I'm a big fan of Quinteassential, especially their Tales of the Orient tea which I have every single evening to wind down. Recently I ordered some tea and got an email saying that their online store w... See more

Lovely Tea…

Had a pot of cleanse tea in the Jaunty Goat cafe in Chester and enjoyed it that much that I emailed them to see who supplied it.
They gave me Quintessential Teas details (another local Chester company) which led to me ordering their Jewel of Africa Tea which I absolutely loved.
I've now ordered twice with no problems whatsoever, will definitely continue to be a customer.

Lovely tea but no samples sent for the 2nd time

I like this tea brand a lot. The tea I've tried so far taste amazing and you can definitely taste the difference in comparison with other brands.
The only reason why I am giving 4 stars is the fact there were no tea samples sent for the 2nd time now when the website states "Tea samples with every order". It is such a shame because it is a nice way to try different flavours before you buy a full box, especially when it cost so much. Otherwise I recommend .

Honest Review

Firstly, I was greeted by a personalised card from the company expressing their appreciation for the purchase which was a really nice touch. Secondly, The tea really is as good as they say it is. It’s relaxing, calming and also great with biscuits :P Finally, I'd recommend the experience with any tea drinker I know. The price point might be off putting to the average person, but I can assure you the experience is worth the price point. Thank you to the crew behind all this and I wish you all the best.

We’re so glad you find the tea relaxing and perfect with biscuits (we couldn’t agree more! 😄). Your kind words about the quality and experience mean the world to our team, and we’re grateful for your recommendation. Cheers to many more calming tea moments ahead!

Extremely frustrating experience with tea subscripton

I am a loyal customer of this brand but recently have been frustrated - trying to change my tea subscription I went onto the website but got message that my connection was not secure (clearly the website’s security encryption has lapsed). Tried to email them but got bounce back and this message ‘Your message couldn't be delivered. The Domain Name System (DNS) reported that the recipient's domain does not exist.

Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin that it appears that their domain isn't properly registered at their domain registrar. Give them the error details shown below. It's likely that the recipient's email admin is the only one who can fix this problem.’

Tried to call them on their telephone number that comes up when you google them and on previous emails - dial it and then get the automated message ‘number not recognised’. Tried their Instagram but it has not been updated since 2024 so guessing they are not seeing that. Putting this on here so maybe they will see it…
At first my tea subscription payment ‘could not be taken’ so I thought at least it is not going through but yesterday got message it has been confirmed so they are still taking my money even though I have not been able to amend/skip my subscription.

My last resort will be to write to them at their business address.

What a ridiculous experience with what has been thus far an excellent company.

Hello Paula
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this detailed feedback, and we’re truly sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced.
For the last week we have been battling a major technical outage that affected our website, email system, and subscription services all at once. This unfortunately meant you weren’t able to reach us through the normal channels — something we understand must have been extremely worrying and inconvenient.
Please rest assured your connection and data are secure — what you experienced was the result of a temporary systems failure, not a lapse in website security. We’ve since restored our services and are working to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
We’d love to resolve your subscription issue straight away. If you could email me directly at accounts@quinteassential.co.uk or the wider team at info@quinteassential.co.uk with the changes required, we’ll make any adjustments you need immediately.
We’re truly grateful for your loyalty and patience, and we’re committed to winning back your confidence after this disruption.

Warm regards,
Sue and team Q
