Easy to use and get tickets
Easy to use and get tickets, one thing I might suggest though is, explaining that you have to insert both tickets into the machine if you have a paper ticket for shinkansen. My friends and I were a little lost when it came to that.

The company is a scam with fake office address
The company is a scam. On its site it lies that it has millions of customers and that its customers save money by booking with them. They add massive fees on top of ticket price and lie about it to the customers. I used their website to look for prices, but decided not to book because I realized they lie about offering savings. They surcharge over 30% and lie about savings. This is a fly-by-night operation that does not even list a real office on its website (it shows virtual office), so you don't really know where your money is going when you use this site.

We handle more than a million train routes worldwide, serving travelers in over 40 countries. Accusing a company of being a “scam” because you didn’t complete a purchase is simply unfair.

This company sold me a Shinkansen ticket that didn’t work at the station. JR staff confirmed it was invalid, and yet the company charged over £70 to “modify” a ticket, when the same change at the station costs just £2.50. Avoid this company — buy directly from official JR sites or at the station or Klook.
Their claims that they’re used by a million travellers are also fictitious, they barely have 50 reviews on Google. Avoid at all costs.

If a ticket ever shows as invalid, it’s typically due to incorrect usage (like scanning the wrong QR code or the wrong machine), and our support is always available to assist — yet we received no message from you. If you send your order details to cs@railmonsters.com, we’ll investigate immediately. If there’s an error on our side, we’ll refund 100% — no problem.
As for modification fees: these are calculated dynamically by the supplier at the time of change. We never add hidden fees — everything is shown clearly before you purchase or confirm.
And hey — if standing in line at a station in Japan to save £15 is your thing, that’s absolutely your choice. But thousands of our customers prefer to save time and travel stress-free. That’s the value we offer — convenience, multi-language support, global payment methods, and real humans who answer within minutes.
Lastly, your comment about our reputation is simply false. We have over 300 verified Google reviews with a 4.8-star average, and we’ve helped hundreds of thousands of travelers worldwide.
