I have recenly moved out from the property I rented from Reliance and wanted to share my experience of being their tenant. My property manager Mr Alex Tartov has been a pleaure to work with. Having had troubles with my previous property, Alex assisted me in finding me a property quickly and has been very helpful since. I am extremely happy with their service and have recommended it to both friends and family.

After living in a dwelling on Bramley Rd. Leicester managed by Reliance Properties for 1 year and 6 months and being a great tenant, always paying on time, keeping the property clean and tidy, now at the end of the tenancy agreement I am not being given back the deposit in spite of leaving the property in very similar conditions to how I found it, usual wear and tear after 1 year and 6 months. It all began when they have changed the management of the property from Alex Tartov to Elliott Shaw, Alex has been always great in customer support, very responsive and super friendly. On the other hand, since Elliott took over my property, was a big lack of responsiveness, very cold approach, loads of promises to issues reported and 0 sorted I.e. faulty smoke detector sounding the fire alarm randomly in the middle of the night and waking up all the building. On top of a poor management of the property, Elliott has now decided to plot with the Landlord in using money from my deposit to refurbish areas of the property which are normal signs of wear and tear, also blaming the general cleanliness in spite of me deep cleaning the property and initially was handed to me in a very poor state of cleanliness. Elliott Shaw is a great pretender of political correctness and poses very professional but in fact he doesn't care about your situation and he will do anything to get money off you like unreasonably increasing rent or unreasonably holding your deposit. Typical corporate type of guy.

* * * UPDATE * * * About a month after I left the property and after appealing their claim with DPS (Deposit Protection Service) in which they were requesting to hold around 90% of my deposit based on unrealistic and unreasonable claims (which I mentioned above in the original review), DPS decided in my favour and refunded me around 90% of my deposit! 10% being held for some remarks which I initially agreed with anyway. Conclusion: Reliance Properties was wrong once again! (Was it intentional or just another proof of incompetence? Well, either way, when they raise a claim on your deposit, whether you are 100% entitled to be refunded or not, you would have to wait usually 1-2 months after you leave the property until a decision is made by DPS, very bad for people that are not very wealthy or desperately depend on that money)

I have rented through Reliance Properties for the last 2 years and I have been a very happy tenant. If it wasn't that I am relocating out of the UK, I would have definitely gone on to renew my third year contract with them.
Mr Shah, the property manager, has always been professional and approachable, and prompt in replying to any query I might have had. In the last few days Mr Shah and his team have hugely facilitated the whole process of the end of tenancy for me, making it quick and smooth.
If you are looking to rent in or around Leicester, I would recommend that you contact Reliance Properties for your needs - I am sure you will have a very positive experience with them, just like I had.

I would definitely recommend Reliance Properties to those searching a new home. Our agent was Elliott Shaw and he offered us an accurate, kind and friendly service and guidance alongside the whole application process. I have been looking for a retail shop for few months, went through a lot of discriminative behaviour with some estate agents however, I finally found one, Reliance Properties the best.
The great thing was the estate agent Alex, he was so professional and understanding. Each time I had called their office, who ever was on the other line was alway polite and kind. The service is great. Alex worked his best to help things move faster. Reliance Properties has a good team.

I`ve been renting with Reliance Properties for more than 2 years now. Our property has been rented out through Alex which is by far the most professional real estate agent that I have had to deal with in comparison to other big brand agencies.
They have always dealt quickly with every issue that we had in terms of fixing or changing various things that needed attention due to wear and tear or dodgy quality.
So overall, there is not a single bad thing that I can say about this agency. They dealt with full transparency from the start which I found very professional.
