We are so grateful to Clayton Bissett from the Ecclesall Rd office. We spoke with him about what we were looking for, and he clearly listened carefully. What he showed us was perfect, and we made an offer the same day. The process of purchasing our new home was smooth. Louise Jones provided regular updates and guidance on the process. We have a very positive impression of the Red Brick team and the excellent service they provided.

I had a terrible experience renting a property through this agency. The flat I rented on Creswell Place in Rugby was handed over in a completely unacceptable condition despite being reassured it would be professionally cleaned and cleared.
From the day I moved in, there were serious issues:
• Mice in the flat – a clear health and safety concern
• Mould around multiple windows
• Ventilation problems
• Dirty dishwasher and fridge (the agent even admitted this in writing)
• Landlord’s personal belongings left in cupboards and storage
• Leaking tap and other maintenance issues
Things got even worse in winter. In January, the heating and hot water stopped working during peak cold weather, leaving me without basic living essentials. The landlord was extremely slow and stingy with arranging repairs, which delayed everything. I was left without heating and hot water in freezing temperatures for far too long.
When I finally moved out, they then attempted to charge me for cleaning issues that were actually pre-existing and even documented in the check-in report and emails from the agent. They even included mould removal in their cleaning bill, despite mould being present from my first day and repeatedly reported.
Overall, this agency has been one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. Poor communication, broken promises, slow maintenance, unsafe conditions, and unfair deposit claims. If you rent through them, document absolutely everything with photos and emails, because you will need proof.
I would not recommend them to anyone.

I’ve been a tenant for over 9 years and the property is lovely in a quiet cul-de-sac. I’ve made it my home albeit owned by someone else, which I completely respect.
On the whole Red Brick are great and I’ve had great support from Pat in particular in the past.
I’ve given 4 stars as I’m really pleased with the property, any maintenance issues are, on whole, dealt with promptly, luck was definitely on my side when I found and rented this property. Having said that I tend not to labour on areas that need attention (let’s face it after 9 years in any property things do require attention) in fear of a massive rise in rent to cover costs. So, I tend to just make do.
The additional 1 star would be to improve response times (or response at all), emergency contact/response. Maybe more interest in the ageing of a property and the impact to the landlord’s investment.
Overall Red Brick have looked after me as a tenant and I have a beautiful home. Thank you team!

I am a Landlord of 20+ years. I have been using Redbrick sales and lettings for the past 4-5 years. I find the team professional, knowledgeable and over all excellent. If they do not know the answer they come back to you with a response in a timely manner - they are not the stereo typical letting agent that just keeps taking the money.

I first came across Redbrick sales and lettings through the Coventry and Warwickshire Landlord Facebook group during COVID.
I reached out and Patrick sent me a message with his mobile number from then on we spoke a number of times. It was great and refreshing to speak with someone within the business that understood the business - as a seasoned landlord himself.
I was having some difficulty with compliance with two other Coventry agents; Belvoir and Vesta Properties Agency. Patrick’s help and advice was invaluable and he helped me pursue this without any financial cost to me when ending these contracts and transferring the properties over to Redbrick sales and Lettings.

Red brick are a local business who have been managing properties for years. They are knowledgeable, professional and fair.

They take good care of good tenants and promote professionalism in landlords.

They manage a large number of properties because they are well run and they conduct business with high levels of integrity. They have good customer support and are happy to provide good advice for free. I suspect non paying tenants might give them poor reviews because they are well run.

Red Brick have been managing my property for many years. I have no complaints whatsoever. The service, help, advice, problem resolution etc. are second to none in my opinion. Much better option than self managing.

I have dealt with Red Brick for a number of years and have always received great service, I have dealt with Kat, Jas, Patrick, Gail, Sara, Sarah and Julie who have all been very helpful. I regularly meet Patrick for 1-1’s and he has always given great advice.

I’ve been renting my house out via Redbrick for the past 8 years, no issues whatsoever.
The office staff are always extremely helpful and respond to queries very quickly. If the tenants raise an issue that needs fixing the office staff contact me quickly and arrange for trades people to go in and fix it promptly. I’d say the fact I’ve let my house via Redbrick for 8 years and the same tenants have been in there for 8 years speaks volumes about the quality of service to both parties
