I have subscribed to Premier sports as it's the only way to get Pro 14 games. The service wasn't too bad to start with about 2 years ago but is steadily declining. I was able to get it on Freesat but that has now stopped again. I contacted customer Premier Sports customer services. They took all the details of my Sky box, asked me to restart it etc. but failed to make it work. Their final suggestion was to contact Sky and ask them to "recalibrate the satellite signal". I've tried all the Sky contact methods and there is no such option. So it sounds like that was a ruse to end the call.
So I am reduced to using my phone to cast via my Chromecast in order to not waste the (now £120!) annual subscription. This method of streaming service is irritating to say the least. Every few minutes it repeats about 5 seconds of broadcast. Then it will jump forward by a similar amount. Also, during a typical Rugby match it disconnects three or four times on average causing me to completely reset. I have no such problems streaming Amazon Prime, Netflix or BBC iPlayer so the only conclusion is that the fault lies with Premier Sports.

Like many I've also had £120 taken from my account while I was locked out my online account and there was no way to check renewal date, cost and options to cancel. No response from them for the past several weeks and I'm left with filing a chargeback from my credit card company. Not really sure how they think they can get away with robbing taxpayers money and hope they will go out of business ASAP.

Last year, I bought an NHL season pass for £49. I noticed that £120 had been debited from my bank account this year by Premier Sports. When I sent an email requesting a refund as I hadn't subscribed to the channels this year, I was informed that I had to contact them at least 15 days before the 'auto subscription' renewed. I was also informed that I couldn't be refunded as it wasn't a 'physical purchase', although it appears to me that it would be far easier to do so with a tv channel as they can block access with immediate effect. I have been informed that I cannot cancel and am stuck with it until next year! I have replied that I assumed that the NHL pass was a one-off purchase, there was no mention of auto subscription and that the fact that I paid £49 as opposed to £120 would imply that it was a one-off purchase. I have also made an official complaint about this, however I am yet to get a response. If I were you, I would avoid Premier Sports like the plague. They are a disgrace to TV broadcasting, employing underhand and deceitful methods to get your money. Their customer service department is condescending and unhelpful. They will do whatever it takes to take and keep your money.

Unacceptable behaviour by this company.

Try to manage sky account online. Told my Sky card is a duplicate VCN.

The short of it is, I now have 2 sets of payments coming off monthly and nobody has answered the 0333 0871 number for over a fortnight and no reply to emails.

Now escalating to BSkyB and my Card Company.

CONTRACT MISREPRESENTATION!! Two years ago the contract with PREMIER SPORTS was not a rolling contract so I did not cancel the subscription this year. I complained this was not fully specified during my renewal last year but only in a section of the terms of conditions. They replied cutting and paste always the same answer. Ridiculous. IF YOU HAVE A CONTRACT WITH THEM CANCEL IT ASAP. THEY WILL OFFER YOU SAME SUBSCRIPTION AT HALF OF THE PRICE IN FEW WEEKS. SCAMMMM

Purchased premier sports 2019 to watch Pro14 for one off payment of £80 or so I thought......Didn't get any email confirmation & could not log into the premier sports account, but the channel came on so thought all ok. In 2020 £120 was taken from my account by them. Tried calling the premium rate number, couldn't get through, tried logging into account, couldn't get in. So send an email, but not response within 5 days so tried calling again. Got through for them to tell me it is for new years subscription, told them I only paid for 1 year and didnt want it this year. I was told you should have read the terms and conditions with no refunds.
I told them I paid a one off payment for 2019 season but fell on deaf ears.
Avoid preimer sports not just for this reason, channel cuts out regularly, customer services shocking, website rubbish. Never again!!!!

Programmes change frequently with no excuses or are simply shown on both 1 and 2 channels simultaneously. Do not plan your day or rely on seeing a game via these people.

Premier Sports have not responded to my queries about billing. I find their platform clunky and difficult to navigate. As last year, so with this year, the game (Pro14 Rugby) keeps cutting in and out. They are a dreadful supplier and very unreliable. Sorry - it just doesn't work well at all.

I tried to subscribe to them today, but was unable to.

To put you off, they use a Premium Rate Number........and claim to provide excellent Customer Service.

I emailed Customer Services, and was amazed to get an immediate acknowledgement....................until I read it! Response will be 48 hrs, but not when they are busy or over weekends.(sic) The phone number provided in the automated response email, 03330033773, is currently not being answered, and refers the caller back to the website.
The design of this website is a shambles, and does not auger well for the future of this company.
They really need to get their act together....................but my advice is, AVOID if you can.
Remember Setanta? went bust ten years ago. It is the same people at the head of Premier Sports.

trying to resubscribe cannot get hold of Premier sports by phone website is not working either as cannot access my account. My email log in details have not changed yet it keeps saying login invalid.

I have also contacted the Ospreys to let them know as I am sure other supporters will be havig the same issues. Its false advsertising also advising the Ospreys will get £10 when you resubscribe.

This company keeps cancelling my service when I have an expiry date in November.
I cannot get responses despite emailing and calling for 4 days.
The phone service is now not accessible at all?
What on earth is going on.
I only took an annual policy to avoid repeated failures on monthly subscription.
Do the not have any real people ?

Absolutely neanderthal website. Can't subscribe though not sure that I want to given how appallingly bad their IT is. Or maybe they are trying to make me use their call line - which you get charged for. Not going to happen. Why did the Pro 14 get tied up with these imbeciles, their tarnishing your image.

I have tried cancelling but to no avail, they keep taking 5.99 monthly.

Thankfully I couldn't even sign up with this bunch! Wanted to watch the NHL playoffs so thought I'd sign up online - their online payment system won't accept the details for my Visa Debit (says accepts Visa debit, Visa, Mastercard, etc). Phone calls, either to premium rate or free numbers, as everyone else has said are essentially pointless. Their Twitter doesn't accept messages. Their customer services don't respond to emails. Thankfully I haven't been able to sign up, so I don't have to have the same fight to cancel! Wow....

Today £120 was taken from my account, I didnt know what this was for so i googled it and then found out it was for Premier Sports... which i had taken out last August 2019.. after ringing them and speaking to some guy who then got a "manager" to speak with me informed my that the payment was for the whole subscription for year 2020-2021. after i said i didnt want this years premier chanel she told me she would then cancel my subscription for next year.. what, i can only cancel a year in advance.. she kept telling me that i should read the terms and conditions where it states i must give 14+ days notice for cancelation before the end of this years contract.. this is robery to the highest, i asked was there not a cooling off period but was told that was only for new customers.. my god this is the worst setup ive ever came across.. never have anything to do with Premier Sports, they are robbers to the highest degree. they take a full years subscription out that i didnt even know i had and then only cancel 1 year later.. Watch dog is gonna look into this scandle. Stay away from them Scumbags.

I signed up for the free La Liga offer as I'm sure quite a few people did. Immediately had 2 separate 1p deductions, which I was wary about.

Fastforward to the end of the month when I logged in and cancelled- the thing about needing to log out of the app before signing into your account is the most ridiculous thing I've seen.

On the subject of ridiculous things, as I still hadn't received the 2p back- small amount I know, but I'm all about the principle- I contacted them via email despite them saying the email address was only for people who signed up via Sky, and was told one of the 1p deductions was because they were unable to charge 0p. How do all the other companies that offer trials do this without any deductions whatsoever?? I have recently been refunded 1p and am looking to receive the other 1p.

I said in my mail to them that their actions bordered on fraud, and now I have seen similar complaints I am in no doubt that their actions are dishonest and therefore fraudulent. I had half a mind to start a class action lawsuit, but apparently those don't exist in the UK.

Absolute scam merchants. Signed up to a free trial with recurring subscription. Sure enough when you go to cancel....no option online - they refer you to a phone line.

Guess what - they don't answer phones. And they dont respond to emails. Oh and they charge 13p p/min to call them. I'm still sat here after 2 weeks of trying to cancel and am getting nowhere. This is clearly a short term scam to rinse people and sure enough, they will have dissipated very soon after pocketing a huge profit.

Premier sports is by far the worst sports channel I’ve ever seen! Not only do they hardly show sport events but during half time they constantly repeat the same boring highlights of matches and dont even discuss the game during half time. I would give this 0 stars if it was possible.

If I could give zero stars I would. Customer service non existent, can't cancel your contract online, you have to ring to "discuss" it. Took 2 payments out of my account and still says unsubscribed on sky. Had to ring my bank to block any further payments. Avoid like the plague

Agree with all previous comments. Tried to cancel online as indicated then offered a £2.99 deal which I refused. Then provided a tel number to call but get message “due to high volume of calls we can’t place you in a queue” then get disconnected. So impossible to cancel!!!!!! Have sent email to cancel and provide audit trail and will be contacting credit card company. Total scam merchants.Tony
