Changed to RAC

Hopefully the RAC will be more reasonable as well when it comes to renewal next year.

A good experience with RAC Insurance
I chose RAC from the "compare the market" site for being good value and offering excellent cover. The RAC site was easy to navigate but do check all your answers that are passed through from Meerkat.

Easy to apply although I don't appear…
Easy to apply although I don't appear to have received my Blue Light voucher for choosing RAC via the comparison website.
Slightly annoying that I keep receiving emails about a previous claim but stating I need to take any action. I have contacted RAC via the webchat and believed that this was all sorted.

Competative Insurance provider but a hard sell!
The website is easy to navigate to obtaining insurance, however difficult to cancel and there was an extremely hard cell from the customer services person when wanting to not renew and transfer to another provider. Misleading information was provided particularly in respect of the NCD.

Poor customer service
For the second year in a row I have had an inflated price quoted on the basis of incorrect data on their system. Last year it took a lengthy complaint process to get it corrected. Now it’s back on the system. I’ve spent an hour and a half on the phone trying to sort it out - and have been told the right department shuts at 16.30. This is crazy - most working people can’t spend hours on the phone so I’ve just gone elsewhere for less than half the price. Shop around!
