realise for some time was that when he was cutting the replacement worktops, a corner joint got chipped but he repaired it with some filler. The joint is right by the sink and so is often wet. It was only months later that this repair started to become apparent as the filler discoloured but when I asked for an acceptable repair or replacement they told me that I should have seen it before signing off the job.
After numerous exhanges of letters I decided to explore their offer of replacing it "at cost" just to get the matter closed. The price turned out to be was more than it would cost me to replace all the worktops in the kitchen with a similar worktop.
The quality of a company shows most in how they handle problems. Premmier were appalling.
We are delighted with our kitchen

Thank you.

Besides a hiccup with a wrong sized door this was remedied in a couple of weeks. So much cheaper than a lot of their rivals with better finishing.

Premier Kitchens & Bedrooms Ltd
The installation tradesmen were excellent overall, but the liaison with us by the Premier Customer Services left a lot to be desired. Days when tradesmen were not scheduled to be present on our premises were not communicated leading to extreme frustration on our part. The total installation period was close to twice the original figure given by the Premier Salesman when we signed the contract.

Amazing kitchen from a great company
We have a fabulous new kitchen-dining room thanks to the talented team at Premier Kitchens. We are thrilled with the finished project that has transformed our house downstairs. Everyone who sees it admires the workmanship and quality. We chose Premier as a family member and a friend had both been very pleased with their Premier kitchen.
From our first visit to the showroom, Jonathan's (salesman) home visit and brilliant planning, final decision meeting, building work, electrical work, kitchen installation, flooring and snagging - through to the finished project we have been impressed with the professionalism and expertise of everyone involved. Ours was a big project with a structural wall to be removed with RSJ's to be installed etc to a 50 year old house. Inevitability there were problems and issues that needed to be addressed as the project progressed. Premier did this efficiently in most instances, but delays did occur which we knew before the project started was likely to happen. All the workmen that had our keys to enter while we were at work were excellent - always clearing up and keeping the site tidy - never once putting anything at all in our bins. Their workmanship and professionalism has been brilliant throughout - particular mention to Craig (builder), Steve (fitter) and Matt (flooring) who were first class. Was everything perfect - well no, not quite. Sometimes the delays were longer than we would have liked and communication was sometimes less than excellent. The three/four week project took seven weeks to complete. However, throughout the project the ladies on Customer Care were always helpful, courteous and tried hard to rectify any issues.
Overall - we have a fabulous finished kitchen that we are thrilled with and would happily recommend Premier Kitchens to our friends.
Thanks for our super, modern, airy kitchen.

Do not buy a kitchen from Premier Kitchen, shabby workmanship and very poor customer service!
The rating asked us to select a star and we had to select one by default, but this company deserves no stars. We invested £25K in a new kitchen including all the up to date kitchen appliances, and even after 3 1/2 years, the kitchen is still not fully functional. A small appraisal of Premier Kitchen workmanship: burst hot water pipes as a result scolding my wife’s feet, electric detached without the engineer disconnecting them – they did not realise there was electrics in the unit when taking the unit down. Faulty oven creating a fire, cooker extraction unit not extracting and was told it is only for purely aesthetics after the sale, dishwasher was damaged during installation but failed to tell us. Light on lower plinths with engineer called out 5 times to have them reconnected…still waiting!
Worst of all after 3 ½ years later all of the side panels have all delaminated! We were told by Premier Kitchen that delamination was only related to side panels and not unit doors, however, we were informed by their engineers that many customers have experienced this issue and we are aware of a family in Corby to have experienced this problem. Premier Kitchens are Full of lies and deceit we challenged this with Premier Kitchens and their customer service denied all liability or knowledge. On the new panels received from Premier Kitchen, they stated the warranty started from when we purchased the kitchen which was 3 ½ years, their 10 year guarantee they promote is not worth the paper it is written on.
I have been in business for nearly 30 odd years and I have never experienced such poor customer service, it is non-existent in their case, they just don’t care. The main reason for poor customer service is the fact they cannot keep their staff for two minutes, every time you write to their customer service you have a new person responding, I tested this by ringing them and guess what I was right. Furthermore, you get a different fitter every visit and they are very willing to explain Premier Kitchen short comings...!
I really wanted to write a positive review as we like our kitchen but trying to get anything resolved after installation is near non- impossible!
The main issues we have with this company is shocking, customer service and shoddy workmanship
I have personally written to the Managing Director 149 times without a single response……this just explain Premier Kitchen Customer Service policy
After 3.5 years It's a shame I have to post this review, but I've given Premier every feasible opportunity to put things right and it still hasn't happened
To be completely honest my worse experience was our friends visited our home and was so impressed with our kitchen, they went and purchased a kitchen from premier Kitchens and now they have the same nightmare
What I want from this review is that the Managing Director finally has the decency to pick the phone up and accept his company has over last 3.5 years grossly underperformed and give us a commitment to finally resolved all these issues.
If this is reciprocated I will not write another post, but I want the matter finally dealt with.
The BIGGEST mistake I have made is not…
The BIGGEST mistake I have made is not reading the reviews before stepping into the showroom. Full of lies and deceit, the dates have changed 3 times now and everyone I speak to in the company has a different story each time I speak with them.
They seem to have a weird idea of a "functional kitchen" so they can move designs and timelines around without even letting you know. Its so difficult to get the right person to speak to and when you do, they will promise to call back but that will never happen.....So unprofessional and the worse purchase for me ever!
UPDATE Following reply from Premier Kitchen
------------------------
It is a pity and really worrying, the lies continue on here; you have just mentioned on your reply that I should contact you on 01733295561, but Mark promised to call on Friday 3 pm and has not called till date. I have called several times to speak to him but get pushed around with lies as usual. I have the documents you sent to me with timelines. How has the template date changed from 09052019 as in the signed document? No clear information on changed dates and till date there is no idea on when the walls will be tiled. I have missed several days of work and I cannot even get the right person to talk to and still with an uncompleted kitchen. The worse experience ever!!!

Very happy
We requested a total makeover of our kitchen, and actually got something that was better than we expected. Premier saved us a lot of money with their suggestions, before we had new units and facilities fitted by the very friendly Darrell. The room now seems bigger and certainly lighter, and is also far easier to clean. We were so happy that we have also now moved onto our conservatory as well.

neat timely job
Turned up on time and did a very neat job. Slight delay on a couple of doors but this was sorted very quickly and we were kept informed of progress. Nice finished product too.

My shaker kitchen in beautiful…
My shaker kitchen in beautiful partridge grey & my sensational on-trend bathroom were both installed by PK&B in November 2017 by a great team of highly skilled craftsmen. Nothing was ever too much trouble to or for them. They showed great respect for the fact that I was still living in my house during the "remodelling!" Importantly, of course, the work was completed to timescale and to the agreed budget.
I particularly liked the fact that PK&B project-managed the entire contract from start to finish and provided ALL the specialist tradesmen who were all accountable to the Project Manager, via myself.
The kitchen & bathroom both still look as good as the day they were completed. I have been delighted with both ever since and every visitor to my house, without exception, passes highly favourable comment about the transformational nature of both installations.
I have recommended PK&B to my girlfriend who is presently looking to put in a huge kitchen and several bathrooms into her house in Harpenden. I am that confident about the quality of their product and workmanship!

Excellent product, but variable improving service. We would use again and hopefully be able to give 5 stars if 3.5 was possible we would have given an additional half.
We have had two fittings with this company over the last five years. I would say costumer service has improved since our kitten fit in 2013. Our kitchen still looks mostly brand new five years later and the cupboards are very good quality, expecting them to last at least another 10 as guarantee states. Our kitchen fit wasn’t smooth due to issues with supply of the sink but on the whole went well. The painter they supplied was not up to scratch however after complaint this was rectified. 5 years later we remain pleased with our kitchen, only issues are with areas not quite right at point of fit, job and splash back not properly sealed. Our tap recently discoloured and started leaking when I called the company they were helpful and explained how to contact the company who supplied the two, unfortunately the two supplier wasn’t so helpful and refused to accept that we hadn’t caused the problem with cleaning products and out the leak down to a faulty valve claiming we could replace ourselves and charging us 30 pounds for the part. Premier kitchens then helped us out fixing the tap (which just needed a new washer and seal and had perfectly functioning valves. Having regretted getting b and a to fit our bathroom we decided to give this company another go to fit our bedroom in June 2018 (this is when recurved help with the tap, after bedroom purchase) there was a mix up with colour of the cornice but this was quickly rectified and we had no problems other than a slight mark on a door and a little light flickering (I haven’t chased the company since reporting these issues after fitting yet, the biggest problem of the cornice was rectified with no need for chasing and for a bit the light had stopped flickering). Fitter was efficient and polite and our designer couldn’t do enough for us and really listened to what we wanted and gave advice that saved us money on unnecessary accessories. On bedroom service we would give premier a 4. Having had other companies fit kitchens bedrooms and bathrooms this has so far been the best we have used. Products made by premier are always excellent, issues with products have always been those they buy in: tap, under-sinks attached to door bin. Workmanship has also always been good I believe e the issues we have with sealant are due to design as the fitter sent to fix it said the seal would just come out again and he was right.
Overall excellent product and reasonable company with variable customer service which we think is improving.
