I have used this bike repair shop on…

I have used this bike repair shop on several occasions now. They are a great crew, very skillful, resourceful and determined to find a solution to your problem, no matter how small or unusual. I highly recommend them.

It's a small shop

It's a small shop, but I highly recommend it! Unlike the giant chain stores, Rapid Scooter has a great selection of high-quality bikes. They're the only ones to stock ADO carbon and ADO ultra. Professional and friendly service!

There were two minor technical issues…

There were two minor technical issues with the electric bike I purchased so I emailed with my queries. The reply was instant by return and the shop assistant, Fred B, attached a video prepared for me with clear and concise intructions on how to satifactorily resolve the problems I had. So, 5-star top marks for Fred and your company in general for excellent customer support, which is not always forthcoming in this day and age!

The best scooter repair shop

Took my sons scooter, really helpful and polite, fixed it really quickly very professionals and it didn’t cost the earth, they succeeded where other shops failed will now always take our scooter there

I brought in my Pure 4 pro which wasn’t…

I brought in my Pure 4 pro which wasn’t switching on and a replacement rear tire. They fixed both very quickly and called. They also repaired the light and cleaned the scooter, top service. Do agree a fee first for the works. Polite people.

They sold a faulty not as described…

They sold a faulty not as described e-bike didn’t stick to consumer law with return warranty help or refund I had to go to bank trading to reverse the payment despite them saying they offered a refund and it was about a punctured tyre which was not true it was an electrical fault and they wanted £75 just to look at the bike I asked to return they refused I requested a payment reversal from my bank which I won for faulty goods they then messaged privately to threaten legal action for me to pay for return of good box it dismantle it which was more expense and difficult and goes again consumer law 2015 so have reported to trading standards I have emails to prove this can’t upload though to warn others

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. For the benefit of other readers, we would like to clarify several important points, as a number of statements in this review are inaccurate.

You first contacted us regarding this matter nearly a year after the bike was purchased regarding your tyre puncture. You were informed getting punctures on a bike does not immediately grant return rights within statutory periods, let alone beyond the six-month period, as this is considered normal wear and tear and incidental. Your understanding of consumer law and its application in this situation is incorrect. Despite the length of time that had passed, we still offered to examine the bike and carry out any necessary repairs. However, the bike was never returned to us for inspection.

You also confirmed that the tyres punctures had been independently repaired by other parties on three separate occasions. In any event, arranging multiple third-party repairs without notifying us or seeking authorisation prevents us from properly assessing the original condition of the bike.

Nevertheless, we still attempted to resolve the matter and, as a gesture of goodwill, offered a refund despite the bike having been used for a year. The only requirement was that the bike be returned to us safely.

To assist with this, we provided a video showing how the bike can be disassembled and repackaged, You mentioned you have binned the original so we shared the original box dimensions to help you source another one for safe courier transport, and also offered the option for the bike to be dropped off at one of our stores for more convenience. However, these options have been expressly refused and the bike has still not been returned to us.

We remain willing to resolve the matter once the bike is returned to us. Any questions our team is ready to assist.

Great experience

Ive had a great experience buying from rapid scooter it came on time also ive had a slight issue my my charger i rang rapid scooter explained I need the scooter for work they sent a new one out straight away I was impressed so I'd use these again definitely

Really good customer support

We’ve checked with FedEx and they attempted delivery this morning, with a photo of the doorframe uploaded as proof. We’ve now asked them to try delivering again tomorrow. Great in person service

Really helpful and accomodating staff, realised I could collect my bike in person so rang Rapid Scooter and changed my order. Bike was assembled, charged and ready to go. They talked me through the essentials and made me feel confident with my new bike.
