at the beginning it says you have to pay 15 lei (3 euros to unblock the phone numbers) no one wrote that it was a subscription and I was charged 200 lei (40 euros) I barely managed to log in again to the site to cancel the subscription and after I was charged I didn't even receive an email with a secure invoice the invoice that is in the application is a mockery of customers because it is just a site that redirects you to other sites I have asked for a refund and if it is not favorable I will go to consumer protection

Scam company, deplorable, no real listings. This is a predatory business model which WILL charge a subscription fee (of $65, which NO ONE would pay willingly) even after cancelling your account. You can't even apply to listings- they just lead to other external paid websites. Support was unhelpful and refused to refund me. Seriously guys, it's a rental crisis out here and Rentola is taking advantage of vulnerable people with little to no money.,

The customer care care is impressive.

I'VE BEEN ASKING FOR A REFUND AND THEY NEVER REPLIED. WHENEVER I OPEN THE ACCOUNT IT SAYS I DO NOT HAVE ANY SUBSCRIPTION AND NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO CHARGE MY CARD AGAIN.

This is scam- no real service, double subscription, charging after subscription is cancelled. This company should be closed for.

I was charged 40€ for the services and got nothing in return. I used the page to contact people that were renting apartments in the Netherlands and 0 responded. I got charged after a 7 day trial period and asked for a refund because the site gave me 0 responses and they responded that the policy is that they do not refund because it says so in the contract. So basically, I gave 40€ for nothing, got nothing in return and they didn't even offer to help me and contact the unresponsive sellers o their site...

You should never engage to this company. It hasn’t been useful in finding place to rent or stay but still charged me with €39 after 7-day trial period. There wasn’t any reminder that my trial period was ending and i was charged amounting to €39.

Absolutely appalling service
Absolutely appalling service. I was charged for subscription I didn't sign up for. They've refused to refund it and send me an automated email with useless information in it. I had to file a case with PayPal.

I over paid and was due 2 x R 475 refunds which were done according to Rentoza but I only received 1 of the R 475 payments. I am trying to explain this to the people emailing me and noone understands.
I NEED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER BUT THAT ISN'T HAPPENING EITHER.

I had some problems with my account. I canceled one day after purchasing the trial period and they still charged me 39 euros one week later. But everything went well, because Abhinav helped me and they returned the money.

Biggest scammers in the market.
Do not trust them. They will make you sign up and take your bank details. They will then charge you everyday! Yes everyday! Scammers

I am still being charged €39 after canceling my subscription. I originally paid €1 for a trial period, which, as I was led to believe, should have ended after a week with no further charges unless I chose to continue. But somehow, even though I followed all the steps to cancel the subscription, my card is still being charged.
I’ve tried contacting your customer service, but it’s been clear that responses are neither quick nor helpful, which is exactly what I expected given the level of service I’ve experienced so far.
At this point, I really don’t think I should have to continue chasing this. Please issue a refund for the charges that should never have been applied in the first place, and ensure that no further charges will occur.

Be careful of them! They have multiple domains in different countries and you can accidentally register for multiple websites (e.g. rentola.com, rentola.fi etc.). I just lost 800 EUR because I did not notice I have double ongoing subscription for two of their websites. Check your account and remember to cancel the subscription as soon as you do not use it. I just paid them the full year of some premium service which i never used.
Update : Now my review was flagged even though I replied to additional questions from Rentola via their online form. Really shady behavior.

I am writing to express my serious concern and dissatisfaction with rentola service, which has resulted in unauthorized charges totaling €530 from my credit card. This issue has not only caused significant financial distress but also reflects poorly on your commitment to ethical and transparent customer service practices.
I initially subscribed to your service for €1 to assist in finding a house. Unfortunately, I did not secure any housing nor benefit from any further services. Without any prior notice or consent, your service was automatically upgraded, and my credit card has been continuously charged.
Despite canceling my subscription, the deductions persisted, which is completely unacceptable and unfair. Furthermore, I attempted to delete my account and associated data, but your platform does not provide a straightforward process to do so.
To resolve this matter, I demand the following:
A full refund of €530, the total amount deducted beyond the initial €1 subscription.
Immediate deletion of my account and all associated personal data, ensuring no further charges are made.
As a student relying on a limited credit card budget, these unauthorized charges have had a severe impact on my finances. I find it deeply troubling that a service would engage in such practices without proper notification, effectively scamming customers in the name of a €1 subscription.
Should this matter not be resolved promptly and satisfactorily, I am prepared to escalate this issue to German and European consumer protection authorities and take legal action to hold your company accountable.
I trust that you will treat this complaint with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. Please confirm receipt of this email and provide a clear timeline for addressing my refund and account deletion request.
Sincerely,
