no update since I ordered 8 weeks ago.
Current my open order, I haven't received update for dispatch info since I placed the order 8 weeks ago.
As my lens are toric - one day so required 4 weeks or longer but 8 weeks are not understandable.
Also it had taken too long for my previous orders...
any chance to improve?

We have checked our system and found that your order items are custom manufactured (Toric lens) upon order confirmation. Some prescriptions may take up to four weeks (in rare cases longer) to be dispatched as we explain on the product page.
We have also confirmed that it took about 1 month, not 2.5 months for your order to be delivered.
According to our records, your order was placed on 13/03 and dispatched on 04/04, then delivered on 15/04.

Delivery - 5 weeks
Order 3 sets of contacts which arrived in 2 boxes. One set were prescription for astigmatism so apparently required at least 4 weeks manufacturing time. Eventually took five. Not sure why the others sets couldn't have been delivered in the usual timeframe in one box. Would have saved me buying extras locally to use during the delay caused by the astigmatism set.

I was requested to keep each faulty one, package and post it back for replacement.
I can only assume a bad batch would be known to quickens and Dailies and a better solution could be found.

Deceptive and unfair
It's extremely duplicitous to have a 'com.au' website, and be based overseas and not upfront about this. I ordered my contact lenses in good faith but because Quicklens is not an Australian company I was unable to claim my private health rebate. This means they cost me far more than they should have. I will never use Quicklens again for this reason.
