I was inquiring about a Blackmagic camera and Bradley helped me immensely. He contacted Blackmagic for me and got me an answer right away. Although they didn't have the product available, Bradley was kind, informative, and quick to respond. Excellent customer service!

Ordered from them on 28/08/21
heard nothing so contacted them on 02/09/21 and was advised that some item not in stock (despite it being in stock on web) advised them we were on site shooting on 08/09/21 and they agreed to part ship if they didnt have eveything
contacted them 07/09/21 to be told they would send a part shipment today to arrive tomorrow ie itll arrive when your on the shoot way past the time it was needed
very bad service
would not use again

I was going to buy a Foamcore Fork from productiongear.co.uk on 20.04.2021, I only received a payment notification from Paypal but nothing from this company for 14 days. After a couple of emails, I received a full refund because I did not want to wait for 2 months more to get a simple thing.
The big concerns with this company:
-there is no payment notification at all
-there is no notification about the delivery time
-unpolite, unfriendly attitude towards the customer (mailing)
I do not recommend this company.

Asked three times for package price, fobbed off and told to wait for email, never happened.

It has been months and I am still waiting and nobody even bothers to answer my emails. they claimed the products were in stock which - surprise - they were not and the last word I heared from them was 5 weeks ago. never, ever again! they even suggested to send me parts of my order that they actually had in stock and the rest once they have it. Sounds like a nice move and of course I agreed to that but for some reason unknown that also did not happen. I sent them two emails last week, nothing... never again!

I'm so glad I bought my gear with Production Gear.

I had a BMPCC6k rig setup in mind and after speaking with customer service on the phone, they recommended me better parts for the rig than what I had in mind.
For me that's very important, giving the customer the best possible experience possible.

Everything arrived very quickly.
The tilta cage was missing and once again after getting in contact, the cage was with me the next day.
The rig looks amazing!

Not helpful, would not recommend

We had a monitor that broke a month out of guarantee that we had bought from Production Gear. Production Gear contacted the supplier, persuaded them to repair it free of charge, arranged delivery and collection and tested the returned monitor. Outstanding service.

let me down. dont call back. no reply for email. nothing stock. much better shops to use

Sam was really helpful liaising with Holdan over a Syrp motion control kit which was out of stock everywhere. The kit arrived as promised and when there was a delay on a couple of cables, they shipped them for Saturday delivery which allowed me to use the product on an upcoming shoot. Suppliers are usually very dependant on distributors so it was good to see how well PG and Holdan (another Sam!) worked together to source the gear I needed.

The level of service I received from Sam at Production gear, was nothing short of exemplary.

He went out of his way to help me with my order and did so with a kind and humble, warm and friendly approach which unfortunately is not the way a few gear companies have acted.

Sometimes there tends to be a rather condescending tone used by a few companies employees that the fact that your order is in the ‘’£hundreds’’ and not in the ‘’£tens of thousands’’ Bracket you’re made to feel you’re not worth their time,

but thankfully, all my dealings with Production and Sam have been fantastic!

I’m most certainly a repeat customer because of this and actually recommended them to fellow indie filmmakers/cameramen etc.

Sam took the time to help answer all of my questions and offered helpful advice in choosing the right gear -when he easily could have suggested more expensive alternatives.

I get the impression the team at Production Gear are genuinely there to help the customer.

So I say this with no hesitation – I will most definitely be a repeat customer to Production Gear and their brilliant employee Sam.

Sam did a great job, confirming stock and helping me to process my order to get it the day after! Amazing quality of service, highly recommend!

Items well packed. Timely delivery. Web easy to search. Product in perfect conditions.
Couldn't ask for more. Will purchase again from this vendor.

At first, there were problems with contacting. But finally everything was ok

An item bought in April has now develped a fault in June, Production Gear have swiftly agreed to replace it.

Pleasure to deal with, very helpful and friendly staff and got the part I needed delivered to the location I was working at.

Very bad service ordered my item, was not in stock despite the site saying it was and waited 6 weeks to receive it in the end. Multiple phone calls with promises of calls back. Absolutely appalling I would not recommend this company. I would advise to go somewhere else
