Picked the pick up and delivery option
Picked the pick up and delivery option, all went very quickly lens returned within 14 days.
It would have been nice however to actually speak to the engineer.

Totally satisfied with the whole process
Excellent job done on the repairs I requested. Turnaround time was good. A fair quote was provided quickly. The process of sending and returning the camera was easy and safe. Overall I am totally satisfied with the service and would not hesitate to use the company again in the future.

Paid £550 + to return my ProFoto light
Paid £550 + to return my ProFoto light, it's been back and forth 3 times now and still not working.
Fixation now want me to pay another £200 to fix! Can't recommend at all.

To clarify the history: the original repair was completed in September and the light was returned to us in December after your photographer reported it was firing intermittently. Our technician conducted extensive testing over several days but was unable to replicate the fault. As such, the order was marked “No fault found affecting the Flash. No repair action taken.”
After we communicated this, you kindly shared further details from your photographer, and our technician still unable to find a definitive fault recommended replacing the panel and main board as a **precaution**. This was not related to the original repair as no fault was identified that would be covered under warranty. However, as a gesture of goodwill, the new estimate included only the cost of the parts, with all labour charges waived.
This estimate was declined, and the equipment was returned to you on 14th April. That was our last recorded contact from you on this matter.
We understand your frustration and are sorry this experience has fallen short of expectations.
Thoroughly recommend Fixation
Terrific, quick, efficient service at a reasonable price. Sadly, following falls, I have had to use them a couple of time for repairs to my Tamron 16-300 telephoto zoom lens. Not been disappointed yet.

Well informed throughout the whole process and despite saying it make take longer due to large amount of work, took less than the 2 weeks stated and arrived back home well packaged a day after work was paid for. Will definitely use again if needed

Brilliant and honest repair service
Brilliant and honest repair service and outstanding care for customers.
Despite being a professional photographer, I had never broken my camera before in my life. I asked for a quotation in more than one place before leaving it with Fixation.
It was the only repair service that gave me a clear and plausible quote with a detailed list of reasons for it. Then, since they had to afford less expenses than estimated, I was asked to pay £80.00 less.
Moreover, the person who served me in the shop was extremely approachable and welcoming.

Clean sensor
Sent off my Sony A7ii for sensor cleaning. There were a lot of spots. Came back dramatically improved - couldn't see any spots on my first photos.
Took less time than the window noted on their site - just 6 days, including the weekend, from me sending it, to receiving it back.

A Straightforward Efficient Repair Process
I used Fixation to repair my Nikon D500 which had developed a fault. I submitted the repair on 27th April 2025 and the camera was back with me in perfect order by 14th May 2025. I found the whole process straightforward. Printing pre-paid postage labels from DPD was also very convenient. The overall price I was happy with also.

Canon 400mm f2.8 mk2 repair
Lens is working as well as before. It took longer than expected to be repaired and there were problems with paying (I rec'd a bill for the shipping but nothing for the repair). Not having the return shipping in the repair bill meant that it wasn't paid by the insurer.

Second time using Fixation
Second time I’ve used fixation and the work they did is outstanding. Nikon D500 dragged from car seat , lens ring and chamber smashed , front and back cover badly cracked
Came back like new again , even all the rubber grips replaced , strap rings and covers , sensor cleaned and calibrated
