Resolute Legal boasts a well-established housing disrepair division. According to Section 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, landlords with tenancies lasting less than seven years are obligated to maintain the structure and exterior of the dwelling, along with various installations for water, gas, electricity, sanitation, space heating, and water heating. In addition to these statutory duties, landlords also have contractual obligations outlined in the tenancy agreement. If you suspect that your landlord has failed to fulfil these responsibilities, you may have grounds to initiate County Court proceedings to compel them to carry out the necessary repairs, along with seeking damages. Resolute Legal can offer guidance throughout the housing disrepair process, including expert advice and assistance in navigating any technical defences that may arise.

Resolute legal and Clayona McGann have been fantastic in getting through to my local council in regards to works that they have been refusing to do for several years. And also helping me get compensation with how I have been treated. Definitely highly recommend! Many Thanks.

I am extremely pleased with the services of Resolute Legal. They dealt with my case professionally and efficiently. My case handler, Adil Hussain, was professional throughtout this matter, providing updates and explaining the procedure in a way that made it easy for me to understand.
For 7 years my landlord negated my property and ignored my complaints. It was only when Adil and his team got involved, my landlord did the repairs.

For many years I struggled to get repair issues fixed that were and are outstanding with my local council. Once I contacted tenants advice, they gave me the huge added support I needed. They reviewed all the issues that I had continuously raised, and acted on my behalf to resolve them. All the individuals involved were marvelous and supportive, especially Clayona Mcgann who was patient and kind and a great support throughout the whole process and beyond. I cannot thank Clayona and the company enough.

Adil, my solicitor, has built an amazing rapport with me; providing the space for me to explain my problems [ mould and dampness inside my residence] and replies with helpful information [ always being organised and communicating to me any changes and developments].

I agree with the patient who said Resolute and as good until DR.LOEL WALSH came to PSL office. He NEVER met me and I had never seen him before. He and an RN ? ambushed me in the room I was waiting in. He is rude, condescending, arrogant an had a GOD complex. He prescribed me a film to put it m the mouth and let resolve, after I TOLD him more than once I tried the mouth patches and the didn’t work!!!!! I said 2 pills a day is fine, just not film. He an his little side kick got a good laugh after I left. Picked RX next day, it was a FILM TO BE PUT IN THE MOUTH. He is ruining Resolute in PSL. Due to the completely unprofessional WALSH I stopped going! I found a Doctor that understands Chronic Pain. God Bless anyone who comes in contact with this awful Doctor!

I contacted resolute Legal and received a response very quickly, my advisor was a Mr George Mclouglin. Mr Mclouglin was very efficient and kept us in the loop at every opportunity. He was consistent and actually cared about the outcome. I would hope that Mr Mclouglin excellent working practices are seen throughout the entire organisation that he work for.
The issue of damp which I have been trying to resolve since 2018 was successfully resolved with a start time for works to be completed due to the fact that Mr Mclouglin left no stone unturned.
If resolute legal see this review please thank Mr Mclouglin on behalf of Mr Prince and Miss Bell.
THANK YOU

UPDATE 10.11.2022 I want to make this absolutely clear that I DO NOT HAVE THE WRONG COMPANY. I raised a complaint with this company and requested (amongst other things) that they respond truthfully to this review. To date they have not done this and not amended their response. If anyone would like verification that I do have the correct company you can contact me directly via Facebook Sandie Hayes
I was introduced to this Company when they responded to a letter issued to one of their clients on my behalf in regards to a incomplete bathroom installation. They asked specifically that all correspondence went via them. I welcomed their advocacy in acting on behalf of their client, however, that was very short lived when it became clear that their following action or lack thereof negated their response to my letter. Despite my several attempts to resolve the bathroom issues, providing evidence and correspondence between myself and their client this Company failed to respond. I have no idea if they no longer represent their client or they are simply choosing to ignore me despite inviting my correspondence! I was not nor ever will be a client of this Company they responded to my letter acting on behalf of their client then failed miserably to follow through wasting my time and unnecessarily perpetuating the issues. If they were not receiving instructions from their client then a simply response advising so would have sufficed. They chose not to do that. I could have acted a lot earlier in taking his client to court however he is now trying to dissolve his Company and any chances of receiving any monies from him are now severely limited. I have been left out of pocket with a bathroom that is not fit for purpose that has continued leaks that i do not have the resources to fix. It has been extremely distressing trying to find a resolution to no avail and has greatly impacted upon my mental health. If you're looking for advocacy I certainly would not recommend or trust this Company given my experience with them. Whether I was a client or a third party is not relevant they contacted my rep to endeavour to resolve the issues, we complied, we were fair and reasonable, we allowed plenty of time for responses, we did not harangue them in any way and yet they still ignored me.
Your response is very disappointing however not unsurprising given our experience. We dealt with a Mr George McLaughin who is a co Director of this Company. He engaged with my rep on behalf of his client with the opening statement.
I have had sight of your email to my client dated 22/3/22.
My client welcomes any steps which might ‘de-escalate’ the current impasse between the parties and facilitate the completion of the project.
I would be obliged if all future correspondence might be directed through ourselves
Regards
Mr George Mcloughlin

As you can see we have been trying to resolve these issues since March! Mr McLaughlin inserted himself in this complaint to his client and came forward with zero resolution, we provided evidence of correspondence, images of the damage and continued leaks. We followed the correct procedure under the consumer act, allowed time for responses that never came. Our last communication was on the13 July whereupon we asked for any update/response from his client. Mr McLaughlin responded the following day advising he would consult with his client. To date we have received no response.
Mr McLaughlin may well be renowned for being relaxed as your about page inserts however it omits ignorant also. Your company involved itself within our dispute by acting for your client therefore it was your responsibility to respond to us with your clients instructions you neglected to do so.

Amazing service. Mr Hussain and his team put pressure on my housing association and helped me resolve matters I had been trying to solve myself for two years, and the team did this in less than three months. Now my bathroom will be refitted. I am forever grateful and indebted to Resolute Legal they gave me hope and delivered on my expectations. They are a lifeline to anybody out there who is living in unsuitable dire conditions.
