Helpful customer service

The subscription system is deceptive because it is very easy to overlook a cancellation deadline and be charged with full price. But the Rentola's customer service of is very helpful and eager to answer to any issues related to this problem. Nevertheless, regarding home searching on Rentola it wasn't fruitful for me

Trying to deduct $65 daily

I signed up and paid $2 to get access. Once i saw how much of a scam they were i closed the acc the same day. Ever since they have tried to charge me daily $65. I have emailed them and they just ignore it. I now have to ensure there is no money in the acc because everyday still they continue to try and take $65. BIG SCAM DO NOT SIGN UP

Deceptive billing practices and poor…

Deceptive billing practices and poor transparency

I was charged €39.39 by Rentola without any clear notice or confirmation. The automatic renewal of the subscription was not transparent, and the subscription itself was not visible in my account until I manually searched for it.

I never knowingly agreed to extend the service, and had no access to any features after the charge. This kind of user experience is misleading at best, and at worst, intentionally deceptive.

I have reached out to customer support requesting a full refund, but have yet to receive any response.

Rentola’s billing system appears to be designed in a way that easily traps users into payments they did not intend to make.

I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when signing up for this platform.

Attractive offers but for subscription only

When you need to view items you pan 1 EUR but than you can not unsubscribe, no e-mail about subscription arrived in e-mail client, you can not log -in. And than they charge you 40 EUR - looks like main purpose of the pages.
Update: After contacting company and making claim through bank I have got my payments back.

Scam!

This company asked for a £1 trial fee, nothing then happened with properties that were contacted. They then advised you have to wait 24 hours to cancel your subscription but when you attempt to do so, you cannot log into your account to do this.

Dear Rentola Team,

I am writing to formally complain about an unauthorized subscription charge of approximately £40 that was taken from my bank account. I did not knowingly agree to this subscription.

Immediately after noticing the charge, I canceled/unsubscribed within minutes — yet Rentola is still holding my money and refusing to process a refund. I find this practice unfair, misleading, and highly unprofessional.

To make matters worse, your website offers no proper customer support — no phone number, no clear way to resolve such issues.

At this point, I am forced to leave public negative feedback about my experience and will also consider filing a chargeback/dispute with my bank if this is not promptly resolved.

I request an immediate full refund of this charge, as I have not used and will not use the service.

Using my details without consent

This company is advertising my property without my authority, consent, agreement etc. I advertised on a single recognised website FAO students only yet somehow this company managed to use my photos and my details even though I have never had any type of correspondence with them. The result is now I am bombarded with people looking
to rent but who do not meet the required criteria. Example, my original advert provided details of a single room to rent, due to the shenanigans of this company I have families of 8 and 10 people requesting information regarding same. Update:They have now January 2026, some 7 months later left a response to mine explaining "they would look into it" or words to that effect,big of them(not) in my opinion Rentola have a useless, lazy team working for them who can't be bothered even reading complaints about Rentola no mind corresponding a proper or even adequate reply. It very obviously comes from the top down (i.e)owners and managers training their staff to behave in this manner.I just advise any poor victim who contacts me that they wasted their money on Rentola and not to use them again.
2nd February they have contacted me via trust pilot to ask could I contact them directly - considering NOBODY ON THE PLANET CAN CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY I'd love to know how I'm supposed to!

Scam alert

Scam alert! You pay 1 euro for a trial without the possibility to cancel within 24 hours. Then they will charge you without you even noticing, since the subscription won’t appear on your Google account. Once you’ve paid for the trial, you won’t be able to contact the owner of the apartment you were looking for, and the website will redirect you to another page. Avoid at all costs!

Rentola Review: Unfair Subscription Practices

I recently signed up for Rentola’s trial, paying $2 for a 7-day test. Unfortunately, the very next day, I was unable to sign in, preventing me from managing my subscription or canceling before the trial ended.
