We were frustrated with the lack of understanding, certainty and flexibility offered within the industry. In short, we believed that we could build a better bank. And so, we did. We offer a range award-winning, secure FSCS protected savings accounts with competitive interest rates for individuals and businesses alike. Recognise Bank is authorised by the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA). Our eligible saving products are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £85,000 for individuals and businesses and £170,000 for joint accounts. We also offer a range of specialist lending products, and we aim to be as flexible as possible with all of our offerings and services, no matter what your business needs. Faulty analysis of Nat West sort codes.

I tried to open an account for a 1 year fixed interest and the system at Recognise would not 'recognise' my Nat West bank sort code, where I had had a current account for over 50 years!
Fortunately for Recognise, a person called Julie looked into the matter and got their IT department to make adjustments - eventually. It took two weeks with a lot of faffing but eventually was sorted and they honoured the original interest rate, which had changed downward in the interim.

Very easy to open and fund account

Very easy to open and fund account. Best interest rates at the time. The account can be managed through their website which for me works far better thane a phone app.
