Beautiful cobble slips for our driveway, supplied by the reclaimed brick company. Cobbles were delivered by Roger this morning, who was very friendly and helpful. Very pleased with the overall experience dealing with this company. Highly recommended

Ordered coping stones and poor quality flagstones were delivered. No refund offered and could not speak to management at all. Eventually won a court case and got my money back. Avoid at all costs.

I regret purchasing from this company and wish I had read reviews beforehand.

I was in the process of sorting out my fireplace hearth and needed some Yorkstone. As a parent, I don’t have the time to visit multiple builders’ merchants searching for the right material, so ordering online seemed like the easiest option. I came across a product that showed eight images of the exact type of stone I was looking for, so I didn’t hesitate to place an order.

I also paid extra for the stone to be cut to size, along with shipping costs. However, when the item arrived, it looked nothing like the stone shown in the images. After contacting the company, I was told that the description states: “The photo is taken from a completed previous order; all reclaimed fireplace hearths are made to order and each one will be different due to natural variations in reclaimed stone.”

While I understand there can be variations with reclaimed materials, the difference was significant and very disappointing. Unfortunately, I was not offered a refund.

In hindsight, I feel I should have been more cautious, but I also believe the listing images were misleading. This experience has cost me both time and money.

Ordered from this company previously and goods as described. Sadly things have gone downhill with this company. Ordered 6 bags of cobbles, 2 different types. Three bags of one type covered in tar and not usable, also bags not as full as previous. Three bags of second type were of poor quality, again not as described and not usable. After several phone calls all returned, a week in no refund, will not answer from my phone number, although they do pick up phone if I call from a separate number. Wish I had looked on trustpilot before ordering these. Avoid at all costs, there are other reclaims companies selling goods as described.

Ordered online, funds taken immediately, website states delivery in 7-10 days.

2 weeks pass, not heard anything. Call = no answer, email = no reply, WhatsApp = no reply.

Eventually get an answer on the phone after a few calls. Person that answers cant help with my order. Call back a few days later, we'll look into it they say. Call back a week later, 'due for delivery in 10 days' they say. 10 days pass, I call them again, 'oh, sorry our supplier has let us down'. Requested a refund which did come through thankfully.

6 weeks have passed, with a whole load of admin, I'm back to where I started.

We recently purchased stone paving from this company and we are extremely satisfied. The stone paving was high quality and exactly as described. The team was professional, helpful, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. We highly recommend them!

I placed an order for grit stone cobbles valued at £1,000, with an additional £280 for express delivery, based on the company's claims that all bricks were "hand cleaned" and that "all setts have been carefully hand-sorted, mortar removed, and placed in bags ready to use." Upon arrival, the cobbles were extremely dirty, covered in tar, dirt, and mortar. Despite attempts to clean them with a jet washer, many of the bricks were still in questionable condition.

The condition of the goods is far from what was advertised, and they are not of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose, which constitutes a breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

When I contacted the Reclaimed Brick Company to request a full refund and return, their staff responded dismissively, suggesting I should clean the cobbles after installation and stating that this was "to be expected" from reclaimed materials. This response was unprofessional and failed to address my concerns, especially after I explained that the bricks had supposedly been cleaned by hand by their staff.

As a result, I will be reporting this matter to Trading Standards, and I am prepared to take further action if necessary. I am still awaiting confirmation of my refund. Unless the company changes its stance, its reputation will likely suffer.

Scam - cobbles came caked in dirt and tar. The customer service is also terrible. Avoid at all costs.

AVOID!! BRICKS ARE NOT CLEANED!!!

Initial services was great, along with delivery being on time. Unfortunately everything after this point was terrible, the bricks arrived with mortar beds still attached making them unusable unless we cleaned them. I notified Reclaimed Brick and was told by Tegan to expect some residue on the bricks and that they have to be careful not to damage the bricks when cleaning them. This was utter rubbish the bricks just hadn't been cleaned properly.

We are a Ltd building company of over 28 years and have an in-depth knowledge of this business, having also cleaned and sold bricks ourselves. I provided further evidence showing the condition of the bricks to which Tegan replied to say there was no residue on the bricks, despite the pictures clearly showing the mortar beds attached. The bricks seem to of simply been taken from the wall and put on a pallet with no cleaning taking place, despite Reclaimed Brick saying they clean the bricks and their website showing clean bricks ready for use. This was not the odd big on mortar on a brick, it was nearly the whole mortar bed.

Since this Reclaimed brick have stopped responding to me calls and emails showing.

Will certainly not be using Reclaimed Brick again and will also be spreading the word to the building community in my area.

Ordered 5 boxes of brick slips based on the website reviews. The brick slips vary in thickness from 6mm to 30mm. Utter rubbish. Do not trust the reviews on the website.

Uncompetitive prices. Far better off buying direct from the quarry- plenty of them around in the UK.

Ordered stone online. Delivered promptly, although in the wrong place. Product not as photo provided prior to order. Not contactable, reusing to take calls and using avoiding tactics to getting out of sorting a collection and refund. Do not buy from - untrustworthy.

What a great place, could spend all day there. Everything you could need. The staff are great and very friendly, leaving you to wander around the massive site but also always around to offer help. Brendan sorted out some pavers for us, getting us a great deal and loaded over 100 of them into the car. Will certainly go back. Thanks Brendan

Needed two 7ft scaffold boards to make shelves. Gave them a call and within an hour I was at the yard which is impressive. Tall young chap in reception was lovely. He then asked Brendan one of the chaps in the yard to look after me.
