Fastest response I have ever had from a broadband company. Nik the Engineer was super efficient, very knowledgeable, good communicator and solved the problem. Delighted with the outcome.

I was without internet for several days after my 4G connection went down and had to be changed to 5G. I found the experience really frustrating, especially when it was taking so long to get an engineer booked in, and the phone support was not helping ease the stress.

That said, the engineer Nik was absolutely brilliant. He came out twice, was never in a rush, very polite and funny, and took the time to explain everything in simple terms that I could understand. His approach made a huge difference. If it was not for the quality of his service, I would have been left feeling very let down by how long I was without internet.

I was a little delayed getting back home and Nik had started setting up and had already connected the new reciever outside and taken down the old one. He then went on to explain to me about why the service was so much slower and what he was doing to fix it.
After i explained that we cannot recieve internet on the other side of the property so he connected one more mesh router and i tested it before he left and it worked amazingly. 10/10.

We're in a rural location, not the back of beyond but in a black hole where no other broadcast provider would touch us. 4 years ago a work colleague recommended Regional Broadband who were immediately helpful and got us online.
I'll be honest coverage was patchy and a good day was 20 mb . In the past couple of months things slowed right down and I was beginning to consider President Musk as the only option. I logged a call with Regional Broadband to see if things could be improved but I wasn't hopeful.
Dylan on customer service was immediately helpful. Implemented some improvements and said if that didn't work, download software to enable him to remote on and try further options. I did, he did, still no good, so he scheduled an engineer.
Nik arrived and immediately knew our outside infrastructure needed an upgrade, then swapped our router for an update one. On that, with our existing mesh system, we got to 45mb. Not good enough, says Nik.

People, we have 105mb. Didn't know such a number existed.

Give Nik, Dylan and Regional Broadband all of your money. They are a small company and act like it, meaning your not getting messed about or passed between departments, you deal directly with the people who are going to fix your problem and they do.

The Engineer Nik is superb,honest courteous and professional.His knowledge is second to none.He is so helpful and as a company I couldn't praise them enough they always strive to make the customer happy.A very genuine company I highly recommend

As my 17year old says. The broadband is so fast? It would blow the back doors off a speed van 😄just 7km outside cork city so I'm not eligible for fibre yet. Regional had a 2 day turnaround and had an engineer call to survey. 350mb download 40mb upload. I've 3 gaming teens and a pre teen that hasn't complained in weeks about their console being laggy. It's a quite life now 😁 big shout out to jason especially and the technician gary was very professional 👏
