No communication about our order …

No communication about our order without us chasing and this was infuriating while there were delays not being admitted to. I will do everything possible NOT to order from this company again. A bit on their high horse I felt.

Thanks for your comments, I share below the email that we sent you on 11th May at 11:02 to which you didn't reply. I have omitted your questions for privacy but have shared my replies below for clarity on the situation:

As explained to **** when I last spoke with him and as he was aware the Ronin gimbal has been on backorder with DJI. They provide us with NO projected shipping dates. There has been nothing we could tell you and was exactly as I explained to **** on the phone.

I am very sorry about the time taken to deliver these goods. We did make you aware that delivery times were sadly out of our control.

- Product not in stock with supplier to …

- Product not in stock with supplier to begin with.
- Then wrong product sent in correct packaging.
- No power cable included.
- Power supply contributed to a damaged piece of equipment (expensive) so have had to have that replaced.
- Currently requesting that product is replaced with correct power supply.
So yes you could say "a little bit of friction". Depending on your mood.

The missed delivery dates that they …

The missed delivery dates that they promised me. They didn't even tell me it was delayed. Then when I finally got it. One of the gels was completely wrong.

EDIT: As they have replied below they are correct in saying they upgraded the delivery to a Saturday delivery so I'd get it in time which was appreciated. And I do understand it was the suppliers fault about incorrect delivery. Unfortunately nothing was communicated to me before the original delivery date (Thursday) was missed. I had to call on Thursday to chase it. This gave me no time to find another vendor for my goods and then when the incorrect gels were delivered on Saturday so there was no time for redelivery for the shoot on Sunday.

Sam was very good at handling the situation once I called up to chase the order. He dealt with it very quickly and I can fault nothing from that point on.

Hi Sammy,

thanks for taking the time to write a review. I've spoken to our Sam who handled your order. Sam explained that we had the gels you ordered upgraded to a Saturday delivery at no extra cost and sent directly to you from the UK distributor.

The UK distributor by mistake sent you an incorrect gel, which we had collected on Monday and the correct gel sent to you the very next day.

We have taken this issue up with our supplier, I apologise for the mistake.

New camera

I've just bought a new camera and accessories from Production Gear. As always it went through very smoothly. There is always somebody at the end of the line to answer or support any queries. The showroom is good for hands on and now that they have moved parking is on site with plenty of space.
