Doesn't work

Doesn't work, takes the money anyway. Nice scam.

Re: You thinking I will answer you right away after half a year is really pathetic. You're scamming people and you know it not even one post was letting me through and then it took the money which I know is written by really small letters in the rules but still it is made to scam you because you don't notice. If you want to reply to every bad review on internet good luck there it is thousands.

I had a little problem and the support staff came through!

I had a little problem and the support staff helped me right away! They were so kind and understanding too! It left me with such a wonderful impression! Nowadays support staffs can't be very helpful but I was very grateful to be proven wrong!

I do not recommend it

I do not recommend it, the website info is wrong, when you actually pay to view the property's real announcement, the price has a huge variation vs what they had displayed on their website.
Also, after paying the trial test to see how it works, they automatically charge you a premium account as if we are looking for properties our whole lives.

Would not recommend. They fail to disclose ongoing charges clearly, which appears to go against ACCC guidelines on transparency.

Cannot cancel "Free Trial" - Forces $55 a month

Cannot cancel "Free Trial" - then $55 a month.

You are unable to cancel your free trial after signing up. They do not inform you that you cannot cancel the free trial until 24 hours later. You then need to set an alarm to cancel. I missed my alarm, and 6 days later was charged $55 for the month. I looked at ONE ad... A complete waste. Highly unprofessional.

If you had contacted us immediately after the trial, we could have processed your request without waiting for the 24-hour period.

Please note that once a subscription renews, the full price is charged, and you retain access to premium features until the end of the billing period you paid for.

In our message, we believe we clearly explained that the subscription was activated after the trial period in accordance with the Terms and Conditions you agreed to during registration. Rentola SCAMS people with "cheap" (fake) houses

Rentola provided a very nice house in a nice district for a relatively cheap price (around 630 euros, it's avg flat price in Budapest, for this house it seemed very cheap). I wanted to contact the owner, but to do that they ask for a subscription 1 euro. I paid it, and then at the contact button they forwarded me to another link, where the house was 6300 euros per month, not 630. Of course I felt disappointed and wanted to remove my subscription immediately and just go on my way. I was surprised that it takes 24 hours to remove subscription (ofc it's about people forgetting it and then getting billed for 50+ euros within a week). However, I was curious why the owner set a wrong price and I wrote an email to the original owner. It seems that THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT THE POSTING. Rentola posts very cheap flats so people pay small amount to catch people. Full SCAM. I removed my subscription, but it doesn't allow me to remove the card details, I wrote several messages to them and still waiting for a response. I blocked payings on Revolut but I might need to do a new card if they don't remove details... Shocking. NEVER USE RENTOLA.

Signed up for the free trial then I had…

Signed up for the free trial then I had to pay 39 euro's. Canceled my subscription on the same day and wrote an email that I didn't want to extend and already canceled my subscription. They told me no problem, we'll just refund you. 2x39 euro's ended up being taken from my bank account. So I contacted them again and they apologized and refunded both payments. Thank you for your kind service in this stressful situation that became a positive experience after all. I'm so glad for your understanding and your responsiveness to my emails.

Scam tricks desperate people that they…

Scam tricks desperate people that they have properties for rent. You have to sign up for £1 they then take £35 off you when they feel like it and you can only cancel your account by logging in but that doesn’t work either.

I'm seriously wondering if this business is legal...

It's so easy to propose one week for €1, without precising that after you'll be charged 39€ each single week.
And It's true that just one small warning before the first real rate price would be too nice.
Between business and theft, the border is so thin...
Moreover, this website is only used to give a link to other websites which already do exactly the same thing: listing accomodation offers (but, them, without swindling you).

Misleading

Misleading.

There is no information of the website that you can’t easily find elsewhere, and they are charging an extortionate price for the service. A lot of the information is outdated and they list properties that have been let for a while. Do not recommend. Be sure to cancel your subscription, if you unwillingly entered into one like I did, or you will be auto renewed for their (far from) ‘premium subscription.’
Customer service is very unhelpful.

This site uses my former property ads to decieve users to pay to see my number, but when users call me they do it for old ads, even 6 years old ads which are not available
