I didn’t hold out much hope for my lens being repairable as it was so old, but Fixation managed to repair it. I bought it second hand, but after this repair it now seems to AF faster than when I got i... See more

Thank you to all the team at Fixation. Excellent customer service, quick to reply to messages and a perfect repair to my Canon EF 24-70 lens. Reassuring to have somewhere to have equipment serviced and repaired to such a high standard.

Fixation kept me informed with a detailed breakdown of the repairs and replacement parts required to fix my Canon 24-70 F4 L Series Lens. The lens was cleaned and callibrated as part of the repair process. The lens was returned using DPD and delivered to my door, they will not leave it in a safe place, which I found reassuring. The repair comes with a six month warranty and and so far everything seems in order.

There was a wait for the parts to come from Japan for my broken 500mm lens but once the parts arrived the lens was repaired and sent back in three days or so. Good fast service and reasonably priced.

Super efficient and really well priced! Tried a few places in London and Fixations was by far the best!

I recently had my Sony 24–70mm G Master lens repaired by Fixation and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Their communication was excellent from start to finish — quick replies, clear updates, and genuinely helpful support.
The repair itself was completed faster than expected and to a very high standard.
It’s refreshing to deal with a company that combines technical expertise with such professional and friendly service. Highly recommended!

Excellent service, fast turnaround, couldn't be better. Checked camera in for a sensor clean and was quote 1-1.5 hours, returned to the store just after the hour and my camera was ready and waiting.

I am utterly disappointed in the service and communication breakdown from this business. The issues they have seem to be a recurring theme, and no effort made to update the negative reviews harboured by their business.
If a request to accept a repair is given by a customer, fixation should let that customer know at that point whether the parts are available to make the repairs to meet their 10-15 day turnaround. Instead what they proceed to do is offer blind hope in not giving you any information about to the parts to secure their repair jobs, which is basically business manipulation withholding this piece of important information.
I lost a lot of professional work due tos this
All businesses run an inventory, especially those dealing with tech, so the first thing they should do is tell the customer that parts are available/not available and let the customer decide how to proceed based on that information.
I sent my camera in mid-June and heard nothing back for a month. I've had to chase and call up for an update which was also a battle in itself to get information about my camera repair. I spoke to various staff members- some were meant to get back to me but never did, some were meant to email me but never happened. It took a week and a half of consistent back and forth before I got an understanding of what my camera's repair stage is at.
Another month passed before I heard anything. Then after 2 months and 2 weeks I received an email to confirm they have made the repair.
They offer no compensational discount for the wait, nor do they make an effort to contact their customers to let them know about any possible setbacks to keep you informed.
(It's like they hold the power and you can go elsewhere because they don't need your business.)

Very welcoming and helpful staff
Greeted me and offered to help, checked my camera and sorted out the issue in no time. Most importantly, Andrea inspired confidence and provided useful advice. I have no doubts this is the place I will visit for any camera related questions or purchases in the future. Thank you guys!

On June 10 2025 I booked in 2 Canon camera bodies and a lens. On June 25 I approved an estimate but heard nothing for a month so I contacted them on 22 July and they said they'd just received parts on the 18th. I then heard nothing for a few more weeks so I emailed on the 6 August but got no reply and again on the 12 August. On the 13th I phoned and was told one body and lens were ready for pickup. They said I'd already picked up the other body which is not true. They said they'd call back and when they hadn't by 3:45 I called them but got an out of office reply stating the office was now closed (the times are meant to be 10-4)

First things first, the standard of repair on a returned lens and camera body were great, I can't fault that. However, the level of customer service was nothing short of awful. I received my repair quotes in good time after I'd sent my parts back via WEX. Then that's where it all fell down. Fixation had an IT (still shown on their website as of today) which would delay some parts of their service. I hadn't heard back from WEX or Fixation and after contacting Fixation around a month after sending my gear back, they advised I had to deal with WEX. Nobody could tell me when my parts would be fixed, or when the parts to repair them would be available. After multiple emails and phone calls I was told that because of the IT issues, nobody could check the status of my repairs and that they could possibly just turn up one day. Fast forward another month and my camera body arrived at WEX. Still no idea on the lens even though I'd been told weeks before that the repair was 'in progress'. Then a couple of weeks back upon chasing AGAIN, I was told the parts hadn't arrived yet to fix my lens, and also for my camera....which is odd as I'd already received that back. Last week after almost 3 months the lens arrived at WEX. I appreciate that things go wrong, but the sign of any good company is how they deal with problems. And Fixation have been awful. Nobody at WEX would divulge on what the IT issue was. Where they victims of a cyber attack? Have my customer details been compromised? Zero communication other than a short message on their website. I'll certainly not be using Fixation again if I can help it.

Took 14 days for a quote, was then quoted £650 to repair a camera that cost £490 brand new less than a year previously.
Quoted for new LCD screen although this was working perfectly with no scratches, I have been told the screen arm was bent and the screen comes as 1 unit so will need to be replaced, I have examined the arm myself (engineer 25yrs) and there is no bend or deformity at all and the mechanism works perfectly fine, sheer lazy diagnostics on the techs part.
Rear plastic housing was cracked and had battery error.
Total waste of time.

I recently had my Sony macro lens repaired by Fixation UK, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. It had already been through an unsuccessful repair attempt elsewhere, so I really appreciated how Fixation took genuine interest in the issue right from the start. The repair was completed to a high standard, but what truly set them apart was their outstanding communication throughout. Every question I had was answered promptly, and I was kept informed from the moment I sent the lens in until it was safely returned. A huge thank you to the entire team – keep up the fantastic work!

Repair was good and pricing was fair. However communication in my particular case was bad and ended up disappointed.
Wrongly saved e-mail address led to me having to follow-up to get the confirmation e-mail and then again to get the estimate e-mail (after a month). Then asked them if it were possible to fix by a certain date (2 weeks time) at which I would be in London, which they aimed to do which was greatly appreciated. However, they didn't mention the shop was actually closed that day, which led to another 4 weeks delay as I was out of the country, and so on. In the end it took 2 months until I could pick it up, usually it takes 3-4 weeks in such a case.
In general I think this place is very good and can be highly recommended, with friendly staff and fair prices. It was just my particular case that was a bit of a mess. Could have been avoided if I'd been able to check the spelling of the e-mail at intake or they would've updated it after I sent them a mail asking for confirmation. However I am also aware that when they sent me the confirmation I could have double-checked their spelling of my e-mail address, it just didn't come to mind as I had gotten the e-mail.
