Fantastic well organised weekend package to Paris for the horse racing
Thoroughly recommend for racing holidays

The organisation for the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe weekend was very good. We needed some special transport to and from the racecourse and Racingbreaks staff sorted that. Every question we asked was answered promptly. They even gave us the contact details for taxi drivers to and from the course. We took advantage of the Auberge restaurant and the staff there were also very helpful regarding shuttle service in between.

Easy experience all round,clear instructions on how to get around, everything is taken care of so you basically just have to do nothing.plaesant staff,very helpful.if you like racing this international trip takes it to a whole new level,and experience everyone should do,

Irish Champion Festival

My first time with Racingbreaks and what an excellent weekend. It started off with a great chat with Ruby and then two fantastic days racing. The trip to the Irish National Stud was a trip down memory lane, seeing some of the old legends in retirement. I would certainly recommend and the whole weekend was extremely well organised.

Got a racing break voucher as a birthday present. Hadn’t ever used them before but will certainly be using again in the future. Booked for Doncaster racecourse. Hotel was the Hilton at the racecourse and room had view of the racecourse. We even had our tickets upgraded to premier which was a lovely surprise. All in all we had a fantastic break and would highly recommend.

Just home after a great weekend at the Irish champions weekend. Everything really well organised and Dave and Nicole were very helpful. Looking forward to doing another trip in future.

I can’t praise Racing Breaks enough for the amazing experience they gave me and my husband celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary at Ascot. From start to finish everything ran smooth and customer services (Dave Arthur) was fantastic throughout the whole experience making it so simple and easy for us, felt he went above and beyond, in saying that all the staff at Ascot couldn’t do enough for us. Beautiful hotel where we were well looked after and no issues with transfers at all. Will most certainly be doing this again. Thank you Racing Breaks!!! Highly recommend.

Just got back from my first ever visit to the Galway Festival and first time using Racingbreaks. The booking and payment process was very straightforward. The Racingbreaks team were accessible and prompt in responding to questions.

Race day tickets arrived on time and everything was well organised. I would happily use Racingbreaks again.

Just returned from a brilliant week at the Galway Summer Racing Festival. The trip was really well organised, with the Racing Breaks Rep on hand for any queries at our Hotel . Already planning for 2026.

Hotel Athena and all the Palio events I attended were very good and are recommended. But no thanks to RacingBreaks. Their customer service was an utter disgrace. They have no management looking after customers in their London office. It was almost impossible to get answers or even replies to FAQs. I told them they are running their business like a gipsy camp. Three times I received actual emails saying: sorry we are all out “at Cheltenham” then “in Dubai” and then “at Ascot”! I seriously searched the internet twice to check whether RacingBreaks had been reported as a “scam website”.

It was ironic that RacingBreaks had no representative on the ground for the Palio in Siena. They just contracted out, and substantially marked up, a package from an outfit called Palio Tours. The problem was that the non-Italian representative from Palio Tours was, to put it politely, not fit for the job. The orientation meeting was chaotic and questions were left unanswered. The itinerary, documentation and maps provided were amateurish, incomplete, not fit for purpose and the worst I have ever received from any tour manager anywhere.

All the above failures came for the princely sum of £2,594 for one person. So I am asking RacingBreaks to refund their mark-up on my booking.

NOTE: After I submitted this review, RacingBreaks recognised and apologised for my complaints and have sent me a partial refund. So I am satisfied with the outcome and have added one star.

racing breaks Provide good value with the ease of booking they are very helpful and ensure they provide for the race goers needs

The trip was well organised from the initial booking to leaving the hotel with updates and information provided all the way through. The hotel was in a good location and was of a very good standard with friendly helpful staff. Overall I felt the trip was very good value particularly with a couple of free drinks included and I would certainly do it again for Royal Ascot or another racing event.

Excellent package, all the hard work of bookings etc taken away! Simple process, turn up and enjoy! I have already booked my next race day!

Brilliant company, great customer service which is rare these days. Really helpful with upgrading tickets after I made a mistake when booking.
Had a package deal for the Saturday at ascot with a hotel stay. Good value with everything included.
Will be booking with them again for next year.
The only improvement would be if they could tell me the winners in advance next year!!

It is with regret that I find myself writing this review

We have used Racing Breaks previously and had absolutely no complaint with great service throughout

On our trip to Ascot this year the hotel service was very good

However our visit to Royal ascot ladies day was not without extreme frustration

In your correspondence you asked for us to be ready 10mins prior to departure time, we along with a large number of other race goers were outside at 9.50am

Coaches were waiting yet check in was delayed and we eventually left at 10.20am

Unfortunately neither the driver or your representative knew the way and were in regular contact with someone throughout the journey taking directions.
This led to the coach going the wrong way, needing to turn around and delaying our arrival as well as leaving us stressed as to when we would arrive.

We eventually arrived at car pk 10 at 11.45am, 1hr 25mins after leaving and1hr 55mins after your request to be ready to leave, I do not remember reading anywhere that travel time was 1hr 30mins?
All in extreme heat, albeit the coach had air conditioning.

In your itinerary you had important information
Ascot's coach park is a short walk from the entrance
The walk is 20mins for us a mobile couple with no ailments or conditions, in our opinion this is not a short walk!

The last time we visited ascot with you it was indeed a short walk and we fully expected the same.
It seems as though Racing Breaks used a car park further away.

The coach home, honestly awful
On this occasion the driver took us for a tour of the M3 in both directions
Sign posts to Farnborough were ignored and the Satnav that was used was not followed

A few passengers were unhappy and the driver was rather rude even though it was the drivers fault!

It seemed that one passenger was travel sick probably due to the extended travel time and your representative was dealing with that at the time of the drivers rudeness

We eventually got back to the hotel at 8.50pm after leaving ascot at 7.20pm

Ascot is a wonderful place unfortunately on this occasion we feel that Racing Breaks let us down and completely took the gloss off what should of been an amazing experience

This was a gift for my 60th Birthday and I could not fault the experience. Well organised from start to finish would highly recommend

Excellent service when we had to cancel 2 of our group due to illness but then found nearer the date they were well enough to go. Dave managed to rebook the hotel bedroom and Ascot tickets. Reading Hilton was amazing and transport to
Ascot was well planned.

Great time well organised trip to Royal Ascot food superb accommodation very clean and tidy beautiful Windsor hotel

On the whole, a great, well organised and easy experience. Hotel booking was correct and race tickets arrived on time. Only downside was the first bus didn't turn up but a replacement bus was sourced within 45mins and we were looked after and kept informed at the hotel, so actually didn't affect our raceday much at all.

This is my second trip booked through racing breaks and I will definitely be rebooking again.
