My application was with them for approx. 3 weeks before they processed it.

Submitted 16 January, and released for checks plus issue of an Enhanced Access check, all on same day- 8 February. Actual dates now inserted, within edit.

No apology received for their delay.

Initially process seemed fine. The portal did just not show enough detail during the process where things were not going smoothly e.g. an agency not responding. So as a result things took far longer than they needed too and the emails asking for information were a little confusing. As I said OK but I have had vetting done more efficiently and quicker from other providers

Thanks to the entire team that was involved in the inspections of Ukrainians, people of other nationalities, and in particular, my inspection, which I passed. Everything went a week and a half faster than the staff indicated. Thank you for having professionals working in this team. It is known that everyone passes this test differently and individually, so everyone has a different mood. I also want to take this opportunity to thank the late Queen Elizaveta on behalf of myself, other people and Ukrainians. to King Charles, the United Kingdom, the government and everyone involved in providing a second home, (to whom) for all of us the people and me and my family personally. Thank you with respect Igor.

An utterly shambolic experience. Procius employ a uniquely backwards process where they hold references on file for in excess of half a year, to then actually check that these references are sufficient when the deadline comes - why they can’t check these references before adding them to your file is beyond me.

Of course when you call enquiring about the process, concerned about inevitable lost income when you can’t start your new job because of Procius, you are met with complete and utter disinterest - simply told that your file is being looked at, and they cannot offer any insight into when this might be done, purely to get you off the phone as promptly as possible. Should you try to email, you might be lucky to get an equally vague response the following week!

Sure enough, the process dragged on far longer than I could ever have imagined possible, and I was unable to begin my new job purely as a result of the woeful handing of my background checks by Procius. Having been through many background checks before, I cannot understand why my experience with Procius was so very different to any other that ive been through previously.

I really do hope that the companies that use Procius take this feedback on board and consider other referencing companies in the future, as any other company I’ve been through in the past has been infinitely more efficient.

Waited over 8 weeks for my disclosure, then to be told they would have to resend as the first one would be out of date. This took another 2 weeks!!
