The team and Tom were really excellent…

The team and Tom were really excellent in getting the right spare parts for our rangemaster cooker , I am an experienced gas engineer and when people go the extra mile to get your spares or information it really helps. I would strongly recommend this company for any work , spares or technical info , Well done Tom and team keep up the good work

Mark was really helpful and went out of his way to find us a local engineer but also advise us honestly as to whether a service was the right thing or not. He was also really quick and reliable to call us back.

I'm so impressed

I'm so impressed. Paul came out yesterday to complete the repair on my old cooker - which turned out to not be as straight forward as it looked - and his knowledge and experience (and hard graft!) meant it could all be sorted. Really happy and would 100% recommend.

Excellent service from start to finish. Courteous and efficient service from both customer services and engineer. I was kept up to date at all stages and repair was carried out on initial visit. Delighted with service.

Fab customer service

The man that I spoke to on the phone was lovely and so helpful. I felt out of my depth but he was able to guide me and the part arrived really quickly too. Would be happy to use again even just to speak to the friendly team on the end of the phone!! Thank you so much!!

A frustrating experience

A frustrating experience. I have an AGA Masterchef Electric oven which blew fuses and stopped working. On19 March. Repairtech collected payment that day and promised an engineer by Friday. I heard no more so chased by phone and email without getting any information of the promised engineer. Requests for the details of complaints procedure or Directors details were ignored. Chased again on 9 April and the engineer finally called on 11 April over 3 weeks after taking payment. I am in my mid 80s and effectively had no cooking facilities over the Easter period. Beware, DO Not part with your money without obtaining a firm promise of action by this company.

We are deeply disappointed to read the comments given in your review and we apologise for the delay in the repair to your appliance. However, we do confirm that we are not an “emergency” service. Payment was taken on Wednesday 20.03.24 and you would have been informed that the Engineer would contact you within 1-2 working days. We would not advise that a visit would take place by Friday as we have a large network of Authorised Repair Agents and as such, we ask the Engineers to call you directly to arrange the appointment to ensure a mutually convenient date. An out of area Engineer was assigned to your call due to the Engineer who had attended on a previous occasion being on Annual Leave until 02.04.24 and we confirm that you were made aware of this.
Unfortunately, you were not contacted by the assigned Engineer within the agreed timescale and upon being notified of this, we contacted the Engineer ourselves asking for them to call you asap to arrange your visit. Sadly, this did not happen and as a result we offered the choice of a full refund or to re-assign to the Engineer who had been on Annual Leave. The job was subsequently reassigned on 03.04.24 and we are pleased to note the repair was completed on 11.04.24.
We sincerely apologise that your experience has not meet your expectations or our standards on this occasion.

Range master oven repair

Up front contact and on the day contact was excellent. Have no cause to doubt that the work carried out was professionally completed. The problem seems to have been solved.
My wife ( the cleanest person I know) was affronted when the engineer called the oven door filthy! We couldn't work out how to clean the internal glass door hence it was dirty with routine use over the years not ' filthy'

A more thoughtful approach would have been more appropriate and appreciated in someone's house.

Grill elements and service

Replaced my grill elements which could be accessed from the front and also did a service replacing seals and catches. If you do need your cooker moved away from the wall, they have boards to protect the floor. All done promptly.

Poor service

My advice would be not to use this company. My range cooker still has not been repaired correctly since October when I first arranged a visit.It has been a complete series of errors and mistake after mistake. We are currently without hobs to cook with and have been for the last month.The hobs worked before the engineer came out to fix them - now they do not.He has carried out various repairs since October. He returned yesterday to fix the hobs (after a month) however had the wrong part - this is not the first time he has come with the incorrect part despite having carried out the inspection.When he left yesterday morning he assured me that someone would be in contact with me by the end of the day. This has not been the case indeed I am the one having to make the phone calls. When I call the service desk they seem unable to help other than tell me that they are 'chasing' it up with the engineers.There appears to be very little communication between the two departments which can only be excerbating the extremely the poor service.On occasions the service team have assured me that they will call me by the end of the day and they have not. The whole service has been very frustrating but also very distressing. I await to see when I'll hear and when the engineer can come out with the correct part. I am hoping by the end of the week but hold out very little hope.

Excellent service

The call handler was marvellous and communicated really well and did what she promised and rang me back - promptly too . I was amazed when the item appeared less than 24 hours later . Very impressive .
It was a bit of a job fitting the new door and I ended up taking it off again and using the old fixings , which had spacers. My new oven door is fitted perfectly now .
The problem was with ME! I was convinced that I could see a crack in the old glass and it turned out to be the silver foil insulation had slipped a bit . There was as no need at all for a new door/ glass fitting ! 🤷‍♀️
It’s just worth looking properly , not making assumptions and getting another pair of eyes to check !
Anyway , I am still very pleased with my new set up .
